I felt my wings get warmer. My wish to be free was extreme. I could see the dome still building up and behind me there were some rockets coming straight at me. Not to mention Hawks who was still flying towards me.

I don't want to get hit by the rocket!

I closed my eyes and began concentrating to gain more speed. My only option was to get everything out of my quirk.

An image of us all in the LOV lair came into my mind and I could feel tears forming into my eyes. I remembered a time when we were all together in the bar. Mamagiri sipping on some wine. Me and Shiggy playing a game and me beating him. Shiggy was pouting and asked for a rematch. Then there was Dabi and Toga. Dabi was trying to get Togas nerves but all she wants was some attention. Mamagiri trying to stop them and leaving his wine glass. Dabi who was then shifting to annoy Mamagiri and taking his glass of wine, running around. Toga tripping him and Dabi spilling the wine on the TV ruining mine and Shiggy's game. Then everyone looking at each other and start laughing like a maniac.

Hawks: VULTURE!

I opened my eyes and felt my wings getting warmer and warmer. It was getting harder to breath. I felt like suffocating although nothing was wrong with me.

Not now!

I need to make it!

They are waiting for me!

I know that they will come and save me but this opportunity is perfect!

Looking at the barrier in front of me I saw a small gap and not only that but I also felt like I was flying a lot faster now. Once I was close to the barrier only seconds away, I closed my wings and slipped through the small opening above me.

Me: Hah.

I felt dizzy and everything was beginning to spin. Never did something like this happen ever to me. My wings began felling heavy. I was still in the air and flying upwards until I hit a high and closed my wings only to open them real fast. I felt as if my wings were on fire.

This feels off.

Looking at my wings for the first time I saw that they were in a white color.

Me: What the-

That was however not all, small white flames were all around them. It was no wonder that I felt hot.

This was what Hikari meant. . .

I only wish she could see them again. . .

I felt all the energy leave my body. Tired that was all I felt. There was no point in fighting it anymore. As I closed my eyes I realized that I was falling and I saw my wings turn black again. Once my eyes were closed I remembered Hikari and the first time she saw them.

I was flying around the town and went close to the forest for a break. Normally I wouldn't go there but today was special. I wanted to have a little break from all the kids I saved. It was getting trying and I also wanted some alone time trying out some new moves up in the air without having someone report me for using my quirk.

Okay let's go!

I know I can do this!

I flew above the trees and began cutting some 90° edges. The point of this was to get some feeling for it and try to even keep my speed up while doing that. It took me a couple of tries to get a 90 degree. I was sure that I would need that skill while flying through the city.

Next I began flying up and let myself drop down and then perform the 90 degree to fly parallel to the ground.

First time I did that I didn't managed that and hit the tree below me.

SHIT!

That hurts a lot!

Whose idea was this trying to learn this in a forest?

Well better than hitting concrete I guess...

Okay I need to act quicker.

Another try and another fail. I did this a couple of time until I got sick and tired of flying into trees so I moved to a lake inside the forest and tried it again. It might have been a bad idea since the lake was surrounded by trees.

Once I let myself drop I realized my mistake way too late.

I am so dumb!

There is no way I can stop in front of the trees.

I could try to cut on their highs just to make sure.

Or not...

Never mind I just passed that point!

As I was getting closer I also realized that the lake was not deep and I would hit the ground and probably hurt myself even more.

Once I was at the right high, I opened my wings rather quick and somehow even managed to fly in a 90-degree angle and even get a little high on top of that. As I managed to get the 90 degree angle I split the water into two and flew extremely fast parallel to it and very close to it too.

I need to get higher!

Don't fail me wings!

Closing my eyes because I was too scared of the impact, I concentrated to get some high while also getting ready for an impact. To my surprise the impact never came. I only felt something hitting my wings but nothing else.

After confirming that I was still in air, since I felt the air flow, I opened my eyes.

Me: YEEEAAAAHHHHH!!!!!

I finally made it.

I can't believe it!

I made fucking made it!

And

I didn't get hurt again!

I was happy with my succeed and began flying around even twirling in the air until I caught an out of place color, neon pink it was.

What is that.

That deep in the forrest?

Being the curious bird I am I flew to the object only to realize that it was a kid.

Me: Oh GOSH!

I immediately picked the person up in my hands.

Me: Hey, wake up! Can you even hear me! I will get you to a hospital!

The kid slowly opened her eyes the moment I picked her up and I immediately jumped into the air.

Me: Please hold on!

As I was flying through the sky all I could think of being fast enough to save the kid and at some point I felt my wings stinging and getting hot but all I thought was that I at some point hurt myself while always flying into the trees in order to get cutting edges in a 90-degree right

As I was falling down with closed eyes I could feel someone catching me.
