"Nothing!" You shouted, eyebrows raised and your face scrunched up as you glared at one of the serving receptionists who gave ninjas their missions. He gave you a frightened look before he gave you an answer that wouldn't anger you anymore than you already were. "Sorry y/n, unfortunately no one needs a ninja today..." you nodded your head, agreeing to what he had to say. Before you slunk away to find something meaningless to do today you heard a familiar voice have the same reaction as you. You turned your head to see Naruto getting smacked on the head by one of the older receptionists, you gave him a snicker before wandering towards him as he spotted you.

"You got the same news huh?" Naruto glared at you as you gave him a smirk which only pissed him off. He nodded his head before his mood changed and he was back to his normal giddy self, "Hey, Y/n... " he paused for a moment as you gave him your attention "You wanna go to Ichiraku for some ramen?" you gave him a glare fully knowing what he was going to say. "Are you going to ask for me to pay for it?" His face went pink and he nodded his head as you wandered how empty his infamous toad wallet must be. You let out a grumble, "Fine... let's go." you couldn't help but smile as his was infectious.

The two of you arrived after a long trip that would usually take little to none but Naruto decided to piss off some dog which led to a long chase around the back roads but you finally made it without a scratch. The two of you took the middle seats as Teuchi gave the two of you a big smile. "Two large servings of miso ramen with roasted pork fillet!" Naruto gave you a smirk as he scratched the back of his neck while you gave Teuchi your money. The two steaming hot bowls of ramen were placed on the bench in front of you two, Naruto handed you a pair of chopsticks before the two of you bowed before the two of you began to dig in. You placed your spare hand on the bench yet it took him a while before Naruto placed his hands on top of yours.

You didn't say anything, it was his first move he had ever made for you and you found it rather cute. You paused eating for a moment seeing that he was giving him the bowel a sad look like he wanted to slurp it up but couldn't because he had one hand to use since his other one was on top of yours. "What's wrong?" he opened his mouth knowing that you could see through his lies so he just told you simply. "I want to hold your hand but I want to drink the last bit of my ramen..." You gave him a sideways glance before laughing at his stupidity. "You can just let go drink your ramen and then hold my hand." yet he still looked sad. You watched him move like the flash as he let go of your hand slurping down his ramen before he grabbed your hand once again.

You shook your head as the two of you said goodbye to Teuchi and headed towards your house hand-in-hand. You could tell he was giddy yet you knew that your house was just around the corner and the two of you would have to split up yet the two of you kept talking about silly things from your childhoods together. Naruto stopped just outside of the gate to your house, his cheeks dusted pink as he stared at you, "I've had a great time with you y/n... I want to have more days like this if that's alright." you couldn't help but blush as well. You let go of his hand as it snaked up his body and to the side of his cheek you inched forward like you were going to kiss his lips and even he was ready for you two kiss him.

Yet instead of kissing his lips you kissed his nose seeing him pout as you moved back from him. You gave him a smile, "See you next time Naruto!" you smirked letting go of him you walked towards your gate pushing open he gave you a chuckle. "Next time your paying!" You watched him stand there shocked for a moment before he smiled, giving you a wave before the two of you parted ways from one another hoping the two of you will get another ramen date soon.
