A ballet dancer wasn't useful in the stone age. What could a ballet dancer do anyway? Everything out here wanted to kill you then eat you or eat then kill you, what would you even do... dance the creatures away? So you wondered, why would Senku bring you back anyway if you weren't particularly useful. Yes you were his secret girlfriend but still, love over power, you guessed senku made the wrong choice. The idea that you were one of the last people left, sent to the stone age with no survival skills sometimes haunted you. You missed your family, you missed your normal school life, you just missed everything to the point you were completely homesick with no way of going home.

The only thing that made you feel better was Senku yet now that was stripped away from you due to him winning the village tournament thus becoming the village head and married to Ruri. It made you feel even more useless, what were you useful anyway and if you were just the love interest to the boy then he had just found a new love interest in the past head chief of the village's daughter, Ruri. So, you left. You left to a small place only you knew, it was close to the cliff edge with shady trees that allowed you to lay under them for shelter. You stood just off the edge of the cliff, the waves crashing against the rocks down below it made you smile reminding of you of the time you stood on a similar cliff face though you were mostly not paying attention to the view due to your father being attacked by seagulls as your mother tried to shoo them away.

It was funny, it brought tears to your eyes as you remembered simpler times. You remembered your last time in the modern day, your last dance. You remembered it like it was yesterday, your mother's favourite dance, Swan Lake. You were of course the black swan, beautiful and gracious. In your final moments as your character the green flash before the bodies became stone. The only time you had ever been a main role foiled by something completely out of your hands. You still remembered the routine so you began to act it out, shutting your eyes as if you were performing your memory in front of the crowd once more. You felt as if you were still in that time, if you were still dancing on the stage in front of thousands who gazed upon you like the porcelain ballerina doll dancing in their jewelry boxes that were given to them usually by their grandparents.

Senku sighed, he stood frustrated in the middle of the science kingdom. Alongside him stood the majority of the population of the kingdom. It was obvious by his face he was frustrated and the visible eye bags that formed under his eyes, due to the lack of sleep he had from not finding you in the span he had become chief. He turned his head towards Gen who was smiling about the whole situation, which Senku guessed that it was due to the fact he knew exactly where you were.

'Gen,' Senku grumbled,

He watched Gen size up to the boy as Gen stood in front of Senku glaring with a sly look upon his face.

'You know what I want Senku.'

It made Senku grumble, he knew Gen wanted a cola. Senku just sighed, nodding his head which made Gen smirk.

'She's down on the cliff side, she looked sad when she left, I suggest she might be omehay icksay.'

Senku wasn't particularly good with emotions, he was better with the whole scientific thing. He should have realised something, he was her boyfriend he should have realised she was homesick. Senku nodded his head leaving towards the cliff face in the direction given to him by Gen. He saw you in the fork of the trees, he watched as you danced ever so gracefully. Senku smiled, he remembered when he came to a concert just to glare at you with his eyes never leaving you for a moment. He remembered how happy you were about things in simpler times, he remembered when you danced in front of him for the first time how you reminded him of an angel.

He stood there for what felt like only a few minutes but was actually an hour so. He moved towards her, he was going to surprise her but his foot snapped a twig scarring the girl as she jumped out of her skin.

The sound of a twig snapping behind you made you jump out of your skin. You let out a squeal, turning around and you saw Senku staring at you with a smile. He walked towards you until he was metres away from you standing there.

'How long have you been there?' You asked him,

He just shrugged, you guessed he was there for a long time but you honestly couldn't tell time even if you tried.

'Do you want to talk about things?' he asked,

To be honest you didn't particularly want to talk, it was dumb especially with everything that was going on and what had already happen. Being homesick in the stone age was like a mosquito while being sent back to the stone age was this over the top thing like a lion or a tiger of sorts. What exactly were you supposed to do, your problems were on a small scale compared to everything else.

'I just miss home,' you paused for a moment 'I just miss how things were simple and I guess-' he cut you off,

'Things got over the top yesterday didn't they?'

You just nodded your head, he knew exactly what pushed you over the edge. He knew exactly why you disappeared from last night up to the whole of today, he knew his actions of sorts pushed you over the edge and he could only guess that a bit of jealousy had to play a role in it too.

He walked towards you, he wrapped his arms around you squeezing you as he placed multiple kisses up your jawline. He knew that always made you better but usually the two of you did "romantic" things hidden deep, deep, into the jungle. You knew Senku didn't want everyone knowing about the two of you so they didn't put a target on your back yet you loved this type of affection from the boy.

'Senku, what if we get seen!' you partially whispered, partially shouted,

You heard him chuckle, his breath tickling your ear which made you smile as he rested his head on your shoulder still holding you.

'I don't care at the moment, I care about you being happy. What if I make you Ballerina slippers?' he paused, 'I know you're homesick but I know you would feel happy if you had something that reminded you of home other than me.'

'Yeah, that would be nice.' you whispered,

And as promised the day after Senku not only gifted you with ballerina slippers but Gen who did absolutely nothing who got a cola to his excitement. Though it wasn't like your home things in the stone world were starting to feel as if it was normal and like it was almost a home away from home.ย
