Wild Dog 34

I don't think this is how it's supposed to go...

Once Wyatt had finished his shift at work they'd decided to go out and grab some groceries. Except, Timmy evidentially hadn't had enough Blake time yet, and the second the man got home from work his bunny pushed itself out again and ran over to be picked up.

He'd felt the man's frustration at not even being allowed a hug before his bunny took over, but Blake hadn't been able to reprimand Timmy. He was a bunny. A cute, adorable, fluffy bunny that wiggled when it was picked up! How could he dare even think about chastising such an angel?

He's a demon. If he shifts me back in the middle of this store naked I'm going to have Sage shave him later.

Blake fought back a smirk as he tossed a few boxes of mac and cheese into the cart for himself, then continued on to grab spaghetti noodles. He had to move his head pretty slowly, because Timmy had demanded the best vantage point... the top of it.

"Wouldn't he love that, though?"

Nah, he loves petting Timmy. Sage is a super tactile guy. He loves to touch things, and if they're soft, all the better.

Blake nodded his understanding as he moved onto the fruits and vegetable area and stocked up on a lot of different things. Thankfully, they both enjoyed fresh food, and a lot of similar ones, too.

"Here you go, love," Blake said as he snapped off a piece of a long organic carrot he was putting into their cart and held it up to the rabbit settled atop his head.

You're evil. You couldn't have chosen a piece of lettuce or something? Wyatt grumbled as his bunny went to town on the little piece of carrot. His hair was probably going to get messy, but he could just wash it out later. Although, it didn't seem like Timmy was daring to drop even a single scrap of the treat.

He barely ever gets them. He's not going to waste any.

"You monster. Not giving your poor precious bunny carrots," he said as he grabbed another bunch of them and tossed them in the cart.

You... are just as evil as Sage, aren't you? You were hiding it.

Blake immediately wanted to say no take backs but bit his tongue as a sense of panic welled up in his chest.

Things can always change, Blake. We're just going one step at a time with this.

The reminder gave him something to focus on, allowing him to calm down enough to avoid a panic attack. Eventually, he got his breathing under control and heaved out a long sigh of relief.

By this time, Timmy had finished his carrot and was patting his forehead with one little padded paw. Blake grinned at the gesture and reached up, gently taking that tiny paw between his fingers.

"Thank you, Mr. Timmy. I appreciate your help calming me down," he said honestly.

He felt the bunny wiggle a bit from the attention, then started shopping again. By the time they were out of the fruits and veggies aisle their cart was a little more than half full.

Blake stopped at the meat counter next and got a few pounds of ground turkey, some chicken thighs, and a few nice cuts of salmon.

Another couple aisles later and they were stocked up on a few bags of chips and some tea for Sage. To be honest, they had gotten quite a few things with the other man in mind. It made him wonder just how much the two men's lives were intertwined. Wyatt hadn't mentioned him before they'd met up north, but that didn't really bother him.

He could tell that Wyatt wanted to defend his reasoning for not mentioning his friend, but it really was fine. Things had happened very quickly between the two of them. There had been barely any time to think, let alone delve deeper into each other's lives.

"Don't worry about it. You two are close, and that's absolutely fine with me. He's a sweet guy, from what I've seen so far. I'm not upset. Besides, I can handle both of you."

He felt a zip of excited energy come from the bunny on his head and realized his mistake with a dark blush.

"Um..."

He was about to correct his awkward wording, but instead, Blake pursed his lips and shrugged one shoulder.

"You know what, no. I'm not taking it back. I can handle both you guys."

He felt a nervous hint of curiosity in the back of his mind and tilted his head slightly forward until Timmy fell off and flopped down into his waiting arms. The bunny quickly began rubbing its nose with its paws and wouldn't make eye contact.

The gesture was definitely something close to embarrassment, but it also had some nervousness and possibly even a little intrigue mixed in.

I'm getting good at reading rabbit emotions, I think.

When he didn't get any kind of response from Wyatt, Blake settled the man's bunny in the child's seat of the cart, then pushed it up to the check-out register.

Their bill came to quite a bit once it was rung up, but considering he'd been shopping for two full grown men, plus at least a quarter of another, it was reasonable.

Use my card, Wyatt said quickly as Blake pulled out his own.

He didn't really want to, but Wyatt had asked him to use it while on their way there and he had agreed.

Alright

He quickly put his own wallet away and took out Wyatt's from his back pocket, then pulled out his two-sided I.D.. He then handed the side with Timmy's photo on it, as well as the debit card, to the cashier.

The lady looked a bit shocked when she flipped the I.D. over to check that the information matched the card, not that he could blame her. He could also see the look of interest in her gaze when she saw Wyatt's human photo.

"Everything check out?" he asked, wanting to speed the process along.

The young lady had the decency to look a bit embarrassed as she hurried to hand back the two cards.

"Yes, go right ahead."

Blake gave her a fake smile and quickly got their stuff paid for, then headed outside.

Babe...

He knew that he was beginning to pout for no reason, but he couldn't help it!

Blake packed up the car and returned the shopping cart, like a decent human being, then walked back with his bunny in his arms.

He really was trying to calm down, but old habits died hard. Extremely hard, with him, it seemed.

His old master had drilled it into his mind that he was the only man that would ever want to deal with him. Of course, now he knew that he had been lying out his ass, but the damage was still there. Blake had become terribly jealous of anyone who even looked at his master, no matter how many times he was hurt by him.

Now, with Wyatt, he was beginning to see that disgusting side of himself rear its ugly head again.

I don't see anything bad about being jealous over me, love. Believe me, I didn't like it when the young guy at the meat counter looked you over one bit, Wyatt replied, making Blake pause as he sat down in the driver's seat with Wyatt's bunny in his lap.

Wind rustled his hair and the bunny's fur as he thought back through their little trip to the store.

Had that guy been eyeing me?

He honestly hadn't been paying attention to anything besides what he'd needed to buy from him. And besides, he'd had no reason to even take note of it, either, because he already had a a super sweet master, and a possible candidate for a second, if things ended up going that way.

He had been looking at you, and if I hadn't been a bunny, I would have kindly reminded him that you were most-definitely not available.

Blake grinned as he settled Wyatt in the passenger's seat and got his little pink bunny seatbelt harness hooked up properly. The guy really didn't like it, but he also didn't complain about it... more than once.

They drove home in companionable silence, but as Blake got the car parked, he was surprised to see Sage heading toward the stairs. Well, he had been heading toward the stairs until he, evidently, heard their car?

He knows what it sounds like. Can't sneak anything past that crazy bat.

"That's pretty cool, honestly," Blake said as he undid Wyatt's seatbelt, then picked him up and hopped out of the car.

Instead of going straight to the trunk to get the groceries, Blake hopped up onto the curb and gently set Wyatt's bunny in Sage's arms.

"Hold this for me, please?" he said with a grin that Sage would definitely be able to hear in his words.

The man gladly took the little wiggling bunny, and, after only a quick snuggle, Timmy settled down and allowed himself to be tucked inside of Sage's warm trench coat. Only his fuzzy little ears were sticking out near his collar.

"Do I smell a freshly-washed bunny?" Sage questioned with a hint of accusation in his voice as he nonchalantly walked to the edge of the sidewalk and stepped down near the back of the car, following Blake.

Feeling his face warm, Blake quickly handed Sage a few bags of groceries, then grabbed a bunch, himself, before hurrying up the stairs.

"H-he was a dirty bunny," he muttered as he went, not bothering to wait for Sage since the guy seemed to be navigating the stairs perfectly fine on his own.

Blake hurried to drop what he had carefully but quickly in the little kitchen area, then headed right back out the door as Sage was coming in. He could hear the guy's deep chuckle following him out, but he didn't dare look back. He knew that he couldn't see, obviously, but he still somehow seemed to know when he was making him blush!

Before Sage could come back down, Blake had already gotten the rest of the groceries and locked up. The man met him at the top of the stairs, though, and even though he was just nonchalantly leaning against the railing with a lazy smirk on his face, he looked like a damn model.

Instead of making some snide comment or joke, which he was sure the man was expecting, Blake just shifted the groceries he was carrying to his left hand and arm, then took Sage's hand and tugged him back toward Wyatt's apartment.

The moment he got the rest of the groceries set down, he straightened and turned around. He could tell that Sage had been waiting to say something. The guy was now leaning against the door he'd just shut and locked, a little bunny head poking out of the top of his coat as its nose flared in a hurried rhythm.

It's going to be bad, Wyatt warned as Timmy began nibbling at the hem of Sage's coat.

In all honesty, Blake would have been surprised if whatever the guy wanted to say wasn't bad, or corny, or perverted, so when he finally did speak, it was completely anticipated...

"So... what if I want to be a dirty bat?"

Of course, he still couldn't manage to stop his face from turning even more red in response.

I... where did you find this guy, master Wyatt?

Timmy flicked an ear and looked up at Sage as the other man looked down at him.

High school. Where you find all the good perverts.

He couldn't really disagree with that. It was actually a pretty accurate statement.

He uh... actually really likes his bat washed, too, Wyatt said, making Blake's eyes widen as he realized what he was saying.

You two... take turns washing each others' animals.

It was too cute to even think about. Sure, whichever one was human at the time was probably naked since they were likely sitting in the shower, but come on?

As nice as that eye candy would be, though, scrubbing a soggy bunny or bat? That was cuteness overload.

He wasn't sure how long he'd spaced out, but by the time he managed to pull himself from his daydream, Sage was right in front of him, a warm smile on his face and eyes crinkled slightly with humor.

Blake could tell that he wanted to reach out, too, and likely pat him on the head or run his fingers through his hair, but the man had wisely decided against it.

"Your sweet fuzzy love has instructed me that he's not comfortable with me being a bad bat just yet, so I'll behave and not ask again for a while," Sage said as his blind eyes stared straight through Blake.

I swear, sometimes I feel like he can see better than anyone else.

Sage gave a quiet chuckle at his thoughts, making Blake realize that he'd accidentally shared them.

"You can see everything, but if you understand nothing, what is there to look at it?" Sage asked... right before Timmy bit his collar bone, making him jump from surprise, and hopped out of his coat to thump down onto the floor.

The bunny's reactions had Blake trying to bite back a laugh, but he completely failed in the end. Thankfully, Sage was a great sport and while Blake was losing himself, hunched over and hugging his belly, Sage managed to get all of the groceries put away in their proper place.

When he was finally done laughing and able to catch his breath, Blake straightened up just enough to lean against the counter.

Sage was watching him again, but both their attention quickly turned to Wyatt as his human form walked out of his room and right over to them. He was only wearing a pair of loose-fitting dark red boxers, and if Sage were anyone else, Blake probably would have stepped in front of his mostly-naked master, but he honestly didn't mind.

"I know that it's getting late, but would you guys like to go for a quick walk down the street?" Wyatt asked as Blake eyed his single garment and Sage's lips stretched into a knowing smirk.

Before Blake could question him, Sage stepped toward Wyatt and lifted one arm around the guy's shoulders, then tugged him right up against his side.

"Absolutely, babe. Let's go for a walk. You're going to really enjoy it," Sage said to Blake before releasing Wyatt and nudging the guy back toward his room.

"You need to put on more than that, though... for now. Feel free to strip again once we get back, though."

Wyatt rolled his eyes at him, but instead of returning to his room right away, he turned back around and promptly walked up to Blake and tugged him into his arms for a tight hug.

Um?

He definitely didn't mind the hug, but it was kind of rand—oh.

"Are you jealous of your bunny getting all the hugs today?" he asked with a cheeky grin as he looked up at his master.

Wyatt didn't even hesitate to nod, which drew attention to something that was on his head that technically shouldn't be anymore.

"Your ears... are still there," Blake mumbled in awe.

My dom has bunny ears. Bunny ears!

He wanted to grab them. And squeeze them. And tug on them. It was utter torture to hold back, but he managed... just barely.

Sage, on the other hand, didn't hesitate in the least!

"Babe, this is what dreams are made of," he said as he tugged one of Wyatt's ears as the man's face turned red.

He was nudged away once Wyatt regained his wits, making Sage give a quiet chuckle.

"Go get dressed, babe."

Blake wasn't sure if Wyatt would want to go out since his ears were still clearly visible, but the guy pursed his lips stubbornly and turned to return to his room. A few minutes later and he was walking back out in a pair of distressed black jeans, black boots, and a black T-shirt and jacket. And, unfortunately but understandably, there was a matching baseball hat on his head that was pinning down his ears so that only the very tip of them were visible mixed in with his hair near the back.

On one hand, he was kind of sad to see them hidden away like that, but on the other hand...

No one needs to see my dom's bunny but the people he wants to see them.

He was about to think that he was the only one who should be allowed to see them on his human head, besides Sage with his echolocation ability, but he managed to stop himself before the thought really solidified. If Wyatt didn't want to show his bunny ears when he was human, then he had no right to force him to do it.

Rubbing at the back of his neck, Blake was honestly proud of himself for catching his near-mistake.

He's definitely mine, but as he said earlier. We'll take it one step at a time.

When Blake refocused his attention, both Wyatt and Sage were grinning at him. Wyatt with his super sweet, patient grin and Sage with his hot, I know I'm hot, smirk.

These two...

Are so freaking awesome.

Grabbing Wyatt's hand and the cuff of Sage's coat, Blake tugged them both toward the door.

"Alright, let's go for that walk," he said happily.

Said walk was surprisingly-quick. They had only covered roughly two blocks before they slowed to a stop in front of a little stand nestled between two larger buildings.

Blake was a bit confused, at first, but when he was handed two warm cannoli wrapped in wax paper, his eyes widened.

"I know it's a bit odd to see a random vendor out selling these, and literally nothing else, but I swear that they're going to be the best thing you've ever tasted," Wyatt said as Sage devoured his first one in just a few seconds beside them.

"The best thing ever, huh?" Blake replied with an anticipating grin.

He honestly expected Sage to respond with some pervy comment of some sort, but the guy was completely engrossed in annihilating his food.

This is better than sex.

Ah, there he was.

He doubted that the guy meant for him to intercept that thought, but he didn't doubt that he would have said it out loud if his mouth wasn't so thoroughly distracted at that moment.

Pushing aside all of those thoughts, Blake lifted one of the powdered sugar-covered cannoli to his mouth and took a big bite.

Holy...

If anyone had said anything to him after that point, Blake hadn't heard them. The only thing that mattered right at that moment was taking another bite of food. He finished both of his treats in record time, and as they began heading back, Sage snuck him a third one that he'd been hiding.

Blake took it without hesitation, but split it into three super messy pieces to share instead of eating the whole thing himself... even though he really wanted to.

"I'm glad you enjoyed them," Wyatt said with a chuckle as he slipped his arm around Blake's waist to settle a hand on his side and tug him a little closer.

Being busy sucking at the mess he'd made off of his fingers, Blake was only able to respond with "mmn," but that was evidently enough for his master.

"The booth is only there every once in a while, so when I saw him setting up on my way home earlier, I knew that I had to get you down there before he sold out," Wyatt said as Sage walked backwards in front of them with his hands tucked behind his back so that he could face them.

It was actually kind of cool to see, since he didn't have to look behind himself to know what was there. He didn't even trip on the raised portion of sidewalk that caught Blake by surprise, even though he kind of wished he had, just so that he didn't feel so foolish.

"I'll fall for you any day, love," was Sage's unsurprising response.

Blake didn't mind it, though. He was getting quite used to both of the men who were beginning to situate themselves comfortably into his life. In fact...

"You already have," Blake replied with a cheeky grin, and, for once, as they finished their short walk home, he wasn't the one blushing.
