Rindo Haitani X Reader

As a dumb teen you always ran after a certain boy that made your heart miss a few beats, you ran after him knowing fully well he never had feelings for you yet you still ran after him thinking you had a chance. You were just a dumb teen with hopes the boy would like you in return but it wasn't until he spelt it out to you when you realised. You were just a dumb teen when he shouted the words that he hated you at your face, you were only a dumb teen when you ran away from the whole gang life.

Yet you weren't a dumb teen anymore, you had a head on top of your neck now. You ran your own flower shop now, just as you wanted when you were young. You were happy, threw and threw though the only thing you were missing out on was in the love department. You never loved a boy like a boy as much as you liked Rindo Haitani, you've tried countless times but nothing ever comes near to the love you had for him though it had been years on end since you saw him last.

For weeks on end a bouquet of bellflowers had found itself on the doorstep of your shop door every single morning though you didn't know who they were from. You placed them in a beautiful vase on the counter, your hands gilded over the flowers with a smile. You watched as a few customers walked in, served by a few of your workers. You held a large number of roses, you turned around seeing a customer stand behind you frightened you completely it made you jump out of your skin.

'I'm sorry,' you sighed,

You brought the flowers to your chest, the man was awfully good looking and as you stood there staring at his burgundy-lilac hair and a slim but fitting suit that made him look quite muscular and hot.

'It's fine, Y/n.' he whispered,

You glared confused, you never usually gave your name to anyone so you were confused on how he knew it.

'I'm sorry, how do you know my name?' you asked,

You saw him smile, it was familiar to you yet you didn't understand why. The two of you were the only ones that stood in the front of the shop with the customers and workers disappeared for the moment.

'You don't remember me? N/n.' he chuckled

The roses fell from you hand, it was almost as if you were a dumb teen once more standing in front of your crush as if no years have gone passed. You were filled with emotions though you didn't want to show him, you just stood still staring at him before you snapped out of it bending down as you picked up the roses you dropped.

'Y/n?'

You didn't say anything, rather you didn't know what to say. You placed the roses down upon one of the benches nearby. Walking around the bench you just stared blankly at him with a blank face, hiding your emotions.

'I have nothing to say to you, Rindo.'

You could see he looked hurt, you hadn't seen that expression come from the boy ever. He's changed.

'And I have everything to say to you, y/n.'

You glared at him, turning your head to the bellflowers before glaring back at Rindo like puzzle pieces finally made the full puzzles.

'You sent them didn't you.' you grumbled,

He sighed, his hands in the pockets of his suit pants and a nervous demeanour on his face before he spoke.

'When everything went down I didn't understand my feelings for you. I couldn't comprehend anything. I never felt like that for you so I told you to leave. That was my biggest regret ever, when you disappeared I spent every day either thinking about you or trying to find you. All I wanted to tell you was I like you.' he sighed,

You glared at him, your cheeks pink. You wanted to hear this so long, it brought tears to your eyes.

'I wished you told me sooner, Rindo. I wish you didn't push me away so much when we were younger.' you paused,

You didn't want to have this conversation in front of customers nor your workers. So you glared at Rindo, walking around the bench you grabbed his hand pulling him out of the shop and to the small alleyway leaning against the wall you left him standing in the middle of it before you sighed.

'You can start apologising by taking me to lunch at that fancy restaurant we always went by when we were younger,' you smiled,

You played with the hem of your skirt, staring at the boy as he grabbed your hand slowly walking forward to the point your bodys were almost pressed against one another similar to your lips almost touching which made you smile.

'Maybe a little kiss could help.' he whispered,

You lips inches apart before they were millimeters apart they were almost going to touch until a voice stopped you.

'Y/n.' 'Rindo!'

You turned your head to see one of your workers standing alongside Rindo's twin Ran. Your face went bright as the two of you stared at one another realising how close you were yet how far the two of you were still. You let out a small chuckle, staring into his eyes before staring back at the worker and Ran.

'After work. You, me and a date at that fancy restaurant.' he whispered,

You nodded your head, you placed a kiss upon his cheek slipping from his grip, you turned around and smiled.

'You, me and our date at the fancy restaurant,' you whispered as you disappeared from his sight.

As a dumb teen you always chased after a boy you had no chance with. As an adult you still chased after that boy though he finally returned the favour.ย
