"BE WHO YOU AREEE!"

Robin's POV:

After two, agonizingly awkward, minutes Bruce finally broke the silence.

"Finney sorry for spying on you. That wasn't cool of us."

"It's ok." Finney said while mixing his milkshake around with his straw.

"BE WHO YOU AREEEEEEE!" Billy randomly yelled.

There was a minute of everyone just staring at him, mouth hung open and eyes wide, surprised at the sudden outburst.

"Billy.....what the fuck." Griffin said.

Everyone burst out laughing, causing Finney to choke on his milkshake. We all were laughing so hard tears started to pour out of Bruce's eyes.

After a minute everyone settled down and ate some of their food. When everyone was finished we paid and got back into the van.

"You excited for me to kick your team's ass in the game today Finney?" Bruce asked turning around from his seat in the passenger side to Finney crammed in the back.

"I forgot we had baseball today!" Finn groaned, "My head hurts so bad, I don't know how I'm going to survive."

"Everyone better be ready for me to pick them up at 2:00 or else I'm leaving without you!" Vance warned while parking in Finney's driveway for him and Robin to get out.

"Yep! Thanks Vance, see you guys then!" Finney said while jumping out of the car, me doing the same.

I followed behind Finney as we walked into his house and up to his room. "Wanna work on math until I have to get ready for baseball?" Finney asked me.

"Sure!" I replied while grabbing my math textbook out of my bag. I always bring it when me and Finney hang out, because he always asks to study at least once every time.

A little while goes by before we have to stop so Finney can get ready. He went into the bathroom to get changed into his jersey. I waited for him, while being sprawled out on his bed, scrolling through Tiktok. When I heard the creak of the bathroom door opening I turned my phone off and grabbed my bag.

"You ready?" I asked him.

"Yeah. Bruce just texted. Him and Vance are here." He responded while grabbing his stuff.

We walked outside of his house and to the big van parked in his driveway. I pulled on the door handle signalling for Vance to unlock it. He complied and Finney and I got in.

"Hey guys, what's up?" Bruce greeted us.

"Nothing much, hey Vance." I said. Vance only grunted in response and Finney giggled at that. Finney's giggle is adorable. If I could have that sound as my alarm, I swear I would.

"Robin," Finney said while swiping his hand in front of my eyes. "You spaced out staring at me."

"Oh, sorry." I apologized as my cheeks heated from embarrassment.

"He looked like he had those cartoon hearts in his eyes!" Bruce laughed while slapping Vance's arm. Luckily Finney was too focused on retying his shoes for the hundredth time since we got in the van, to hear what Bruce said. My phone lit up from a text and I looked down to answer it.

"Griffin and Billy said they saved our seats for us since it's super busy apparently." I read the text from Billy before slipping my phone in my back pocket.

"We're here!" Bruce said excitedly. Vance parked the van and we all jumped out.

"Well I better go find my team now." Finney said to me about to turn around. I grabbed his wrist and turned him back towards me.

"Goodluck out there hermoso!" I said looking him in the eyes. His face turned pink before he ran in the direction of the field, yelling bye over his shoulder.
