"WOO! Guess who can finally see again!" You cheered as you pulled out the chair next to chigiri, settling down beside the pretty male.

"L/n, i'm glad you're alright." The pink haired boy smiled, nodding at you.

"ah of course, something as silly as getting alcohol in my eyes would never be able to put me down!" You said proudly, completely ignoring the way you were screaming and crying in pain back then...

"Heh, right." Chigiri mumbled to himself, luckily you didn't hear him.

Slouching slightly in your seat, you pulled your legs up to sit crisscross applesauce with your elbows resting on each side.

"Well I suppose it's time for me to ask... what are we doing today?" You weren't sure how much you missed out, but hopefully not too much.

"Oh actually there's a small assessment today, just to gauge our understanding and fluency in Japanese." Chigiri pointed out seemingly a little unsure of himself too.

Just as he finished talking, your teacher came in. And sure enough, they were holding a neat stack of printed papers.
After a short explanation on the 'assessment', the papers were passed back.

(Sometimes I forget that the characters are still speaking japanese but i'm just writing it in english. Like I get all confused and stuff for a moment.)

"Ha, it was but a walk in the park!" You flaunted.

"mhm, totally." It was lunch and you were sat squashed between Bachira and Chigiri. Kunigami and Isagi were seated opposite you.

"Speaking of, why did they make us all take an assessment all of a sudden? It's not exam period yet..." Isagi questioned.

You found it a bit weird too, I mean you wouldn't exactly say you're an expert in that language. But your parents did make you read and write it every single day as a child.

"Maybe there'll be a transfer? Y'know, from a school elsewhere. I mean it's happened multiple times before... so why not?" You shrugged, providing the group with a good point.

"Oh, right. But wouldn't the teachers mention something beforehand?"

"Yeah, it seems a little sudden too."

"Agreed, the school year just started..."

"Mhm or maybe it's just a sick joke to get us all stressed and anxious for nothing." You tried to lighten the mood.

"Doubt it."

"No way the school would do that."

"Sounds fun, who do you think was behind it?!"

Scratching the back of your neck, you tuned out the sound of your friends discussion. Not that anyone else knew but you may have eavesdropped on a conversation between some teachers earlier, talking about a possible exchange program.

"Uh oh, it's almost time for our next lesson. Come on l/n, let's go!" Bachira stood up happily, taking your wrist and dragging you away much to the others protests.

Food and Consumers education wasn't your best subject. No, not at all. Not even a little bit. The only thing you knew was to make was toast and reheat food... pretty pathetic.

*pmph!*

Whipping your head around with your hands still mixing, your alarm was answered with a white faced and sneezing bachira who had somehow gotten flour all over himself.

Giving him a pointed look, you put your things down, rushing up to him. "Bachira Meguru! What are you doing?" Taking the empty bowl away from the poor boys hand, you rushed to dust and pat the flour off of him. The teacher had also approached, giving a talk about kitchen rules and so.

"ahaha... my bad!" Bachira beamed at you with a close eyed smile.

Even if you tried, you could never get mad at this ray of absolute sunshine.

ahh how troublesome.

Narrowing your eyes at the blonde boy with pink streaks standing in front of you, you couldn't help but get annoyed at his antics. He had originally approached you to apologise but it has been long since he strayed away from that topic.

"...i'll pass." You raised a hand to stop him from saying anymore.

"Huh? You can't pass on an opportunity like this, see i'm offering to take you out for a meal— as an apology of course." Shidou retaliated, feeling offended that you had turned him down.

"That's great and all but i'm not interested, i'll pass." Shooting him a half assed smile you quickly took your chance to slip away from the scene.

The hallways were pretty crowded as everyone rushed to find their friends or go back to their dorms. Well it was a Friday, so surely people are excited to finally leave and relax.

Squeezing through a group of people, you called out to the brunette who was standing at her locker. Catching her attention, she waved at you as you walked over smiling.

"Wanna go out for dinner again?" You questioned the girl who was busy rummaging through the metal locker.

"For sure, let's get sushi."

Nodding your head, the two of you made your way back to the student dorms agreeing to meet again outside in an hour.

"Rin," you acknowledged the green haired boy who was doing his homework. "do you have practice again today? Oh well i'm going out for dinner with Anri. If you need me to bring some food back for you just text me."

"I don't need your food." He brushed you aside coldly.

"mhm," You ignored his attitude.

That's just the way he was, you understood. He doesn't necessarily goes out of his way to be rude to others. It's just that he has the worst socialising skills known to mankind. Terrible actually.

"Ahh that was amazing!" You talked about the food.

Anri and you walked side by side aimlessly through the shopping mall. It was pretty crowded, being dinner time.

"Hey y/n, there's a new cinema upstairs, wanna go watch something? I'll pay for your ticket." Anri pointed at the poster of a new movie screening.

"!!" You glared back at the person who bumped into your shoulder.

"hm? oh, sorry..." They mumbled, disappearing into the crowd.

Choosing to ignore him and not let the small problem ruin your night, you walked over to Anri who had just finished buying the tickets.

"here's yours, wait there's something on your shoulder." Reaching out a hand, Anri plucked the folded piece of paper which was taped on your clothes.

Raising a brow, you curiously opened it.

XXX-XXXX-XXX
you're cute,
text me.

"ooh well looky here!" Anri teased.

You blushed slightly at her words, not really knowing what to do. It must have been the person who bumped into you, whatever you'll deal with it later. Right now, there's a movie the two of you need to watch.

A/N: I'm gonna be completely honest,
I usually write these chapters last minute
and just publish it. Like I just can't be
bothered to plan or write a few chapters
beforehand.
