Wild Dog 42

Coming home to Sage's apartment after work felt so normal. He'd cooked quite a bit the previous night, and after making sure that Blake ate a huge breakfast before he had to leave for work, he took his time helping Sage. The man had been doing better, but still wasn't close to one-hundred percent yet. So, he'd helped him rinse off in the shower, gave him some of the warm oatmeal he'd made with honey and cinnamon mixed in for a light breakfast, and made him take his iron pills before putting him to bed.

Then he left to head to his own job.

Thankfully, it hadn't been a very eventful day, but it had been decently busy, allowing him to keep his mind off of things for a bit as he focused on work.

"Welcome home, master Wyatt," Blake said the moment he walked in the door.

His sweet sub waited patiently as he got the door closed and locked, then slipped off his shoes. Not a second after he'd finished his tasks, a warm hand settled on either side of his face as they gently guided his head slightly downward until his lips could press against Blake's.

Such a sweet man... and he's all mine.

Hearing footsteps behind his love, Wyatt softly broke their kiss in order to look up. Of course, he gladly wrapped his arms around Blake's waist and hugged him to him in the process, though that little hint of jealousy was spurred on from Timmy more than himself.

"Hey babe, welcome home," Sage said in such a scratchy voice that Wyatt immediately began walking toward him.

Blake slipped into the spot at his side seamlessly, then walked an extra step ahead as they got close to help support Sage as he slumped against the doorframe to his room.

"What are you doing out of bed? You're clearly not recovered yet," Wyatt said in a tone of voice that he'd rarely used around Blake.

The younger guy didn't really need a whole lot of ordering around. He was honestly the sweetest, least problematic sub he'd ever had. He knew what he wanted, and if he didn't want him to do something, he said so. Their communication was practically spot on with each other.

Sage allowed Blake to help him back to his bed, but instead of crawling into it, he sat on the edge and looked up at them with puppy dog eyes.

"I just wanted to greet master Wyatt when he got home, too," he said after a few moments of silence.

He then had a little coughing fit, making Blake hurry to the kitchen to grab him a glass of water. His sweet sub even held Sage's hand as the man drank what he was given.

"All better?" Blake asked as he took the empty glass Sage held out.

"Yes, thank you, love," he said, then added, "and thank you for last night. Both of you."

Sage was just looking up at Blake to put a smile with his words when his expression faltered abruptly, but then shifted back to normal the next second.

Hmm?

Wyatt was just about to ask why he was looking at Blake like that when his words got stuck on his tongue.

Looking. He's... actually looking?

Before he could question the impossible, Sage abruptly released Blake's hand and stood up.

"How about pizza for dinner? Blake and I ate the rest of what you'd cooked earlier this morning and I'm craving some pepperoni," Sage said as he walked past him toward the kitchen.

Was I just imagining things?

"Master Wyatt?"

Slowing to a stop just before the entryway to the kitchen where he'd automatically followed Sage, Wyatt turned around.

"Yes, love?"

Blake actually looked a little nervous as he reached forward and took his hand, then seemed to examine it a bit before furrowing his brow in confusion.

Something felt off just now.

Now it was Wyatt's turn to be confused. Blake very rarely spoke into his mind instead of out loud when Sage was around unless he was asking permission to do something.

Did you want to do something? he asked, a little nervous.

When Blake shook his head, Wyatt frowned.

What is it that's bothering you, then? he asked as he tugged Blake into his arms for a gentle hug.

It's not really bothering me so much as I... I don't really know how to explain it, Blake replied, making Wyatt even more curious.

Is it about Sage?

He'd be shocked if it wasn't, considering they were communicating through their minds and leaving the man completely in the dark about the conversation. He wasn't normally a fan of keeping things from other people and talking about them behind their back, but their current conversation didn't seem negative yet, so he'd allow it to continue.

Yes, I think I know why he stares at me sometimes... and why he liked me so abruptly when we first met.

Oh? He hadn't thought much into Sage liking him, honestly. What wasn't there to like about his love?

Tell me?

Blake nuzzled into Wyatt's shirt as he replied.

I think he can see when he's touching me. I don't know how it's possible, perhaps it might have something to do with my own telepathic abilities, but I swear it's becoming more obvious recently.

Wyatt licked his lips as he went back over what Blake was telling him. His best friend since high school, who has been blind his entire life, can suddenly see whenever he touched his man?

It didn't make any sense, but then again, neither did Blake's ability, but that was completely real.

Why wouldn't he tell us about it, though? he finally replied, suddenly feeling a little depressed that it had been kept a secret so well.

I'm not sure. At first I just thought that he was expressive and that he was focusing on his surroundings using sound, but earlier I actually felt something behind my eyes. It was kind of like a faint tingle right when he held my hand. He also looked startled for a second at the time. Of course, this could all be in my head, but I just wanted to ask if you noticed anything strange, too...

He honestly hadn't... until that startled look. Sage had always seemed to be looking at things one moment, then staring past you the next.

I haven't noticed anything besides what you just mentioned. He looked surprised for a moment.

Blake pursed his lips and leaned away and Wyatt immediately allowed his arms to drop from around him.

I'm not sure why he's hiding it, if it's even a thing, but I just wanted to ask if you had seen anything. Perhaps I'm just overthinking things.

"You guys chatting without me, hmm?" Sage said as he walked back into the living room, tucking his phone back into his packet as he moved.

He stopped next to them, then grinned as he reached up to settle a hand against Blake's soft hair.

"You tend to let your thoughts wander when you're tired, sweetheart," Sage said as he gently rustled Blake's hair.

Wyatt watched him far more closely than he normally did, but he still couldn't figure out if he was actually seeing anything, or if he was just that good at faking it after so many years.

"The answer you two are probably waiting for is complicated," Sage said as he turned and wandered over to drop down into one of the recliners.

Wyatt took the other one, then Blake happily climbed into his lap without an ounce of hesitation. He was glad that he was perfectly comfortable being himself in front of both of them. He was also quite content around Blake and Sage, and quickly tugged him closer, then wrapped one arm around his waist while slipping his free hand slightly beneath the waistband of his love's pants.

"The simplest answer I can give you is yes, if I touch Blake, I can see. But, it's a lot more complicated than that, and I'm sorry that I've been hiding it from you guys. It honestly scared the crap out of me when it first happened, and I honestly didn't think that it would ever happen again. Hell, I thought that I'd just had a strange dream, because the image I saw that day had been incredibly blurry and impossible to figure out," he said as he put the footrest up, then leaned back all the way.

"I talked myself out of being weird and trying to make it happen again right away, but that was the main reason why I decided to try and pursue you, Blake. Of course, I fell in love pretty damn quickly after that, but I didn't see anything again, even when we touched. I convinced myself that it must have just been a random fluke."

He paused for a moment as he thought about what he wanted to say next.

"Well, things moved on, but then I found out that the love of my life was also interested in you," he said, making Blake's cheeks redden slightly as Wyatt leaned down and pressed a kiss to one of those adorable cheeks.

"I already knew that Wyatt wasn't the type of dominant who liked sharing his subs, so I honestly considered backing out right away when I knew that he was interested."

He heaved a stressed sigh and licked his lips as he stared blankly up at the ceiling.

"I got greedy, not just because of that strange little instance, but because you actually seemed like a really sweet guy... and I'm sure that you've guessed by now, but I love Wyatt so god damn much, too."

Grinning, Blake tilted his head up where it rested against his chest, making Wyatt lean down and press another kiss to his forehead. He left his lips there far longer than he needed to, but his heart was racing in his chest and his own cheeks might have been tinting red.

"Are you blushing for me, Wy?" Sage said playfully as he turned his head to the side and his blind eyes stared past them.

Wyatt felt his face heat further right before Blake pressed a kiss to his lips. The attention cooled his overheating head, allowing him to think logically about the confession his best friend had finally put out in the open after so many years.

He'd never been blind to it. Sage had only ever really had short trysts with subs here and there, but there had never been a serious relationship.

He always came back to me, grumbling about how this person or that person just didn't get him. Then we'd chill on the couch and eat pizza and ice cream until we fell asleep together beneath the throw blanket. He'd be back to his normal, goofy self the next morning.

He hadn't meant to broadcast that thought, but when Blake moved to sit on the arm of the chair and smiled adorably at him, Wyatt realized that he'd been overheard.

Babe, what do you think of Sage? Blake asked him calmly.

It was a simple question, but at the same time, it was the hardest one he'd ever been asked in his entire life.

I... he...

Wyatt slid his hand through his hair and took a deep breath.

Blake, there's only one thing that's really kept me from being able to see myself together with him once you told me that you would be okay with it...

Blake leaned forward and pressed a kiss to his hair, then leaned back when Wyatt looked up at him.

You're worried about him not willing to budge as a top, Blake thought to him, making Wyatt's face warm more.

Blake leaned forward and wrapped his arms around Wyatt's neck in a tight hug.

You can always back out if you become uncomfortable, Wyatt. And you know Sage. He's a sweetheart and he's been with you for so many years without overstepping your boundaries, right?

He was right. Sage had never tried to push him, even though it had been clear for years that he was interested. They'd gotten close a few times, with the most recent one being when the guy had pinned him down in his own bed in front of Blake, but even that hadn't honestly worried him enough to make him want to distance himself.

I've pretty much ignored the part of him that likes me to keep the friend part at my side...

Blake hugged him tighter.

It's okay to do those things. If he wasn't alright with it, he would have said so or left. He loves you, hun.

Wyatt swallowed down his nerves several times, then gently squeezed Blake's shoulder. It was all he seemed to need to understand. His love carefully got off of the recliner so that he could stand up, then settled back down into it with a grin. Evidently, Blake would not be walking the short distance with him.

You got this, love.

Nodding over his shoulder at Blake, Wyatt steeled the last of his nerves, then finally turned to face Sage.

The man was watching him, but of course, his eyes didn't focus on anything in particular. Just the thought of being able to stay next to Sage and Blake, together within the same relationship made him nearly tear up.

Now that I'm finally faced with this decision, I don't know how I hesitated for so long.

He glanced back at Blake for just a split second. Just seeing the man's smiling face put one on his own.

Maybe we just needed someone to come along and finish tugging us together. Maybe we just needed someone to hold us together.

Returning his attention to Sage, Wyatt calmly walked right up to the man and sat himself on the armrest of the recliner. His weight forced the chair back into an upright position, but Sage didn't seem to mind in the least.

When Sage's hand just-barely settled on his thigh, Wyatt's eyes crinkled as his smile widened as he reached over, himself, to tug the guy's head against his chest in a gentle hug.

My sweet bat.

"May I, love?"

Huh?

Wyatt blinked out of his thoughts to realize that those same, faded gray eyes that had been watching him for years were now focused strictly upon his face. While it was clear that Sage still couldn't see him, his eyes still expressed so much emotion as they stared up at him.

Swallowing another round of nerves, Wyatt lifted his right hand and settled it overtop the one Sage had placed on his thigh, then squeezed gently.

I like him.

He could feel eyes on his back, but instead of making him more nervous, the idea of Blake watching over him made him finally be able to relax.

I like him. I like you, Sage.

Pursing his lips, Wyatt leaned down as Sage tilted his head the slightest bit to the side.

"Yes. I like you, Sage," he said, answering the other man's question while at the same time forcing his confession out before he chickened out.

His best friend had waited years to be able to hear him say those words. He hadn't wanted to delay them another second.

When the man's lips pressed against his a moment later, Wyatt expected the kiss to turn fierce immediately, considering it was between two stubborn dominants, but when Sage's lips began to shiver against his own, Wyatt blinked and leaned away the slightest amount so that he could look down at the man before him.

You're shaking?

Wait. Was he crying, too?

"Love, I'm going to be a mess," Sage said as he reached up and gently grabbed hold of Wyatt's face and brought it back down for another extremely soft kiss.

"I've been dreaming about this moment for so many years," Sage whispered as he continued to pepper nervous kisses upon Wyatt's lips.

I... was no expecting such careful nervousness.

He felt a hint of humor in the back of his mind before Blake responded.

I bet you most of it is relief. Maybe a little stress that you might withdraw right now, too, but you don't seem to mind his attention, right?

He didn't mind it at all.

I really wasn't expecting things to go this way. I thought he'd try to pin me down immediately and make out until I couldn't breathe.

The hint of humor coming from Blake actually dimmed before replied again.

He was worried that you would never give him a chance to love you, and you were worried that he would push you to do something you didn't want to do.

Wyatt licked his lips as Sage stopped kissing him so that they could both get in a bit of air. Looking down at his best friend now, he couldn't believe that they'd both let their insecurities stop them from growing closer.

Finally letting go of all of his hesitation, Wyatt slid into Sage's lap and lifted his arms up to wrap around his love's neck in a comfortable hug. Sage responded immediately, but he was still clearly nervous as his hands just-barely settled against his lower back.

He was just about to ask for the guy to hug him tighter, when he bit his tongue at the sound of Blake's voice in the back of his mind.

Let him handle the situation the way he needs to, hun. Let him get himself under control before you send extra signals.

Grinning, Wyatt unwrapped his arms from around Sage's neck and settled more into the man's lap, then leaned contently against his chest.

Ah, his heartbeat is pounding even though he seems pretty calm on the outside, besides a few nerves.

Closing his eyes as he felt Sage's arms gently wrap around him, Wyatt found a smile slipping onto his lips.

His heart's beating that way for you, master Wyatt.

It was such an odd thought, but at the same time, he loved it.

I'm lying in Sage's arms.

It felt really good.

Do you want to come over here, too? he questioned once they had both settled down comfortably.

I'd love to cuddle with both of you, but right now his attention belongs completely to you. I'll get plenty of love from you guys later. Just enjoy your time with him right now.

Right as Blake finished speaking a quiet knock sounded on the front door.

"I got it," Blake said as he hopped up before either of them could even consider moving.

The smell of fresh pizza wafted through the air as Blake went about getting them drinks after setting the entire box down on the little table between the two armchairs.

No plates, love?

After setting down their three glasses of water, Blake opened the lid and grinned at him and Sage, who had turned his attention to the food, too.

"Let's be a little dirty tonight and just dig in, hmm?"

This man... is the best.

The rest of the evening was spent making an absolute mess of themselves with pizza, cuddling, and watching old movies.

He loved every single second of it, and if Sage's beaming, permanent smile was anything to go by, he'd also enjoyed himself immensely. Especially when Blake finally crawled into the chair with them both, earning immediate kisses as Wyatt made plenty of room for him to snuggle with them.

His sweetheart was the first to fall asleep, too, but that wasn't much of a surprise. After eating a bunch Sage was doing much better, but Blake had just come home from one of his first days of work at a new job. No matter how nice the place was, it would still wear someone out until they were comfortable with everything.

"I can't believe we got so lucky," Sage said quietly as the film they were currently watching lit up his face with different shades of light.

Wyatt stared up at him from where he rested his head on his shoulder, then looked down at the man snuggled up in his arms.

"Yeah, he's amazing," he said as he saw Sage lift his arm that wasn't wrapped around his waist and settle a hand gently atop Blake's soft hair.

Timmy grunted in his mind a little, but settled down as soon as that hand redirected to Wyatt's hair and gave it a pat, too.

"Wanna head to bed? It's getting pretty late," he said as he started moving a bit.

Sage let him do as he pleased, and soon Wyatt was back on his feet with Blake in his arms. He headed for Sage's bedroom without any hesitation, and didn't even worry when he heard the other man following close behind him.

They both got Blake tucked in, then Wyatt tugged his shirt up and over his head, then hesitated when he realized what he was about to do.

I don't usually sleep in my clothing, though... At least, not my shirt. It's super uncomfortable.

"I'm about to pass out. Let's brush our teeth and go to bed, hmm?" Sage said as he calmly walked past him and into the bathroom.

Wyatt waited a few more seconds before nodding to himself and letting his shirt slip from his fingers, then stepping into the bathroom with Sage.

They might have gotten a bit distracted after having brushed their teeth, but eventually they both slid into bed with slightly sore lips. Wyatt slipped in behind Blake while Sage took his front. They then made a sandwich with their love's body between them, comfortably wrapped in their arms.

"Good night, Sage," he whispered quietly, completely relaxed even though he wasn't in his own bed.

"Night, master Wyatt, and our beautiful babe, Blake. Until tomorrow, my loves."

Wyatt nuzzled gently into Blake's soft hair and felt his face warm.

Untill tomorrow...
