Muzan Kibutsuji X Reader

This period was filled with tyrants and foolish leaders like your father. He was a foolish tyrant that crumbled enemies at his every word yet it was never him doing it. He was a weak ruler, his every move was done with ties to the demon race. A traitor to his own kind, his whole body belonged to him.

The wind snapped in a particular way; unusual to its usual soft touch. The glow of moonlight touched the skin of a man who desperately needed to meet his demise sooner than later. His suit was a tad unusual compared to the much traditional era pieces worn around the palace. The white hat fell upon his head and a joint with the black hat band still sat upon his head as if it was hat weather.

'May I be of assistance, maiden?'

You thought of the small spot, behind one of the large beams upon the small walkway between one part of the house to another. Guess the weight of white fabric you were wrapped up in by servants of the house. You slowly crawled from your hiding spot, a crack on the steps, a small creak as it took your weight. Your steps soft yet slowly disappeared into the grass until you stood closer than you've ever been to the monster that lurked around the place so often.

'What, are you?' perhaps the blunt question wasn't what he liked yet it was what you desperately desired 'You no longer a man-'

He shuffled uncomfortably in his seat, staring upon the vague distance until his eyes met yours when he turned around.

'But I am.' 'But you're not!' you shouted back, a blood curdling rage at the tip of your tongue 'You're no longer human when you commit such heinous crimes unspeakable to say the least.'

You adjusted your kimono, falling off your shoulders in retaliation to your father's desire to keep you innocent for the upcoming ties. He had noticed your hand curled around the fabric still tight at your unheldback rage. He patted the seat beside him yet you didn't dare to move.

'What is it maiden, are you scared of me?'

'No,' you said, fazed, contorted in a mix of feelings between anxiety, fear and a chilling sensation of curiosity. 'And stop calling me Maiden- in light of the well- circumstances.'

In fact he wasn't particularly a stranger any more. In offer for undying protection, and power you were placed in as a token a small price to pay, however the price for you was marriage to a monster like Kibutsuji. You weren't a maiden any more, no longer an unmarried woman now soon to be a married woman.

'Then what shall I call you, Maiden?'

You crept forward, taking a seat beside him yet you kept your distance. You could feel his eyes suffocate you, star into your soul as you turned to star in the opposite direction like a mindless prey to a deadly predator.

'My name,'

'Y/n~' his words were soft and felt uniquely uncomfortable just to hear them, something you'd have to deal with in honor of your father.

Your hands slipped into your lap, you tried to ease yourself into the situation between you and your future husband. There was soft silence as his hand reached yours as his enwrapped around yours you let it happen. It was peaceful, yet you couldn't let yourself go for a moment, your head softly laid upon the males shoulder.

'So what am I?' he stopped and paused, letting the silence sink in, your lips parted as the words came to mind before you began to speak.

'Demon!' he lurked in front of the two of you,

The black uniform was obviously a slayer of sorts, the sword he wielded in his hands began to shake furiously in his hands. He stood up immediately, hand still in hand with yours staring down at the eye of the sword.

'My Y/n~ run off while I deal with this.' there was a touch of evil in his voice, you nodded and let go of his hand

You weren't to see a man being a monster, your feet turned yet the slayer lunged towards you. Sword still shaky, brow still sweaty. You wanted to shriek, dared to yet nothing could come out. In a swift move he was thrown as far as the entire prefecture. His arms slowly entangled around you like a prey caught in a spider trap, you didn't want to leave.

Fear cuddled you soothed you, his arms soft like a twisted warmth that you couldn't help but sink into. Your face shoved deeper and deeper into his jacket till you could breathe nothing more than the soft smell of his delight. You stared up at him, intoxicated by an unknown assailant. In the swift moment between your eyes caught sight of his burning eyes, seeing them ease under your pressure.

You knew he was pure evil. Perfect enough you desire to be protected, be safely guarded and placed on a high shelf to never catch dust. He wasn't a human, he was a man with dark desires like a spider. You were a fly caught in his web to suffocate for all eternity, till death do you part...ย
