You sat in the observatory with nothing on your mind other than the underlying fact it was cold. Winter was just around the corner yet to be honest all you wanted was to wake up from this nightmare, it wasn't all bad you just were homesick that's all. You missed your boring normal life, you missed your parents, you just missed everything, you wondered where their bodies were and if they'd still be in all pieces. Thinking about it you hadn't realised hot tears had been pouring down your cheeks until a droplet fell on your hand shocking you realisation. You whipped them away from your face sniffling quietly so you didn't wake up Chrome or Senku, you knew Chrome could sleep through everything but from hearing Senku roll over you weren't sure if he was asleep or awake. You rubbed your eyes again yet before taking your hands off your face someone had taken the time to throw a blanket over the top of you and sit beside you with an arm wrapped around your waist. You brought your hands away from your eyes, turning your head you looked to see the scientist himself holding you gently while his fingers slowly massage the soft skin of your waist.

"I don't like you crying Y/n..." His voice was soft, almost a whisper as he spoke, you turned your face away from him knowing your face was still blotchy and red, "You want to talk about it or no." You shook your head in a 'no' hearing him let out a small chuckle. He slowly brought your head into his lap wrapping the blanket around your body; you weren't that cold no more. It felt nice. A few minutes had passed and well you had to tell him, "I'm homesick." Although you weren't facing him you could tell how concerned he was by the change in his body, he rubbed your hip softly like your mother used to do. You turned your whole body the other way to look at him, you looked at the sadness in his eyes which made you tears fall down your face.

You wished you could be far away from him as you cried yet you couldn't stop bawling in front of him. All you could see was a small smile creeping onto his face yet it wasn't one that was insincere but one that was actually genuine. "I know it's hard, and what I may say might not help but I want you to know that I love you-" You cut him off "Percentage?" you watched his soft smile become more of a toothy grin. "I Love you ten billion percent, so get excited!" Senku's eyes lit up as you placed a kiss on his cheek before laying your head back in his lap watching his face turn red. "Y/n! Senku! SHut Uppp!!!!!" Chrome's whining made the two of you blush, the worst moment became better and now you're just embarrassed that Chrome heard. "We should get some sleep," Senku whispered as you lifted your head up so he was able to lay beside you. He held you tightly in his arms, the worst moment became better than became awkward and now you wanted to live every day in his arms, your parents would be proud that you met such a person like Senku, though you hate the stone world it somewhat became much better with Senku and you being together now.
