As kids you were inseparable but that never stayed the same. As adults things weren't as simple, Senku worked long hours and when he finished it was too late. Today was one of those out of the blue days, the building was under renovations and so the wifi had to be turned off mid day which you didn't tell Senku. You lounged across the couch in the main foyer staring endlessly at the closed door belonging to the office in the two of yours shared penthouse. Inside the office was Senku of course, tinkering away on one of his many projects like he always did. It was upsetting, you knew the two of you loved one another but you wished times were simpler for the moment being. You heard a few shouts in anger from the boy, you guessed they just took down the wifi. The sounds of shuffles to the door you watched as the door was pushed open by none other than Senku. In one arm he held his laptop while the other hand laid upon the doorknob.

'Did you know?' he asked,

You just stared upon him, holding the couch pillow to your chest as you hide your lips for the most part to stop yourself from smiling.

'Yeah.' you said sheepishly,

He just sighed, you knew he was frustrated if not angry with you, you didn't tell him due to the fact you just wanted to spend time with him. He just stared at you, he sighed walking towards you and he placed his laptop on the coffee table. He slowly slipped next to you, the two of you laying on your sides as you stared at one another. His hands wrapped around you, holding you in his arms.

'I'm sorry, I'm sorry my dear. I'm sorry I haven't spent as much time with you in a while. You know that I love you my dearest.' he sighed,

You placed a kiss upon his lips. You could see the visible eye bags under his eyes and you wondered how long it has been since he last slept. You smiled, he stood up, taking his lab coat off. He picked you up in his arms which made you smile, compared to you he was weaker, you're not actually that heavy but the boy had no muscles so you probably wondered how he was able to do it. He carried you to the bedroom, pushing the gapping door with his back. He walked around the bedroom with you in his arms before he placed you on the bed before falling beside you.

He let out a soft sigh as if he had done a workout which made you laugh at the boy. You rolled on top of the boy as he held you tightly smiling. You just moved a few strands of hair away from the boy's face, yet in the same moment you did the two of you fell asleep.

It was a few more hours until you woke up, Senku was softly snoring, holding you tightly as if he was afraid to lose you. You just smiled placing kisses upon his jawline all you could do was smile at the boy. You knew he needed to sleep so you didn't bother moving in case you woke him up. You knew when he got extremely tired he would talk in his sleep and as you guessed he did.

'Love... y/n.'

Those words escaped his lips which made you grin at the thought. He really did love you, he really did. You placed your head on his chest and said you loved him back before you closed your eyes and soon went back to sleep alongside your lover, Senku Ishigami.
