Country of The Witches: Faischou

Culture:

Women are everything, from great rulers, to magicians. Their religion is very near and dear to them, and the only thing they place above their own lives is the life of their queen- the goddess incarnate. Men are always home-bodies, sex workers, servers and servants, they rarely ever stray, and if a man attempts to harm a woman they are castrated immediately in a humiliating display.

Symbol:

A cracked shield, being held together with a black vine with bloodied red thorns holding it in place, the center holding a portrait of the original faischou with a deadly smile as she rests.

Government:

A religious, matriarchal dicatorship is in state, the queen of the country has absolute power over everything and everyone, though there is a small council of women (at rare instances, men) which provide aid, information, and guidance should the queen need it. The council-as long as it does not go agaisnt the queens wishes- can do as they wish as well.

Laws:

All men are to be treated as servants and cattle, woman hold all dominant positions, but governors and magicians hold more authority over everything, and they cannot be denied what they desire.

Holy maidens are to be taken from all families through the country to be reared as magicians, and even as the next queen.

All those who are from Eirinis- unless they present proper paperwork- are to be executed.

All tourists who leave the designated tourist city- are executed.

All criminals from Eirinis are given asylum in Faischou, and are protected from international law. The only requirement is they are not allowed to steal from the people of Faischou.

If a "civilian" commits a crime, they are executed.

If the queen decides a government figure or a magician has committed a crime- they are instead exiled to Tao, or submitted to terrible experiments.

Stealing fragments is punishable by death.

History:

The kingdom was once incredibly vast, stretching into a large portion of Eirinis. The birth of a goddess within Eirinis caused a great deal of bloodshed and cornered them into less than half of what their country once was. This causes great hatred for the people of Eirinis, especially their mages.

Belief system:

The queen is the goddess, Faischou, reincarnated. All magicians in the countries claim their power from fragments of Faischou which are scattered throughout the world. But the power gained from fragments is barely 1/10000 of the power the queen holds, though if one witch has many it becomes dangerous. The goddess requires regular sacrifices which happen in ceremonies in the Faischou's main temple, where it is said that her first body died.

The tourist town where the darkness of the country is hidden and kept quiet, the laws of substantially stricter there, but it is the most peaceful city as well.

Dress Style:

All people generally dress very salaciously and scantily clad. Even the men expose their assets to please the women.

Terrain:

There is a large mountain area between the shores and the upper half of the country, most of it is forests and fields, but the capitol, and the temple are deep in a grove of mountains, where as the maidens training ground is in a large forest space for better training. The shores closer to the north are more foggy and snow ridden, whereas the largest port town is like a small paradise.
