You swore you saw the gateway to heaven after climbing the horrific amount of stairs there were. Honestly if there wasn't anyone here you would be heaving and panting like a mad dog.

Bringing your phone up to your face, you quickly replied to your ever so worried parents letting them know that you won't be late for your first day. I mean, how could you be late? You literally have to live on campus!

Making sure to take a seat at the very back of the class, you pulled out your textbook, ready to doodle the year away with silly little drawings.

"ahem, is this seat taken?" A smooth voice pulled you out of your trance.

Oh a pretty girl.

Shaking your head, you pulled the seat out for her.

Hehe i'm so cool..

Giving you a small smile and thanks, you turned your attention back to the messy scribbles of circles and lines.

After a very confusing and awkward conversation, (mostly you going crazy) you finally let go of your 'accusation'. Huffing out a defeated sigh, you recollection your things preparing to go to your next lesson.

"...I really hate chemistry..." You muttered to yourself but miraculously Chigiri had heard you.

Walking side by side, you had made some small talk with the boy, the both of you sharing an immense hatred for chemistry. The two of you had soon went into light banter about the school layout, agreeing about the ridiculous amount of stairs. (Though it was mostly you, because y'know chigiri's more athletic)

"I... don't think that's what you're supposed to do." You could hear the disappointed sigh that accompanied Chigiri's statement.

You took a step back from the lab table, looking at the murky solution that bubbled and fizzed. (y'know for plot convenience)

You gave him an awkward laugh backing away even more. Most of the class was looking at the two of you, whispering amongst themselves while others backed away.

Your teacher who had been previously preoccupied finally took notice of the weird smell and noise coming from your table. She had a concerned look in her eye before yelling at the two of you to move away.

"BOTH OF YOU, GET BACK!"

Hearing the crack of the glass, you instinctively pulled your arm up to shield your face, squeezing your eyes shut. A sudden weight against your shoulder pushed you down, both of you crashing into one of the lab chairs.

Opening your eyes again, you tilted your head to see Chigiri being the one who pushed you. The two of you were in a somewhat awkward position with you lying under him and his head close to your chest. Averting your gaze to hopefully make this a little less awkward, you brought your attention to the dark liquid that was now dripping down the side of the table.

ahaha... oops

Noticing that your partner was still on top of you, you cleared your throat to hopefully signal him. Chigiri, only now realising that he had been lying on top of you promptly removed himself from your body, a light blush coating his cheeks as he refused to meet your gaze.

I don't have a fixed day to update this story
but it's usually once a week.
Also I know this is short but i'm trying
to introduce the love interest for part one first
before moving on with the story.
