Nobara Kugisaki X Reader

'Are you here yet?' I mumbled against the screams and shouts of the crowd into my phone,

The recipient of the phone call read as so, Nobara's nickname I gave to her when I first met her yet altered as our relationship became a little more complex than just friends. "๐Ÿ’—๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŽ€ My Babydoll ๐ŸŽ€๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ’— " three minutes and forty-two seconds had already passed upon the phone call.

'Yeah I see you.'

Anxiously I played with the belt loop of my jeans, the sweater fell off the side of my arm as I heard her hang up on me though I still couldn't see her. I couldn't help but pout as I brought the phone down from my ear, it was our first official date and while it was my first date with another person it was my first date with a girl. Not just that she was a girl but I was so more connected to her that everything had to be perfect and it meant so much more.

The soft smell of peaches and lavender fell over me as her hand fell over my eyes. I let my hands wander up upon hers, a soft smile upon my anxious face.

'Nobara,' I whined spinning around to see her blushing face,

She was a person to wear her emotions on her sleeve; while she tried to hide it I could tell even she was anxious. I wrapped my arms softly around her before letting my hand fall into hers, gripping her hand tightly as she looked up and down. Her eyes sparkled and her blush grew stronger as she looked away trying to keep her composure.

'I thought it was casual wear and you look like you've just gotten out of a magazine for something.'

I looked at her and gave her a smile, I placed a kiss upon her cheek and pulled back away from her. She was too sweet, in reality I thought she looked like more of a model than me.

'Kugisaki-' 'Nobara-' 'Nobara, you know you don't have to compliment me all the time.'

She looked away flustered pulling me towards the large restaurant, on the fourth floor of a multi floor restaurant. It was expensive but Nobara insisted that she did this plus pay for it all though I told her I'd give her money no matter what.

I watched her phone go off the charts as it continued to ring, I watched her bring it up to her face, turn it on silent before completely turning it off and placing it back into her pocket. The amount of growing phone calls from her classmates was worried some, something must have been wrong.

'Nobara, you should ring them. I wouldn't mind.' she always had it her way,

Her hand played with my cheek, telling me it was fine. Though I didn't want to believe her I had to. I pulled her towards the table; the two of us sitting upon the table amidst a crowd of fancy rich adults. Her eyes nervously flickered, the world didn't accept two females so all eyes were all us. I reached across through the plates and glasses grabbing her hand.

'Why do they have to stare like we're some extinct species.' she growled,

I rolled my eyes and smiled, 'They're hating because they ain't us.' I watched her giggle, 'the only thing that matters is us.'

I let go as her hand left mine replaced by the knives and forks as the mains came. Her voice was so sweet in my ears I could hear anything from her lips and I would simply be in awe. Though none-curse users weren't supposed to know about jujutsu high as such yet she couldn't help but let it slip; it was sweet how close she was to her classmates and her teacher.

'So, is that what you've had to deal with? That's so scary!' I smiled,

Her face reflected the same smile mine did yet it quickly fazed out both worried and expressionless. I gave her a soft head tilt, confused. I want to ask her more as I fumbled with my fork along with my food.

'Nobar-' 'Y/n! Run!'

Her feet kicked the legs of my chair sending me hurdling back till my head hit the ground. I sat dazed for a while, but the screams were more than horrifying. My head raised as I stared upon Nobara yet my eyes went towards the horrific creature first.

'Y/n run!' she screamed, punching a few of the monsters that seemed to grow in numbers all the time.

I looked at her and nodded, she had enough to deal with the curses. She didn't need to worry about me either. I sprinted down towards the third floor slipping upon the creature, my heel going straight through its head bursting it in half. The staircase was broken, especially the pillars to the banister; there were too many curses for her to handle alone, especially without her hammer. I ripped one of the easy pillars out, holding it tightly in my hand; whack a mole would be better than this. But I won't let her be alone fighting.

'This sucks!' I shouted, watching the pipe go through its entire head but did nothing in return.

'Nue!'

I watch a bird swerve around the ceiling before killing all of the curses on the floor. I dropped the pipe and let out a comfortable breath, my knees twinged as I fell to them in frozen fright that had been prolonged. I felt a soft hand on my shoulder, it was cold and unable to feel human though I tried to bring in comfort.

'Are you okay, miss?' his hair was jet black, his eyes cold trying to give comfort,

'Nobara.'

I looked up at him before sprinting up the staircase. I dodged deceased curses and broken tables and decorations, she stood in the middle her heart almost beating out of her chest. She was more than pissed off staring at the curses, yet it changed.

'Nobara!' I screamed running towards her, my arms wide as I took in her body. She squeezed me tight as she spun me around stopping when her eyes met the boy who had asked if I was okay.

'You just had to ruin my first date all of you!'

I watched their guilt riddled faces, Nobara let go of me. Her pointer finger pressing firmly on their chest telling each one that it was their fault the date was ruined, yet it wasn't. It would be my last first date and my favorite one; it was perfect and had a mix of fun and horror with it too.

'Nobara~' I cooed, wrapping my arms around one of hers, cuddling her softly as I stared upon what I guessed were her classmates she spoke so fondly of, 'Even though it didn't go to plan this was the best date I could have asked for.'

Her face turned away, flustered, grumbling to her teacher as if she could bring me back to the grounds of the school in which he was allowed. They walked in front of us chirping towards the train station, I pulled her to stop her.

'Hey Nobara, do you mind?'

I looked away bashfully yet saw her soft nod. I let my hands hold hers, slightly shaky as I lent in for my first kiss. Her lips were silky soft, stuck to one another by lip gloss and the soft smell of strawberries that fell over her; sweet intoxication. I pulled back and saw the crowd of phones flashing and videos by her friends.

I watched her almost belt their heads in with her hammer, I looked away embarrassed knowing I would be in for it when I reached their school.
