Culture

The country of Chen is a very oriental and militarized country. spirituality and affection are not illegal, but fairly socially shunned. Most of it is a widespread military culture, with more lax laws near the ports and more strict laws near the capitol. Every single citizen goes to school and once they leave they must enlist and train in the military before they are allowed to pursue whatever personal goals they have. The military and well-being of the country must come first, and there are laws in place to allow them to manage military life and personal life.

A council aids the ruler in what decisions he should make, most of the time the ruler has the final say unless he explicitly gives council the final decision

Laws:

Any non lethal crime shall be punished with imprisonment and hard labor

Serious crimes are punished with death

Under drills, investigations or Infrastructure work everyone must obey a country wide curfew

Traitors shall be punished with either Severe labor or the death penalty

Fist fights are allowed so long as they are controlled

AWOL soldiers shall be punished with a short imprisonment depending on the severity

Cultural landmark desecration shall be dealt with on a case by case basis

The "society" is illegal and deemed a terrorist group, depending on the severity of the members within it they may be sentenced to life in prison or death

History

One of the oldest countries, it is a monarchy that spans back hundreds of years, only recently taking up the mantle of a militarized nation after a great deal of crime began to plague the country.

No one is very religious as it is not very accepted, but there are a few shrines kept there to keep the history of the country alive.

Dress Style

Very simple, if you are not in your soldier attire you are in simple, Japanese style clothing. Higher ranks have Japanese clothing as well, but far more extravagant.

A very mountainous country, very few plains and not a lot of snow, which makes them all very hardy and durable.

Climate:

Very snowy and cold in most of the country, it becomes more rainy and rainforesty the more south you go.
