Chapter 24

Scott had a plan to get the necklace from Allison. Although, Blake had to admit, it was a pretty terrible plan. She wasn't sure he was going to succeed.
And to make matters worse, Jackson was onto Scott about being a werewolf.

Scott had a plan to get the necklace from Allison, however, it didn't work. Scott's plan was to remind Allison of the good times they had together so he could get on her good side. And to make matters worse, Jackson was onto Scott being a werewolf.

"So, she's not giving you the necklace?" Stiles questioned as the three teenagers sat in the cafeteria.

"She's not giving me the necklace!" Scott hissed.

Stiles sighed. "Well, did you find anything else out?"
"Just that I know nothing about girls, and that they're totally psychotic."
Blake scoffed. "Excuse me?"

Scott raised a brow at his sister. "Not all girls are psychotic," Blake defended.
"Yeah, sure," Stiles said, patting Blake's shoulder. "Anyway, I came up with a plan 'B' just in case anything like this happened."
"What's plan 'B'?"

"Just steal the stupid thing," Stiles shrugged.
"Couldn't we try at least getting to Harris?" Scott suggested.
"I think I like Scott's plan better," Blake declared. She didn't want to steal from Allison.

"My dad put him on a 24 - hour protective detail, okay?" Stiles explained. "The necklace is all we got. Steal it. Thank you."

Scott wasn't looking at Stiles and instead looking at something across the room. Or someone.

"Stiles, he's watching us," Scott whispered. Blake and Stiles turned around to see who was watching them. Jackson sat across the room with Lydia and Allison sending a death glare to Scott.

"What's wrong?" Stiles asked after noticing the look son Scott's face.
"Jackson's talking to me. He knows I can hear him," Scott answered. Stiles went to turn around again but Scott stopped him. "Look at me. Just talk to me. Act normal. Pretend that nothing's happening."

Stiles obeyed Scott but didn't do a very good job of it. Blake just ate her food, ignoring the whole situation.

"Say something. Talk to me!" Scott ordered.

"I can't think of anything. My mind's a complete blank," Stiles replied.
"Your mind's blank? You can't think of something to say?"

"Not under this kind of pressure. FYI, he's not even sitting with them anymore."

Blake turned around to look at Jackson but he wasn't there anymore.
"Where the hell is he?" Scott asked. Scott froze and listened intently to what Jackson was saying. Scott clenched his fists, wanting nothing more than to bash Jackson's face in.
"What's he saying?" Blake asked.

"Scott, come on, you can't let him do this. You can't let him have this kind of power over you. Okay?" Stiles said.

"He's not worth it, Scott," Blake announced, standing up.

"Where are you going?" Scott questioned his sister.

"I'm going to find Alec."

Scott nodded before standing up. "I need to find Allison."

Scott looked at Stiles, asking him if he was coming or not.

With a shake of his head Stiles stood up. "I need to find Danny."

Scott and Blake gave him a strange look but didn't question him before the three went in different directions.

"Alec," Blake greeted as she approached him at his locker. Blake leaned her back against the lockers beside Alec's. "Are you coming tonight?"

Alec stared at her with a blank expression. He had no ide what she was talking about.

"The lacrosse game?"

"Oh! Yeah, I'm going," he nodded. "I just need to climb out my window."

"Your mom's not letting you go?" Blake gasped.

Alec shook his head. "She said that I should focus on school and not some lacrosse game."

Blake shrugged. "Technically, it does have something to do with school and it's not just a lacrosse game. It's the quarter finals."

"She just doesn't understand it. She thinks that school is the only thing that's good for you," Alec sighed.

Blake scoffed. "I know she's your mom, but she couldn't be more wrong."

"I know," Alec agreed. He closed his locker and turned to Blake. "Maybe once my dad comes home, he'll convince her to let me do something other than studying."

"Maybe," Blake mumbled.

"Blake!"

Blake and Alec stared down the hallway to see Stiles running towards them.

"Blake," he panted. "Meet me at my place after school. It's important."

Stiles placed a hand on the lockers as he tried to get his breath back after running down the hallway.

"Okay, bye." Blake stared Stiles as he disappeared down the hallway.

"He really does get weirder by the day," Alec chuckled.

"I told you."

Blake opened the door to Stiles' house. She didn't even knock first. She had always been told that she didn't need to knock.mThis was her second home.

"Hello?" she called out, wondering if Stiles was home yet.

"Blake!" she heard a voice call from the kitchen. Sheriff Stilinski stood at the door to the kitchen. "Hi! He's upstairs."
Blake smiled at the man who was like a father to her. "Thanks."

Blake made her way up the stairs and into Stiles' room.
She opened the door and walked in, seeing Stiles sitting at his computer chair.
Stiles looked over at her and jumped in his chair from excitement.
"Blake! You know that text that Scott sent Allison the night in the school?" Stiles asked. Blake nodded.

"Well," he grinned. "I called Danny and he's going to find out who really sent that text."

Blake raised an eyebrow at they boy. "Did he say that he was going to do that?"
As nice as Danny was, she didn't believe that he would whatever it is you need to do just to find out who sent Allison that message.

Stiles scratched the back of his neck. "He's coming over to do lab work."
Blake nodded her head, knowing that Danny wasn't coming over to do what he thought he was going to do.

"But!" Stiles exclaimed. "I'm going to force him to find out who sent that message."

"And what if he doesn't?"

"Then he's not leaving my house," Stiles shrugged.

Blake rubbed her forehead but decided not to argue with him. She knew that he really wouldn't let Danny leave his house. Blake went to sit on Stiles' bed but immediately froze when she saw Derek Hale sitting in Stiles' other chair reading a book.

"Blake," Derek greeted, not bothering to look up from the book he was reading.

"Derek," Blake greeted, although, it sounded more like a question.

Blake turned on her heel and stood next to Stiles, leaning on his table.
"Why is he here?" Blake whispered.

"Being honest, I really don't know."

"Can't you kick him out. I mean, it's not like this is your house or anything."

Stiles sent Blake a look. "You try kicking him out."

Blake shrugged. "I will."

Blake stood up and faced Derek.

"Derek," Blake began.

"No."

"What?"

"I am not getting out."

Blake was stuck for words. The fact that Blake wanted him gone made him want to stay even more.

"I could hear what you two were saying.  I feel hurt that you want to get rid of me," Derek continued, not feeling hurt at all.

"If you don't like what you hear then stop listening," Blake shrugged.
Derek looked up from his book. "You're a bad whisperer. A human could of heard what you were saying."

"Just read your book," Blake muttered. Blake looked at Stiles who raised his eyebrows. "He's not doing any harm!" He defended. Blake glanced over at Derek who was staring over at them.

"Fine," she groaned. Blake wanted Derek to leave, but she also wanted him to stay. Blake got nervous around Derek, and then she did stupid things. But she enjoyed his company.

I know they aren't together, but, Derek and Blake are so cute!
