You sprinted around the shrine in the midst of a game of hide and seek. You, Kotetsu and Onikiri were the hiders while Mizuki was seeking you. He wasn't good at it though, it had been almost five minutes since he was in and as far as you could tell there was no sight of him as you sat upon a large branch camouflage in the trees. You placed your head back for a moment shutting your eyes as your head gently found itself resting upon the tree. You slowly opened your eyes, seeing the snake a boy's body stare at you slyly as he hung upside down with his lips inches from your own.

'Found you.'

His voice made a shiver go down your spine and a blush appear on your face how close he was to you.

'Do I get something in return?' he whispered,

He was moving closer towards you to the point your lips were going to touch any time soon until Tomoe grabbed Mizuki by his neck pulling him out of the tree and staring coldly at the snake.

'No,' Tomoe grumbled,

You watched the kitsune throw the snake like a frisbee metres away from where he was moments before.

'Why did you do that?' You shouted at the boy,

He looked confused,

'What do you mean?' he questioned,

'I would've liked Mizuki and wanted that kiss and you threw him away! Are you jealous or something!' you shouted,

He was taken back, he had no answer. You didn't particularly like Mizuki in that way nor wanted him to kiss you. You liked Tomoe yet he didn't like you so why would you ever try with him? You stopped up from the branch, staring eye to eye at him in anger since he had to respond.

'Just leave me alone.' You grumbled,

You jumped from the branch landing on the ground, you walked into the shrine and into your bedroom laying upon the futon placed across the floor. You watched as Kotestsu and Onikiri returned from their hiding spots.

'Y/n would you like sake?' Tomoe asked,

Your face went red with anger grabbing the pillow you threw at his general direction hitting him square in the face.

'Get out Tomoe!' you hissed,

You heard the door shut behind him and the flame of your anger began to wither, turning into the sleeping feeling that made you continue to nod your head back and forth before you soon found yourself nodding off.

Your eyes slowly opened up once more though the feeling of tiredness remained. You felt your upper body lifted up and your head found a pillow in someone's lap. You didn't know who exactly it was as their hands stroked your head down to the end of the strands of your hair playing with them before they continued on. You moved yourself around to stare upon the person until you realised it was Tomoe.

'Y/n...' he whispered,

'Tomoe.' you yawned 'Why, why are you here?'

You could see him try to figure out an answer to your question until he found the perfect answer to the question.

'Because I wanted to.'

'Tomoe... I can't have you doing this to my feelings.' you paused

Everything was overwhelming you, you couldn't deal with him playing with your feelings to the point you just had to confess.

'I like you Tomoe.' you cried,

You watched a smirk form upon his lips, he slowly moved down so your lips touched ever so briefly before he pulled away leaving you a blushing mess though the darkness of the room hid it slightly.

'Well it's mutual, now go back to sleep you're doing all my chores tomorrow.' he chuckled,

You gave him a glare before making yourself comfortable in the boy's lap. Tomoe brought his hand to your temple slowly playing with strands of your hair as you soon found yourself asleep once more. Who knew snakes could get hot kitsunes jealous.
