The agendered sky, God of the beginning, and father of Maluna and Beterro. Holds far more power than both, but allows them to their own devices until they prove to be detrimental to humanity in the midst of their feuds

The moon and creator of the ocean.

Kind and calm. helpful in dark times as the moon is, but can be unforgiving if crossed. In feud with her her husband/brother Beterro

Beterro:

The sun and creator of the planet and continents. Holds more power than his sister, maluna. Rash, proud, and just. But can be overbearing and far too proud. In a feud with his wife, maluna.

Inferi:

The agendered 'goddess' of the deepest pits of the underworld. Seducer of Orciel and mother of the drakes. Man-made of the vices of the gods.

Of the West and South:

Disendra:

The west, directed by Beterro. She is wild, boyish, playful. But also very emotional and excitable. Is thought to wander the mountains and rescues explorers and hunters alike, but by the time they are able to leave, she usually disappears.

Prefers prayers of parties or food

Kendran:

The south, directed by Beterro. Laid back, shallow, but athletic and smart despite attitude. Seen as an annoying brother by the other regions but can be counted on for advice. Causes horrible droughts or storms when angered, depends on how he is angered

Likes a formal prayer whenever you enter the ocean or do outdoor activities

Of the North and East:

Di'moss

The east, directed by Maluna. Friendly, but cruel. Intelligent but cunning. Be is the brother with a smile and a secret. Prefers worship of a shrine in each home, but do to many in his country being nearly atheist he doesn't bother to enforce it as much anymore. So feared even his sister sees darkness in his heart

Di'ess:

The north, directed by Maluna. Calm, calculated, cold. Emotionless with a prowess over magic and darkness. The creepiest of sisters and leader/founder of the order of the dark gods. The youngest sister, and despite being seen as 'creepy' she is protected by her siblings. Only demands worship during the use of magic by granting her a sacrifice

Gods who originated from Mortals:

Ameino:

The goddess of History and Stories, became a Goddess as she had gained many, many followers due to her kindness and immense power. Though many gods were not very happy about it, and tricked her to sealing the portal to the underworld by sacrificing herself. Wife of Sorin.

Sorin:

God of Peace, one of the first humans to become gods. He spread peace and the message of goodwill, though he rarely fights there are accounts claiming he is a very, very powerful warrior when his hand forced him to fight. The first human Orciel blessed to be a god when the other gods were very young and saw them as his equal. Husband of Ameino.

Faischou:

Once a human girl who was forced to become one of the first vassals for Inferi, but her willpower was too great and allowed her to keep control and power. Eventually she gained enough of her own power that the gods forced her to return power to inferi. Still, she was powerful enough she was given the title of goddess. She met Sorin, who calmed her. They were to be wed before Sorin fell for Ameino and left her. This resulted in a deep seeded hatred for Ameino and the Ameino lineage. The rage caused her to become Goddess of Chaos.

Laruna:

the Goddess of Dragonkin. Became patron for the dragons when the mother of dragons, Inferi, was revealed to be malevolent and chased her children away into the safety of Laruna, a Dragon who became a Goddess soon after.

Creation of the world

In the beginning it was only Orciel, the beginning of everything. In time, he chose to create earth and water, from it sprang forth his two children- Beterro, the god of the land, and Maluna, the goddess of the ocean. Orciel, immediately recognizing the power and intelligent in his two children, decided to leave the world and its creation to them. From there, Beterro created and molded his terrain, creating deserts, mountains, and forests, meanwhile, Maluna focused on the beauty she could provide beneath water, creating reefs, currents, rivers and streams. Eventually, they both began to miss their father, and decided to join him again- Beterro becoming the sun and Maluna becoming the moon. This however, angered Orciel. There may be a beautiful earth, but there was nothing to live in it. He told them they had to finish what they started, so they took turns, sometimes Maluna would be with her father in the sky, and other times it would be the other way around, causing the shift of night and day.

Creation of Humanity, Dragons, and Morphis

Over time, Maluna and Beterro fell more and more in love. the day they were wedded was greeted by a beautiful eclipse as they came together. From it, they had two pairs of twins and a daughter. Both pairs of twins were a brother sister pair- one pair was Disendra and Beterro, and the other was Di'ess and Di'moss. The other sister was a girl named Inferi. The twins were the first humans, and switched mates between themselves, creating a wide variety of humans with different beliefs, personalities, and talents. As time went on, Orciel saw the heartbreak growing within Beterro and Maluna, as their children were human, they would eventually die. So, Orciel killed his grandchildren, created new, celestial bodies for them, and revived them as gods and goddesses. Inferi was less interested in her human siblings, and instead chose to seduce Orciel, which created the first dragons. Meanwhile, once the children became gods and goddesses, they grew attachments to different animals and other creations of their parents, and chose to bless them- giving them the ability to become humans as well as animals so they could communicate with the humans around them. Though it may be a blessing, it unfortunately has caused a great deal of aggression throughout history.
