Tamaki Amajiki X Reader

'Tamaki!' he shouted,

He found himself in an utter wave of people moving from palace to place; each time he seemingly got closer he was one step behind. His hero costume fell upon his body draped as if he was a cold child wrapped in their blankets trying to ask their parents to turn the heater on if not more blankets to satisfy them. That was until he enlarged himself to the point people had to forcefully move out of his ways, he pushed passed and his hand reached out once again,

'Tamaki!'

The boy's head softly turned around, sweats of bullets fell on his cheeks and an utmost awkward look upon his face, one that snapped to horror as his body was lifted up till his feet didn't touch the floor. His body shook like a ragdoll in his employer's arm.

The look of desperation upon Fatgums face, 'Tamaki I need a favor. You see- I haven't seen my precious baby girl since she was a child and I tried to get out of this meeting but I couldn't so I need a babysitter.' he paused and stared blankly at Tamaki 'I mean not a baby sitter just someone to look after her so she doesn't get into any trouble. I promise I'll repay you in the best food in the city.'

He smiled towards the boy whose skin began to turn and saw a sick grin from his head constantly swinging back and forth by the constant shaking. He wanted to say no but he didn't want to let someone that meant so much like Fatgum did to him, in the flash of thoughts he was dragged into the room. He found himself in the tight grip of Fatgum, he couldn't tell if it was his nervous that were shaking or Fatgums,

'Y/n!' he nervously called through an award winning grin,

'Y/n!'

You had never seen so many people in one place before; they walked the streets below like little ants all working for the same cause. Your hands pulled back, holding the inner parts of your sweatshirt sleeve. Your knees to your chest, the blank stare on your face as you slowly leant back to stare upon him.

The office chair wasn't awfully that comfortable, your eyes flickered to him; he was still in his larger form and the nervous grin upon his face where his lips trembled remind you that you were related to how similar it was. Then your eyes fell off him, they fell to the boy who was gripped by the neck of shirt, his eyes still on the door he had been dragged through.

'Hey, Taishiro,'

You wanted to call him dad, but couldn't. He loved you and that was crystal clear, he never missed an important thing like your birthday or christmas, yet you couldn't find it. You span the office chair around with your foot slightly pushing against the window panel, as guilt began to drain upon you.

'I'm sorry my little mochi ball,' he paused and moved forward, letting go of the boy and standing at the edge of the table between the two of you, 'I have an important meeting but I have a friend who will show you around.'

His arms swung towards the boy who was awkwardly standing directly behind him, his head pressed against the wall. You looked at the boy before back at Fatgum,, you watched his eyes snap back and forth. His arms wrapped around the shoulders of the boy, in one big pick up he pulled him to stand in between himself, the table and you.

You watched him tremble and nervous fell upon his face, Fatgum kept his nervous face from you with a soft smile before he dashed away. You watched the boy begin to creep down, almost hiding behind the table.

'So, who are yo-' 'Iwanna go home,'

Your eyebrows arched a confused look before you couldn't help but slightly giggle at his profound love for wanting to escape and go home. You stood up and walked around the table till you stood beside him.

'I'm going to take the hint that you don't particularly like social interactions; that's fine by me.' you paused and heard the soft grumble from your stomach, 'I'm getting hungry how about we go eat something.'

You could see his slight nodd, as the two of you made it to the best restaurant in the prefecture. He kept up yet left a gap of distance between you, his eyes plastered to the floor as you made it into the restaurant. You guessed the waiter thought it was a date, her squeal in delight and her eyes; especially when she said he always comes in with Fatgum but a woman the same age she could only guess.

The two of you ordered and then silence struck again, you kept your eyes upon him while his squeamish staring upon the menu.

'So why do you call fatgum by his name not by dad?' his voice shook profusely, he didn't dare to make eye contact and his voice was so quiet barely a mouse could hear it.

'He's a hero. Heroes save people at the risk of their own life-' you paused and played with the cutlery 'I watched him come home every night bloody and bruised, I didn't want those to be the memories in my head if he died.'

'You left him because you were worried for his safety?' you gave a weak smile, 'I wanted to remember my father, not the name of some dead hero.'

He sighed, 'I don't have hero parents so I can't say I understand...'

You looked at him and smiled, 'You don't need to, I'm glad I can just talk to someone about it.'

You watched his cheeks turn red, the menu taken by the waiter as the food was delivered and devoured in an instant. You smiled at him and left the restaurant walking equally together. You saw he was beginning to become cold, the soft snap of wind between the buildings brought goosebumps up his arms. He had one jacket on yet it wouldn't subdue the cold breeze, the same with you. You slowly shuffled beside him softly, you body pressed against his side and your arm softly wrapped around his upper back.

'Tamaki, can you give me your phone for a second.'

He nodded softly and in the hand that wasn't wrapped around him you held his phone placing your number into his contacts.

'What are you doing?'

'I don't know, you have something about you,' you paused and smiled, 'I wanna see you become a great hero one day.'

You watched his cheeks bright, Fatgum yanked you away from Tamaki, his body almost absorbing you entirely as you let out a gasp trying to keep your breath. You pulled away and stared at Tamaki, you slowly gave him his phone back. Before Fatgum tried to pull you away, you stared at him.

'I hope to see you soon, Tamaki. You'll make a good hero one day.' you said passing by, pulled away by your own father watching his cheeks turn red as he stared at his phone, possibly seeing the name you put yourself as.ย
