Armin Arlet X Reader

'There's my scaredy cat!' a gleamed, slapping his back as I squeezed myself between him and another survey corp member, sitting upon the table staring down upon him.

He was quite unflattered by the way I referred to him, his eyes averted my own and even though his face was annoyed it was still flustered; the way it is every time I found him in the same room as myself.

'Y/n.. I'm not a scaredy cat, why do you call me that?'

I looked down upon him with a brimming smile, his eyes snapped to mine when he was in the midst of his anger yet averted as if he had hurt my feelings which he didn't but still a cute characteristic he had.

'Do you think it's a bad characteristic?' I questioned him,

His eyes slowly met mine, lip quivering, things with him seemingly didn't change.

'No well- yes.'

I could help but giggle at him. My hand covered my lips as I cackled till my eyes brimmed with tears and his face snapped away in embarrassment as if his answer was wrong. I looked away blushing still giggling as I stared upon the faces of everyone else eating a meal as if it would be their last.

'It's actually a compliment. To feel fear means you care; you'll do anything to keep yourself and your comrades safe. It also means you focus upon the situation, Armin- which makes you one of the strongest soldiers here. Not because of your physical strength but because of your mental.'

I had never seen the boy's cheeks go the color of freshly spilt titan blood. His head bent down, eyes wide staring upon the fabric of his pant leg. His hands gripping the pants tightly till veins popped from the flesh in perfect intricate detail.

'Thanks Y/n...'

His eyes darted up as I stood up and walked towards the doors towards the sleep quarters yet he stood me.

'Are you ever scared?' he questioned,

I turned around and nodded softly. He had a beautiful blue eyes and I pushed back his blonde hair letting it stick up within my fingers,

'All the time, but you can't let it affect you.'

His eyes darted back down the sweet innocent softness that was usually stripped away at a young age slowly disappeared returned with a coldness as if he had hyped himself up.

'Can you promise me something Y/n?' he shouted, as if he had to think about the words extra hard before they came out,

I stared softly upon his cute face, it had grown so mature in the years but still he had such childish characteristics, 'Yeah go on.' I smiled,

'When this is finished.' he paused before quickly averting his gaze, 'I want to get married to you!'

I let my lips gap in shock, face tomato red burning so bright I could probably be used as the ship's light. I gave him a soft smile, leaning closer towards his ear.

'I'll marry you too.' I paused and stared upon his neck placing a soft kiss upon it watching his eyes shut and his lip quiver in pleasure.

I leant back and stared at his face, 'Well I'm not waiting that long for a honeymoon, how about one right now.'

I grabbed his hand and smirked deviously at him, 'Y/n.' he shouted running behind me as I tugged him along, 'Y/n!' there was a soft silence as the door closed before he shouted,

'Y/N!'ย
