Clauis was whimpering. Leo laid beside clauis and held him tight. He watched as his beloved omega fell asleep in his embrace. Leo's eyes darkened, he had come to a conclusion as to what discussion would be having and the conclusion they would come to. Leo's held clauis even tighter and sniffed in Clauis's hair, it was an amazing smell, it was like a field of lavender that happened to go well with his sandalwood self.

The night was long and heavy, the adults were having a heavy conversation. Leo wasn't able to sleep a wink, clauis had fallen asleep at night but when he woke up he was scared.

Leo bathed and dressed clauis into beautiful clothes. They walked hand in hand in the hallway as they reached the dining room.

Upon entering, clauis slightly trembled and his fingers unconsciously curled. This time the Emperor and Empress didn't call, the atmosphere wasn't what it was yesterday. Clauis at this point had roughly guessed what had happened yesterday.

Clauis went and sat on the seat that was arranged for him, beside his 3rd older brother. The room was quite and only the clattering of the utensils could be heard. Clauis wanted to run away and go to his mate's room but he had to uphold the etiquette.

The breaker was unbearable. After the breakfast clauis was basking in the sun on the balcony of his mate's room. A servant knocked on the door and informed him that the duke had called him. Clauis had no choice but to obey.

"Clauis we discussed about what to do with you. And you are coming with us to the duchy, we are leaving tomorrow, preparations have started." "Understood Father"

Clauis left after the brief conversation, as soon as he opened the door he saw his mate, Leo, standing there in front of the door. "Your highness?" "Leo... Leo took Clauis's hand and they went to his room yet again. After Leo closed the door, he hugged Clauis tightly.

Leo flinched and hugged Clauis more tightly, "Make sure you eat everyday don't miss out on food. Make sure you don't trouble dad too much, he already has a lot on his plate due to being an Emperor, Don't give your family a cold shoulder, be careful not to break the bond you all have created over the years." " I will make sure, I promise" Clauis chuckled, "Alright make sure you keep your promise."
