Days off weren't as usual as you'd think, especially for Jujutsu Kaisen students. There were always minor curses that needed to be dealt with and most of the higher up sorcerers were busier with higher curses and curses didn't wait for students to have a day off either. I stared into the distance, the bustling people began to blur into blobs of colours as I stared at nothing in particular.

'Y/n?' He whispered,

'Hmm?' I let out a mumble of incoherent words,

I slowly turned my head before my eyes followed, the piercing blue eyes mixed with the stoic looked I couldn't help but let my cheeks go a pinkish colour till I had to look down upon the black jumper that loosely hung to his frame.

'Just- stay with me okay.'

I gave him a nod, as the rest of the group spoke. Maki was arguing with Panda about his disguise which consisted of a Hawaiian themed shirt and a woven hat he bought at the convenience store to blend in. Megumi held my ticket and I guess I was too out of my mind when Maki gave them to us all.

'Guess will have to split up if the cart gets full.' Maki grumbled, 'Panda, stay with Megumi and Y/n on the train and we'll meet in central.'

Panda walked in front of both Megumi and I, the station was busy and I wasn't really one for crowds. I grabbed his hand. I squeezed it gently, as I looked away finally caught up to him. He held it in return and as we got to one of the workers, Megumi handed them over.

'You two boyfriend and girlfriend?'

My face went red. The woman stayed dumbfounded, smiling.

'Yes.'

Megumi continued on, dragging me behind him.

'Why did you say that?' my lip quiver, I couldn't keep a straight face, couldn't even stare at him so I kept my eyes upon the ground.

'It's much easier explaining things.'

The train pulled up beside Panda, as he boarded. He took the last seats and both Megumi and I sat beside him. The seat was squishy especially when Panda took up two seats by himself. My entire body was pushed against Megumi's whole body. His arms that were placed folded in his lap quickly one as placed around my body pulling me further into him.

It wasn't a long trip, I made it with no worries of anyone finding out Panda was an actual Panda except for a little boy who I told him to keep it a secret. I wandered out with Megumi following right behind, his hand crawled to my back holding me gently and guiding me around.

'Where did Panda and that go?' I looked in front of me, and the once animal that stood there vanished into what felt like thin air.

I saw the partial faint smile when I said so it turned into a frown when the screams of our names became louder and the images of the group became clear. His hand disappeared off my back and he stood idle by. Maki took my hand, and dragged me off beside her knowing I'd get lost in some random place.

I snuck out of Maki's grip and ran across the road and pressed my hands against the window panel. Megumi followed me over as I kept my eyes glued to the small puppy in the window.

'Megumi.' I hummed,

I turned my head towards him with a slight tilt to the side. 'Do you walk the divine dogs?'

He stared at me like I said something stupid, 'no.'

I cupped both his cheeks and pulled him down to eyesight, my eyebrows knitted furrowed in slight anger. His hands against my own.

'Megumi,' I whined, 'As much as they're your tools they're dogs too, you need to treat them like it so they'd be able to create stronger bonds with you.'

He looked away quickly, as I took my hands off as we joined back to the group.

My head rested against the metal pole of the second carriage. Everyone else was in another cart split up from both me and Megumi. He stood behind me making sure no one dared to look up my skirt. I turned around to stare at him with a smile.

The people bustled and one pushed my side, catching me off balance and landing smack bang into Megumi. An arm wrapped around me, the other firmly gripping the pole. I couldn't help but blush leaning up. I placed a kiss upon his cheek.

Arms snuggly wrapped around him until it was time to go. I walked off and waited for him just outside the door. I smiled at the group ahead, Megumi's hand slipped against mine and I felt a small object and as I caught it when he walked in front of me.

'Megumi.' i grumbled his name,

I pulled my hand up to stare at it and my breath caught in my throat. I wanted to gulp but I couldn't as my eyes stayed wide. The small intricate details in gold upon the circular button and I knew straight away it was the button off his school shirt; the second one from the top- closet to the heart.

It was a shy way of asking a girl out, giving them the second button from the top on your uniform. I looked up to Panda who was smiling and I could tell Maki was making Megumi embarrassed on the downlow.

'Hey y/n, hurry up before someone runs into you.'

I placed the button in my pocket and ran towards the group, my hand entwining with Megumis and his head kept away from my own hiding the bright pink blush upon his cheeks. I snuggled into his arm as we continued to walk ahead.

'Hey Megumi, do you need your button back or do i keep it?'

There was a long pause before realization hit the rest of everyone;

'WHAT?!'
