Clauis narrated his experience when he was Ray(his past life) when he was seperated from his mate. Everyday was hell, he always felt like committing suicide.

President looked at Clauis as if sensing a deja vu, Clauis's eyes were the same as the previous President. The previous President said some similar things as well. As how books saved their lives. The president sighed in defeat. That's right who was he to reject a new club member that could help?

"Then Sero, help Clauis fill out the form, My name is Kenneth pls call me president ken."

"Yes, please take care of me!" Clauis bowed, he finnally did it, now he only needs to take out the trash and make the club flourish.

Clauis followed Sero out of the president's office. "Now that you are a member of library club, come from next week after classes, I will allot work to you." 

Clauis nodded and left the library, he entered his dorm room. "Nox, good job." Clauis said complimenting him.

"I am glad to be useful to the young master!" Nox gave Clauis a close eye smile.

"Nox I have another job for you, go book a table for more than 4 people at my favourite cafe." Nox was a little confused but obliged, it was his job after all, as a servant follow the master's wishes.

"I understand, I will do so. Is there anything else you desire?" Clauis shook his head, "No, Not really."

"Well, young master a letter for you has arrived."

"Hm? Is it elder brother?"

Nox shook his head, "No young master, it seems to be from the butler." Clauis sighed.

"Alright hand it over." Nox bowed and gave the letter to Clauis.

"Young master, what's the letter about?" Clauis sighed,

"A Succession banquet." Nox eyes went wide, he stumbled and almost dropped the tea set he was holding.

The succession banquet of the Martina family. Every one is called be it acquaintances, friends, relatives, vassals. The banquet is a ceremony where the succession of the arch duke is passed. The heir receives the title after passing through all the tests and hardships that were planned and organized by the current head.

"It is brother's succession ceremony, we will need a perfect attire. Nox check my file for dresses and pick the appropriate outfits for all of us. We are returning by the start of the next month, as I am supposed to prepare everything."

"Yes young master, I will prepare for our departure. May I ask what gift will you be giving to the eldest Master?"

"It is something that no one else but only I can give."

'To think father will step down from the position this early. Did something happen? Well he is old anyways, he has fought a lot of wars he deserves the rest. Especially after mom's death, due to wars he was unable to mourn properly.'

Clauis sighed he has so much in his plate. He will need to rearrange his plans, due to the sudden ceremony, one wrong move and he will fall to the bottom of the pit without mercy, since his mate plans to hide, he won't be able to reach before he is destroyed.

For now he will relax while drinking his favourite tea and doing his homework. His club activities start next week, the ceremony will happen at the start of spring, so he needs to deal with the embezzlement before that. The rumors will spread and he will be able to befriend the mls.

Clauis sighed, he has to go through a lot because of a stupid beast that refuses to come out from its cave, even if it's hungry, filling his stomach by ants and bees, but for how long will the beast endure his hunger? He will have to come out eventually. 'This is worth the trouble.'
