2 Years Later

Robin's POV:

I walked across the street and into my favourite coffee shop.

I opened the doors, and was met with the sound of the bell on the door.

"Robin!" a girl yelled from behind the counter. I walked over to the voice, already knowing who it was.

"Gwen!" I responded, a smile taking over my face.

Gwen's job is really close to the university I go to so everyday I stop in for coffee at some point.

"How is everyone?" she asked, while pouring coffee in a to-go cup for me. She hasn't seen any of us in a long time because we've all been busy with university.

"They're good! Griffin and Billy have been inseparable, especially since now they share a dorm room. And it's really annoying considering their room is right across from mine." I said while pulling money out of my pocket.

"I would hate to be you." Gwen laughed while putting the lid on the cup.

"Meanwhile Vance and Bruce have a whole apartment together. And it's really bringing out the fact that they argue like an old married couple all the time." I joked while passing her money for the coffee. She took the money and handed me the coffee in return.

"That sounds just like them!" Gwen agreed.

"So, how's life at the Arellano house?" I asked Gwen.

After everything that happened two years ago, Gwen moved in with my family. My mom and uncle both love her, so it worked out perfectly. Now my family loves her so much they consider her family.

"Amazing! Mom made tamales last night for dinner and they were SO good!" Gwen exclaimed.

"I so wish I was there." I said, before taking a sip of my coffee.

"Robin you're going to be late." Gwen said looking up from her watch.

"Oh shoot, you're right! I'll see you tomorrow and thanks for the coffee!" I called out while running out of the store.

Once I was out of the store, I crossed the street as fast as I could. I ran past someone on the sidewalk, and I almost knocked them over. "Sorry!" I called over my shoulder while keeping up my fast pace. Finally once I made it to the university, I ran inside and into my dorm room. I put the key in, and turned the doorknob.

"Hello?" I called inside to see if anyone was home. When I didn't get a response, I assumed nobody was there. I grabbed my stuff for my next class and ran out of my dorm.

"You're late." Billy scolded while pushing off the wall he was standing against.

Billy and I are both in this class, so we normally walk together. We always meet at the same time but I was running very late today.

"Sorry I had to stop somewhere before I went to the coffee shop." I apologized.

"I totally forgot you were picking that up today! Are you excited?"" Billy asked.

"Yeah, it's happening tonight." I said while smiling fondly.

"Oh damnit, we're so late!" Billy said before sprinting in the direction of the class.

a/n so i realized tonight that i kinda left you on a cliffhanger and forgot about it so this was the best i could do in twenty minutes. i promise the next chapter will be longer!
