ย  ย  Sounds coming from people typing away or the way their pens would scratch against the papers itched the back of my brain. Barely noticing how fast time had past with the way I was given papers after papers.

The busy room never quieted down so I had to fill out the papers out in misery. I probably should've listened to Keigo and stopped interfering when he said so. Now I was stuck here with nothing but a giant stack of paperwork.

Dropping the pencil on the desk next to the last sheet of paper, I stifled a yawn as it might have been viewed as disrespectful. The man behind the computer glance at me from behind the screen. He had large black eye bags and his face was so pale it made him age fifty years older. But he always had this kind hearted smile that could remind one of their loving grandpa.

"You done?"

"Yea, is this it?" I asked, wondering if the endless pile of paperwork was actually endless, "This is a lot for such a small crime."

He chuckled at my misery, "Sure is. But you're done now." Taking the pile away from me and putting it on his own desk, "Why don't you rush out of here and get something to eat. I bet you're hungry."

I never ran as fast like this before. As soon as he said I had finished everything, I was already on my way out of there. He smiled at my liveliness and waved goodbye, then went back to his computer to finish who knows what.

Throwing my hands in the air with a huge smile on my face. Never have I ever felt so refreshed just by standing outside in the autumn breeze. By this time, it was already past noon, maybe it was already evening. The thought of walking home dampened my spirit and made me wonder how much easier it was if I had my boyfriend here.

"[N/N]!"

I jumped, like literally, feet of the ground and everything, "You shouldn't scare someone when they're deep in thought Kei!"

He cooed, his wings deflating with him as he was disheartened. I paddled over to him, down the stairs that seemed like it was gonna go down any second now. The cracks in the concrete further proved my point. At the sound of me coming down the stairs, he perked up and dismissed his depressive episode. His eyes were silently begging me to jump into his arms.

I rolled my eyes but couldn't hold back my chuckle, watching him beg so adorably. So I granted him his wish and jumped off the last few steps of the stairs into his arms. We erupted into a series of giggles and chuckles, laughed until our stomach hurts, but we never let go of each other.

Eventually, we stopped before a crowd could form and tried to figure out what we'll be doing. I stifled another giggle, gently slapping his shoulder as a way of asking him to put me down.

"I mean I'm about to fly us to the penthouse anyways, so get comfy in my arms, love."

And just like that, we were off again.

Brows furrowed at the feeling of warm hands dancing at my waist, I grumbled, annoyed that I was woken up.

"Sorry love."

"Morning Kei."

I relaxed as his board, warm hand rubbed my back gently. Wiggling back a bit so I can loop my hands around his neck. The blond chuckled softly, whispering random compliments into my ears.

"Don't you have patrol to get to?"

"I can wait a bit longer." He muttered, "I want to enjoy this moment with you by my side."

Without noticing, I was chuckling like crazy, letting my hands fall off his neck and scooted closer to him to lean on his very bare chest.

"Womanizer."

"I'm loyal only to you."

We stayed like that for what seemed like forever. It was so peaceful that I had almost fell back to sleep until I felt Keigo squirm besides me. My eyes cracked open to look at him, he offered a soft smile.

"Is it time for you to go?"

"Unfortunately, love." I released him and watched as he crawled out of bed hesitant as he also didn't want to be away from my arms. "I'll be back quickly โ€” I promise."

He scrambled onto his feet to get next to the bed, then planted a kiss on my cheek. I giggled, bashfully looking away from his figure, he chuckled too at my reaction.

"Don't make promises you can't keep Kei."

"I'll keep any promises with you."

I rolled my eyes, face buried into his pillow and snuggled under his sheets. Ears peeking up as I heard him rummage through the closet and then back out.

"See you later, love."

"Bye, babe."

Imagine my reaction when I was rudely woken up at the sound of my phone ringing. It vibrated on the table and wouldn't stop ringing even five minutes in. Annoying me to no end, I huffed, arms leaving the comforts of the sheets and reached for my phone.

Groggily, I sneaked a peak at the caller ID, placing it next to my ear to be met by a familiar voice.

"[Y/N]."

"Touya?" Still drowsy and confused at why he had called me, "It's so early in the morning..."

"It's literally the afternoon right now you dumbass."

I snapped open my eyes and raised my hand that held my phone up to my eyes. It was indeed the afternoon, I had slept in way too late, missing breakfast and possibly lunch too.

"Ugh, I never slept in this late before."

"Stop whining and come back to the base, apparently Shigaraki has something to say to the whole team."

I sighed at the thought of walking to the base, why would they decide to live so far away from me. Already on my way, crawling out from beneath the bedsheets to sit by the edge of the bed. Feeling lightheaded from sitting up too fast, I almost forgot my brother was still on the phone.

"I'll be right there. Give me a few minutes Touya."

"Okay, see you later."

He hanged up and left me alone to stare out the window and pondered about what to do with my life. Snapping out of this trance would take a while.

"So what's the thing you need to talk about?"

Apparently the meeting was too important for me to grab something to eat nor brush my teeth or do my hair. So I arrived at the base with bed head, thankfully it wasn't that bad. Just a few flyaways here and there, nothing too messy.

"I came on a empty stomach."

I knew Shigaraki rolled his eyes behind that crusty hand of his.

"Maybe you shouldn't be sleeping in until noon."

"Who are you to tell me what to do with my life?"

By this time everyone already got used to the fights me and Shigaraki frequently get into. It was like any normal day with the league. Even Kurogiri couldn't give a shit about us anymore after making a few attempts to stop us the first time.

"Hey, hey. Why don't you two calm down?" Touya suggested, squeezing in between us with a irk, "I want to grab something to eat and the more you guys argue the less time I get to grab dinner."

Shigaraki shot me a look, but I was too distracted by his greasy and unwashed hair to notice. Touya sighed at our behavior, hands on my shoulders, he pushed me a bit farther from his leader to create some distance.

"Anyways, as I was gonna say before [N/N] rudely interrupted me-"

And just like that, the meeting begun. To sum it up, Shigaraki was talking about the monthly bill, how much they were spending on food and lecturing us to stop wasting water because our water bill was too high. It didn't apply to me though, I was out most of the time, using Keigo's water instead.

Other than that, he also brushed upon the missions that were taking place soon. Reminding us of what our goal really was. I listened in carefully, half zoned out, half focused. Actually I couldn't give a fuck, he was gonna hold another meeting for those later anyways.

"That's basically it for now." He ended, "you guys can go back to whatever you're doing. I'm going to sleep."

"You mean taking a shower first?" Shigaraki peered at me with what I assumed was annoyance and a mixture of anger. "What? Even if you do shady stuff as a villain you should still keep up with your hygiene."

"[N/N]'s right."

I smiled widely at the way Kurogiri agreed with me. Since it was Kurogiri, Shigaraki begrudgingly agreed. I was actually worried that I had to be the one to drag him into the shower because I suggested the idea. Thank god Kurogiri was here.

"Thanks."

"No problem, [N/N]."

Toga jumped onto my back, wrapping her arms around my neck, she smiled. I walked over to the couch with her on me as I hummed. Noticing how Touya followed us from behind, seemily interested in what we were gonna talk about, behind him followed Twice. Who wasn't that interested, but followed along just cause.

"I missed you [N/N]!"

"I can say the same." She climbed off me and jumped onto the couch, "It's been a while Toga."

I sat down, making myself comfortable between Touya and Toga. There was this moment of deja vu, being surround by people who cherished me had me in the feels. It didn't last, all of us turned to look over at the door.

Someone had knocked, but it didn't seem like it was a intruder. Instead, everyone looked relaxed, so I thought it might have been a new member that the league had recruited when I was gone. I couldn't wait for another person to join in my shenanigans.

"I'm back guys, you wont guess how much flyers I handed out today-"

I was fucked.

Beyond fucked...
