Chapter 2: Some myths are real

When the teacher walked in the room, she automatically made Lee-Ah introduce herself in front of the class.

"Hello I'm Jang Lee-Ah-"
Soyeon scoffed and glared at her.

"You're just pretty, nothing more to it."
Lee-Ah just glared at her with her deadly glare as Soyeon shrank in her seat a bit.

"Try and Underestimate me bitch. That'll be so much fun for you won't it?"
The class started to clap for Lee-Ah as she started to walk back to her seat. But she stopped at Soyeon's seat first.

"Look I'll say this once and only once, you are either on my side, by my side, or in my fucking way."
Lee-Ah looked at Soyeon's name tag.

"Chose wisely Jeon Soyeon, or this year will be a living hell for you."

Soyeon tried to look okay but she gulped instead and stared at the wall.

Heeseung just sat there confused.

Earlier her eyes looked so sweet and reassuring. But she gave me shivers down my spine just now. I like her even more. I need to get to know her.

At lunch Heeseung sat down at his usual table with his six best friends. Soon guys started sitting at Lee-Ah's table. Heeseung held his breathe and tried to look away but he couldn't help it.
The six other noticed his hand forming into fists.

"I'm going in."
He stood up and sat next to Lee-Ah not speaking.
The five other guys glared at each other waiting for one to get up and leave. About ten minutes it was just him and Hyuk left.
Lee-Ah pushed her tray in front of her and watched the glares of the two boys.

Hyuk's glare was scary and all but Heeseung's glare was super intimidating. It made even Lee-Ah scared. Hyuk eventually grabbed his bag and left when the bell rang. Lee-Ah sighed in relief.

"God, that was intense."
Heeseung's eyes softened as he turned to look at her.

"Hi, I'm Heeseung. Lee Heeseung."
He put his hand out and Lee-Ah shook it.

"Jang Lee-Ah."
Heeseung smiled brightly as for Lee-Ah just smiled lightly.

"What's your next class?"
Lee-Ah gave him her schedule and he looked at it.

"Oh you have science!"
Heeseung stood up and grabbed his bag.

"I'll walk you there."
Lee-Ah thanked him as they walked down the senior hallway.
When they arrived Lee-Ah was confused why he didn't follow to the door because he had science too.

"Are you coming?"
Heeseung chuckled and shook his head.

"No I have junior science."
Lee-Ah looked at him confused.

"Then why were you in my math class."

"Because I'm above the average class in my grade."
Lee-Ah looked even more confused.

"Hey, don't underestimate me either noona."
Heeseung winked at her as he walked to his science class.

Lee-Ah was too stunned to even move.

Noona?

Lee-Ah sat at her desk in her room after school. She grabbed her mother's diary from her shelf.

Jang Do-Suk is surely my soulmate. When I look into his eyes it feels like an eternity when it's only a couple seconds. He makes me smile without even trying, I can basically read his mind. A lot of people might think I'm crazy for believing in a crazy myth but I feel that if someone that special makes you feel special than it has to be magical.

Suddenly Lee-Ah thought about Heeseung.

"Some Myths Are Real I guess."

Lee-Ah called Xiaoting to come over and her parents immediately dropped her off.

"I think Heeseung is my soulmate. And I think I like him."
Xiaoting smiled her friend and patted her shoulder.

"Well he definitely likes you too."
Lee-Ah paid full attention to her friend.

"I see the way he looks at you."

"How does he look at me?"

"Like your a sexy rubix cube. He can't figure you out quite yet, but he's having fun trying."

Lee-Ah laughed and laid her head on her best friend's shoulder.

"But in all seriousness, some myths are true."
