Chapter Two

Here is chapter 2. Hope you all enjoy. This takes place exactly after chapter one. This chapter is dedicated to tessabridger

Dick's POV

The fact that my father had forgot me was earth shattering. I couldn't loose him as well. I have to be strong though, for Timmy and Jay. "Don't worry Jay-Bird. We're the bat brothers! We can do anything. Even restore the memory of Batman. It can't be that hard. We've dealt with the Joker, Deathstroke, and the Court of Owls," I told Jason. Jason just rolled his eyes and scoffed. "It's actually going to be very difficult Dick. We need to recover memories from his mind without causing any severe damage to his brain," Tim said looking at Bruce. Bruce Wayne sat there with a confused look on his face. "We still need to try Timmy, even if it may cause Dad some pain. Hey Dad....Bruce, tell me again, what do you remember?" I ask looking at my 'father'.

"I remember my parents death, Wayne Enterprises, Jason stealing tires from my car, and training with the League of Assassins to become the next Demon's Head," Bruce said calmly. I frowned, Bruce keeps on mentioning the League of Assassins and Ra's Al Ghul. "Hey Tim can you do some research about the League of Assassins current escapades and if necessary contact the JL," I whisper to Tim. Tim nods his head and heads over to the Batcomputer to get working. "What's the replacement doing? Isn't he going to help us fix this old man?" Jason asks. Bruce groans and holds his head. I look at him surprised, did Jason bring up another memory?  "Jason calls Tim that cause he became someone after Jason died?" Bruce muttered as he massaged his temples.

"That's surprisingly pretty accurate. Look at that golden boy! Bruce is remembering more because of me. Who's the golden boy now!" Jason said smirking. I shook my head as Bruce groaned once more. I wondered what Bruce is remembering and how painful it is to recall a memory. "Dick is referred to as Golden Boy by Jason because Dick is my favorite son," Bruce said. I nod my head as to signal that the memory he got back is in fact true. "I'm still trying to comprehend the fact that I have children. Three of them to be exact. How did I come to have three boys?" Bruce asked.

"You adopted each one of us. You adopted me when my parents died. You adopted Jason when you discovered he was an orphan that needed help. You adopted Tim after his parents passed away not to long ago," I said responding to Bruce's question. Bruce nodded his head slowly and massaged his temples. "I don't recall adopting any of you at all," Bruce said.

I sigh, "It's fine Bruce it's going to take a while before all your memories come back anyway. We should try and remind you of the current Wayne family."

"It's getting late. I'm going to go patrol since Batman and Nightwing most likely won't be in Gotham tonight," Jason said smirking.

"It's only 9 and Batman will be going out. I'll put on the suit and take Bruce's place for now. Plus, we said you would never patrol alone again, not after that mess you made at the docks," I said.

Jason glared at me, "Fine! I'm getting a drink."

"No....if you still want to go on patrol you are not going to get drunk! Your going to stay here and help me get Bruce's memories back," I said sternly.

"I hate you," Jason growled.

I looked at him and give him a huge grin, "I love you too Jay-Bird!" Bruce sits in his chair grumbling about kids and how they need to shut up. "This is normal Bruce. Jay and I argue twenty-four seven." I say.

"I know while you two were bickering I was able to recall a memory of how often the three of you would fight. I guess it makes sense though....you are brothers," Bruce said. "Yeah, well the Wayne family is really interesting. We argue all the time and in the end Alfred usually yells at us," Jason said. Bruce held his head in his hands for a second and than smiled. Jason and I looked at one another surprised that Bruce was actually smiling. The only time Bruce did, was when he was really, really, really happy. "So.....I am guessing you must've remembered an important family moment to make you this happy," I said.

Bruce nodded, "Just a little something. You boys were arguing about which movie to watch. In the end, Alfred was the one to choose the movie. It was an extremely boring black and white film. This resulted in us all falling asleep on top of one another on the couch."

"I remember that! I think Alfred has a picture somewhere. I guess we made some progress. Let's go Jason, time to patrol. Hey Timmy, you can stop searching and come patrol with us if you want!" I said loudly.

Jason nods and goes to suit up. "I'm going to stay here Dick. I think I found a really important lead that could explain how Dad lost his memories. I want to make sure it all adds up," Tim replied.

I nod my head, "Jason and I will be back later, okay, Dad. If you need anything, Tim and Alfred are still here. Try to remember how you actually adopted us." Bruce nods his head and I smile as I go suit up. I hope Bruce remembers everything soon. Gotham needs the actual Batman. And my brothers and I need our dad.
