ย  ย ย  We both shared a knowing glance. He lifted himself off me and I turned to the side, both of us grabbing our respective device.

"Hello?"

"When are you heading back?"

I perked up at the sound of my brother's voice. Glancing at Keigo from the corner of my eye and took notice at how he was focused on his own conversation with who knows what.

"Why? It's pretty late for me to head back."

"Just some questions I need to ask."

I raise a brow at his answer, then shrugging it off, thinking it as nothing I should be worried about. There was a soft tap on my arm and I turned around to look at Keigo. He smiled, pointing at his phone and then at the door. I just nodded, watching him walk out of the room to take his call.

"The earliest would be tomorrow morning Touya." I whispered into the phone, "Will that be alright?"

There was a hum of agreement on the other side.

"Okay."

Without bidding goodbye, he hanged up. I was a bit surprised that he would do this but then he was probably going his teenager phase again. It was better to leave him alone than to nag him about it.

A few minutes later, Keigo entered the room again. He was finished with his call and it looked like he was about to fall asleep any minute now. I silently laughed at how disheveled he looked. His hair was all messy from how I was playing with it and shirt all wrinkled.

"Sleepy Kei?"

He hummed. I patted the spot besides me on the bed. He accepted my invitation and joined me, snuggling up against my side with a huge smile. I couldn't lie to myself, he was adorable.

"Let's head to sleep."

"Alright."

It was so early that the sun hasn't risen yet. But I was already strolling down the road. In a stolen hoodie that battled against the early breeze and kept me warm.

I yawned, rubbing my eyes with the back of my hand. Trying my best to rub the drowsiness out of me. As soon as I reached the new base, Touya was at the entrance. He knew I was arriving at this time.

"Morning Touya."

"Morning."

He grabbed my hand and led me into the building. It wasn't as bad as the previous base, except for the part that it wasn't as furnished as the first one. Through several hallways, he stopped in front of a door. Guessing that it was ours. He opened it and allowed me to enter first before he walked through.

"What did you have to say?"

I asked, plopping onto the bed. Which was one of the few furniture in his room. It was less creaky than our old one, the bed frame and mattress was relatively new too.

"I'm gonna get straight to the point."

"Okay."

"Hawks likes you."

I peered at him. He was still standing by the door, leaned against the wall with his arms in front of his chest. His gaze never flattering. I never had been so confused in what he was trying to say. I knew that the said male had some sort of feelings for me. He couldn't have made it more obvious.

"And?"

He kept staring at me, afraid of how I was gonna react to what he'll say next. Which honestly scared me.

"You like him."

No longer staring at him anymore, I was more fixated on the ceiling. Too embarrassed to hold eye contact. Maybe I was also way too obvious with my feelings. Looking back to what we did, what we shared and how we looked at each other with knowing glances. It was destiny, like we would've fallen in love either way.

Even after trying to stay ignorant to my feelings and how he would've felt. I knew that it wouldn't be easy, especially if I spent every second of my day with him.

"Right."

It was the only word that I could get out of my mouth.

"So I was right?"

I glanced at him, the corner of my lips tugged upwards into a soft smile.

"As my brother, shouldn't you know what your sister's feeling."

He rolled his eyes, walking over to sit on the bed besides me. Arms draped around me that acted like a blanket, he pulled me into a embrace.

"You're talking as if I'm a god." He said through hushed whispers. Leaning his chin on his arm and looked into my eyes. "It's alright. You can love who you want to."

If there wasn't such a sweet atmosphere, I would've pushed his arms off me and then throw him off he bed. He was acting so strange right now and it disgusted me to see him behaving this way (haha trama response). But I still hugged him back even though I really didn't want to.

"Right. Just shut up."

The peaceful silence only lasted for another minute.

"What do you even see in him?"

"Do you not understand what shut up means?"

"Are you staying tonight? The whole squad misses you including Shigarki, even if he doesn't show it. You know you're an important member to the League right?"

He didn't know it, but whatever he just said now made my heart skip a beat.

It was just a organization filled with villains that were really just people who got rejected by society. Each of us had our very own backstory. Pain that we endured for years and years until we had enough. Through neglect and hatred, this was were we found ourself. This was what we called home.

I realized I was quiet for a bit too long and left Touya waiting for my answer. I quickly shook my head.

"Hawks will get suspicious if I suddenly disappeared for a night and came back the day after."

"Oh right." He knew my answer was the most logical and hummed, "You guys better not be fucking behind my back-"

"Why would you even want to know that?"

"Why not?"

I furrowed my brows and shot him a disgusted look, "This is the main reason why I like Natsou more than you." I shoved him off me, "At least he knows what to say and what not to say."

Touya just came back and clung onto me like a child.

"Why would you compare me to him~"

"Why are you such a dork when it comes to your siblings!" He continued whining. Though, I had enough and ignored him, trying to pry his hands off me. "Would you let go?"

"Only if you say you like me more than Natsou!"

I glared at him, but he just glared back at me. Sighing, I pinched the bridge of my nose. Knowing that he wouldn't give up until I did what he wanted.

"If I say it, would you actually let me go?" He quickly nodded his head, which prompted me to sigh again. "Okay, I like you just the tiniest bit more than Natsou."

Defeated, was the right word to express what Touya was feeling right now. But then being reminded of the promise, he hesitantly freed me from his grasped. Then buried his face into the sheets, throwing his little tantrum silently.

When were villains ever this soft?

I cleaned myself up, bidding farewell to my brother and got ready to head to the market to buy some groceries. Knowing that whatever was left in Keigo's fridge was probably just chicken.

Walking out, I caught Toga's attention. She ran up to me and captured me in a hug. Frightened at first, but then realizing that it was the high schooler, I hugged her back.

"Are you staying tonight?"

"Ah, I really cant." She gave me the puppy eyes, "Stop doing that. You know I can't stay."

She sighed in defeat and let go of me, "But you gotta come back tomorrow or next week so we can go shopping."

"Right, how could I ever forget?" Remembering the promise I made with her, but we had to delay the plans due to my mission. "We'll go soon. I promised you after all."

As I was about to leave, another person decided to stop me in my tracks. His weird cracked voice made me freeze up.

"We have a meeting soon, I'll text you the details." I just nodded, "Don't you dare be late."

"Got you."

Then I finally got to go on my way. Already dreading the treacherous bags I had to drag all the way back to his stupid penthouse.

"[N/N]! It's nice to see you here."
