Promp: you and Izuku are in quarantine, but what happends if your husband the number one hero doesn't have anytime for you?

Quarantine life is boring.

You were bored out of your mind.

Even though we were all forced into quarantine you thought Izuku could relax a little, he's been so busy and stressed before the goverment said we have to stay home due to the virus.

But that wasn't the case.

You couldn't blame him, he was the number one hero afterall. You hated seeing your husband like this. You always saw his behind his laptop typing furiously or see him train non-stop, sometimes he needed to go outside if their was a villain attack.

Luckly there weren't many villain attacks so Izuku would always be working in his little office in the apartement we shared.

Always isolated from the world.

Always Isolated from you.

It was currently evening. You were cooking dinner as your husband sat by the kitchen island with his laptop, his full attention on the screen. You were kind of sad, normally we would cook together and talk about are days or about the old days when you went to U.A together.

But you understood that he had other things to worry about. You didn't really wanted to say anything either because you didn't want Izuku to feel guilty for not spending a lot of time together. He already was under a lot of pressure and you didn't want to add even more pressure on the poor broccoli man.

You were cutting up some vegetables but suddently you heard a phone ringing. You glanced over to the source of sound.

It was Izuku's phone. He picked up his phone and started talking, you heard his voice change from a happy tone to a worried tone. This worried you causing you to look over at Izuku who stood up from his chair as his fingers combed through his hair.

He hung up and ran as quickly as he could to your shared bedroom. A few seconds later he was already zipped up in his hero suit.

"W-where are you going? What's going on!?"

"A villain attacked. I have to go angel, take care" Izuku grabbed his phone off the kitchen island

"Stay safe, I love-"

Before you could finish your sentence you heard the front door slam shut.

"..You...."

You sigh as you put the vegetables in the pan.

Your smile dropped as you stared at the frying pan that was cooking the vegetables you putted in not so long ago.

Time skip

You were finally done with cooking you just needed to make the Rice and then you're done.

"Hunny dinner is-" You stopped yourself, you completely forgot that he wasn't there. It's always been quiet since quarintine. Sure you guys talked a bit before we went to bed and cuddled but that was the most interaction you had with him in a day.

You grabbed two chopsticks and two bowls and putted it with a light thump on the table as your eyes filled with determination.

When he gets back you're going to say that he wont have dinners in his office anymore. You just wanted him to not stress about every single little thing. The last time you both had a meal together was a while ago and you were sick of eating dinner alone in front of your tv while Izuku was in his office.

It doesn't matter how long you had to wait for him to come back. You just want to be honest with your feelings towards him.

So you started to wait for him...

You waited

And waited....

After a few hours you fell asleep at the table with the two chopsticks in you're hand.

Izuku's p.o.v

I didn't know it was going to take so long to get that villain arrested.

I couldn't wait to go home and snuggle up against my angel. I used my quirk to get home faster. When I opened the front door of my shared apartement with (Y/n) and walked in I saw (Y/n) sleeping on the dinner table with two chopsticks on my hands.

On the table there were two bowls filled with katsudon...

My favorite...

Guilt started to built up inside of me. How long did she wait? She knows that there was a possibility for me to come home late and she still waited? Why?

I looked for more reasons of why she didn't just eat and gone to bed.

And then it finally hit me...

When was the last time we had dinner together, movie nights together or hugging sessions with eachother?

That was quite a while ago...

I feel like I'm the worst husband ever.

I walked over to her and carefully carried her in bridal style. When I was halfway towards the bedroom the two chopsticks that she held onto fell on the wooden floor.

I froze as I felt her head burying it further in my chest. She smiled in her sleep that made my heart squeeze a bit.

"I...missed....u....i-izukuwu~" (Y/n) mumbled before drifting back into her dreamworld.

I blushed as I putted her gently on the bed. I went back to the kitchen and put the meal in the bridge for tomorrow. I went back to the room and changed into my nightwear and hugged her.

"I love you so much angel. I'm sorry that we haven't had time to do thing together. Tomorrow I'm going to make pancakes and have some quality time together..." I whispered and kissed my angel on her forehead before drifting into the darkness.
