Today is Halloween at the Oakley-Mellet Household! This year, Tyler has the boys for Halloween!

Even though a pandemic is very much still happening a few months later, Tyler still wants to take the boys out trick or treating!

For Halloween this year, Archer is going to be Link from The Legend of Zelda games and Sparrow is going to be Marshmello the DJ!

Right now, Archer and Sparrow are eating some dinner with their Halloween costumes on, while they all wait for Hannah, her wife Ella with their four children eight year old Briar, seven year old Judson, five year old Oaklen and one year old Juniper, and Grace with her husband Elliott with their three children eight year old Kai, seven year old Luka and five year old Shiloh!

*Archer and Sparrow's Halloween costumes*

"Sparrow, make sure you try to eat your broccoli. The doctor wants you to eat more greens." Tyler says as Sparrow huff a little.

"Fineeeee." Sparrow says as he takes a few bites of broccoli.

"This cheesy broccoli is so good, Mom! It's better with cheese on it Sparrow!" Archer says to Tyler and then Sparrow.

"Aunt Hannah, Aunt Ella, Aunt Grace, Uncle Elliott, Briar, Judson, Oaklen, Juniper, Kai, Luka and Shiloh are all coming over and they are going to go trick or treating with us!" Korey says with a smile, causing Archer and Sparrow to both cheer happily.

"Let's call Dad! He isn't feeling well today!" Tyler says as he grabs his iPhone to call him.

"Does he got the Covid?" Archer asks, Tyler sipping on his chocolate milk.

"Yeah, does he have covid?" Sparrow asks Tyler.

"He got tested for it! Hopefully he doesn't have it!" Tyler says as he sits at the table with Korey, Archer and Sparrow.

"I really hope he doesn't have it! That'd be sad!" Sparrow says a little worriedly.

"I don't think he does, buddy!" Korey tries to be reassuring to both boys, rubbing their backs.

Tyler dials in Troye's phone number for a FaceTime and after a few rings, he answers.

"Hi, Dad!" Archer and Sparrow both say in unison to Troye with big smiles.

"Hey, Troye!" Tyler and Korey both say in unison to Troye with big grins.

"Hi, everyone! Nice costumes, Archer and Sparrow!" Troye says cheerfully, then coughs into his elbow.

"Thanks, Dad!" Sparrow says with a cheeky smile

"Thanks, Dad! Do you know who we're dressed ask?" Archer asks excitedly.

"Well, I think so! Archie, you're Link! And Sparrow... you are... that DJ named Cotton Candy?" Troye asks, obviously joking with Sparrow, though the kid doesn't get that his dad's joking.

"No, Dad! I'm Marshmello!" Sparrow says playfully to Troye with a smile.

"Oh, that's right! You are Marshmello! I am silly!" Troye says making Tyler, Korey, Archer and Sparrow all laugh.

"Aunt Hannah! Aunt Ella! Aunt Grace and Uncle Elliott are coming over!" Sparrow says with a grin.

"Yeah! Briar, Jud, Oak, Juni, Kai, Luka and Shi are going trick or treating with us!" Archer says as he flaps his hands in excitement.

"Wow! That sounds fun! Get lots of candy and maybe bring me some next time I pick you two up!" Troye says, making Archer and Sparrow both laugh.

"Dad! Do you have the Covid?" Archer asks Troye.

"Nope! My test is negative but it did come back for the flu so that's why I'm sick." Troye says to Archer and Sparrow.

"Oh, I'm glad you're not really a cook!" Archer says with an accent, sometimes he'd use an Australian slang instead of American around his dad.

"You don't get Covid from food, Archie." Troye says playfully causing Archer and Sparrow to both smile.

"If you boys are done eating you can go wash up and we'll go trick or treating soon, okay?" Tyler says and the twins both nod, taking a few more bites before clearing their paper plates in the trash and running upstairs.

Tyler also wanted to talk to Troye separately, along with Korey. It was like the adults table.

"They ran off without even saying bye!" Troye says as he dramatically puts a hand to his chest, pretending to be offended deeply.

"You know how they get about holidays. Well, American holidays like this! You get free candy just by wearing something unusual." Korey laughs, trying not to confuse Troye with the word 'Holiday' since it means something else there.

"You two know that Australians celebrate Halloween too you know!" Troye says as he coughs a few times.

"You can come trick or treating with us if you want to, Troye!" Tyler says with a smile.

"I'm good. You guys can go and have some fun. I need to recover anyway. I haven't been sleeping well due to having a coughing fits." Troye says as he takes a few sips of water.

"We hope you feel better soon!" Korey says to Troye, rubbing Tyler's back.

"Thank you! How are you feeling, Ty?" Troye asks Tyler.

"I still feel a little nauseated but I feel a lot better! Thank you for asking." Tyler says with a grin.

"When are you telling the boys?" Troye asks both Tyler and Korey.

"Korey and I want to wait a few more weeks and then tell them." Tyler says as he quickly stops talking about the baby,

"Dad! What kind of candy you want?" Archer asks Troye with a big smile.

"Any kind of chocolate!" Troye says happily to both boys.

"Okay! I'll save my Reese's cups for you! They're sooo good!" Archer replies and jumps up and down happily.

"I'll save some of my chocolate, too! I prefer the fruit candies!" Sparrow comments back.

"They are! Thanks for the kind thoughts." Troye says politely, giving a weak smile.

Sparrow whispers into Tyler's ear about another idea. His idea is to leave a little bag of candy at Troye's front door, then ring the doorbell and hide. Like a secret Santa thing.

"That's a good, idea, bud! We can definitely do that!" Tyler says with a cheeky grin.

Troye looks curious, not hearing what Sparrow said to Tyler.

"You are a very good at whispering, mate." Troye says and raises one eyebrow and Sparrow and Archer both giggle and smile at Troye.

"Well, we are going to go! Hannah, Ella, Grace, Elliott and all of their kids should be here any moment. Do you need anything, Troye?" Tyler says to Troye.

"I'm good, Ty. Thank you though! Bye boys! Have fun! I love you." Troye says as he blows kisses at Archer and Sparrow.

"Bye, Dad! Love you!" Archer and Sparrow both say in unison to Troye with cheeky smiles.

Tyler ends the FaceTime call and smiles at Archer and Sparrow.

"Do you guys have your pillow cases ready to fill up with candy?" Korey asks Archer and Sparrow.

"YES!" Archer and Sparrow both say in unison to Korey.

Just then, the front door bell rings!

"Looks like everyone is here! Let's let everybody inside!" Tyler says as Archer and Sparrow both happily run over to the front door.

Archer opens the front door and he and Sparrow happily greet Hannah, Ella, Grace, Elliott, Briar, Kai, Judson, Luka, Shiloh, Oaklen and Juniper with hugs!

"Hello, everyone! Hi!" Tyler says energetically, smiling at everybody.

"Hello!" Korey says with a cheeky grin.

"Hi, Uncle Tyler! We're gonna go trick or treating! I am soooo excited!" Shiloh says as she twirls happily.

"We are, Shi! That's why we're here, baby! We're trick or treating with everybody!" Elliott says as he smiles and laughs at his daughter.

"Oaklen just couldn't wait tonight! Neither could Judson! Both kept asking Ella and I when we were coming over here!" Hannah says as she bounces Juniper on her hip to keep the baby happy.

"Ya! Eeee!" Juniper claps her hands and cheers loudly, not understand Halloween just yet.

"I love you guys' costumes! They are soooo cool!" Tyler complements the group of kids and their parents.

"Thank you!" Briar, Kai, Judson, Luka, Oaklen and Shiloh all say in unison.

"Yay!" Juniper says clapping her hands.

After a few more minutes of chit chatting, all three families go outside and start to trick or treating!

"Aunt Hannah and Ella! We're gonna save candy for Dad! He is not feeling well!" Archer tells Ella and Hannah.

"Aww, that's nice to do!" Ella says as she holds Juniper in her arms.

Briar, Kai, Judson, Luka, Oaklen, Shiloh, Archer and Sparrow all happily walk together talking about school and other things!

Briar, Kai, Judson, Luka, Oaklen, Shiloh, Archer and Sparrow all walk up to a house together while the adults watch!

"When we all met we didn't have kids and now look at us! We have a bunch of kids that are friends!" Tyler says with a giggle, causing Korey, Ella, Hannah, Grace and Elliott to all laugh.

"Briar! Make sure you get Juniper a piece of candy too!" Ella says to her and Hannah's eldest daughter.

"Okay, Mama!" Briar says with a smile.

"Trick or treat!" Briar, Kai, Judson, Luka, Oaklen, Shiloh, Archer and Sparrow all say in unison happily.

"Look at all of your costumes! How awesome!" A woman says and passes around a bowl. Each kid takes one, Briar asking if she can take one for her baby sister.

"Of course! There's some lollipops, she might like that!" The lady says with a smile.

"Thank you! Happy Halloween!" Briar, Judson, Kai, Oaklen, Luka, Sparrow, Archer and Shiloh all say politely,

"Happy Halloween!" The woman says with a big smile at the kids as they walk back to Tyler, Korey, Ella, Hannah, Elliott and Grace.

Briar holds out a lollipop for Juniper, loving to give it to the baby.

"Here, June! Here's a piece of candy for you!" Briar says proudly and Juniper babbles before taking the lollipop.

"Yaaaa!" Juniper says as she wants her lollipop right now.

"You can have it later, baby! Here, Mama and I bright some animal crackers! Mmmm!" Hannah says with a cheeky grin.

"Mmmm!" Juniper says happily to Hannah.

Briar, Judson, Kai, Oaklen, Luka, Sparrow, Archer and Shiloh happily run over to the next house!

"Be careful! Be careful!" Tyler says to Briar, Judson, Kai, Oaklen, Luka, Sparrow, Archer and Shiloh as he holds Korey's hand.

Briar, Judson, Kai, Oaklen, Luka, Sparrow, Archer and Shiloh go up to the next house and they happily go up the steps.

"Hello! I love your costumes!" The old lady says with a cheeky grin.

"Thank you! Trick or treat!" Briar, Judson, Kai, Oaklen, Luka, Sparrow, Archer and Shiloh all say in unison to the old lady.

The old lady happily hands out candy to each child and there's also some glow sticks as well!

All of the kids happily thank her with big smiles on their faces.

"Wow! Thank you!" Oaklen says and runs up to his moms.

Sparrow, Shiloh, Judson, Archer, Kai, Luka and Briar all walk back to the group of parents!

"Look! Here's a glow stick for you, Junebug!" Oaklen tells Juniper, who's eyes immediately light up.

Juniper was eating a few crackers but now she is distracted.

"Aaaa oooh!" Juniper tries to thank her brother, waving around the neon yellow glow stick.

"Wow, baby! Look at that!" Ella says to Juniper in a babyfied voice, trying not to get hit in the face by the toddler who was still happily shaking the plastic stick.

"Do you two have some chocolate for your dad?" Korey asks Archer and Sparrow.

"Uh huh!" Sparrow says with a happy smirk.

"Yeah! But he is going to have to share!" Archer says playfully making Tyler laugh loudly.

Shiloh does grabby hands at Elliott wanting to be held by her dad.

Elliott picks up Shiloh and grunts a little causing Shiloh to giggle.

"You are getting so big, sweety! But always my princess." Elliott says making Shiloh smile.

"Wow! Look at this house!" Briar says to everyone happily.

"So many awesome Halloween decorations! Let's go to that house next!" Hannah says causing all of the kids to cheer.

"Woah!" Judson and Oaklen both say in unison as they both get excited because they both love Halloween decorations!

Briar, Judson, Kai, Luka, Archer, Sparrow, Oaklen and Shiloh all run over to the next house!

"Look! Skeletons! How spooky!" Judson says as he giggles.

Shiloh looks a little scared of some of the decorations but the rest of the kids reassure her and help her feel less scared.

Kai rings the doorbell and taps his fingers against his leg while they wait.

A teenager and a two year old answer the door, both smiling.

"Trick or treat!" Judson, Archer, Kai, Sparrow, Shiloh, Oaklen, Briar and Kai say excitedly.

"Aww, hi! Here you go! Give them some candy, Ringo!" The teen says to her baby brother with a grin.

"Is Ringo his name?" Shiloh asks curiously,

"Yes! His name is Richard but he loves The Beatles, so we call him Ringo! Just like the drummer!" The older girl says happily.

"Thank you!" Briar, Judson, Luka, Kai, Archer, Sparrow, Oaklen and Shiloh all say to Ringo and the teenager

"Bye bye!" Ringo says with a big grin.

"Bye! Have fun!" The teenager says to Briar, Judson, Luka, Kai, Archer, Sparrow, Oaklen and Shiloh.

Briar, Judson, Luka, Kai, Archer, Sparrow, Oaklen and Shiloh all happily run back over to Tyler, Korey, Juniper, Ella, Hannah, Elliott and Grace.

"We've only been to a few houses, and look at all the cool stuff you guys have!" Grace says and she smiles.

"Yeah! Awesome stuff!" Archer says and he flaps his hands a little.

Luka also nods in agreement, feeling hyped up already.

"I guess that means you're all ready to go home now?" Korey says jokingly, warning a chorus of disagreement from Briar, Kai, Judson, Luka, Archer, Sparrow, Oaklen and Shiloh.

"Boooo!" Juniper says playfully to Korey as well.

"Oh, you're right! I'm such a goofball." Korey says with a laugh at the kids.

Briar, Kai, Judson, Luka, Archer, Sparrow, Oaklen and Shiloh all walk up to the next house together!

"Trick or treating as an adult is so boring." Korey says causing Tyler, Grace, Elliott, Ella and Hannah to all laugh.

"Welcome to parenthood!" Elliott says with a chuckle at Korey.

"Are you having fun, Junie?" Hannah asks Juniper playfully and Juniper smiles at her Mom.

"Yaaaa!" Juniper says clapping her hands.

"Trick or treat!" Briar, Kai, Judson, Luka, Archer, Sparrow, Oaklen and Shiloh all say in unison getting some more candy!

Tyler, Archer, Sparrow, Korey, Grace, Kai, Luka and Shiloh, Hannah, Briar, Judson, Oaklen, Juniper and Ella all head back to Tyler's house!

Tyler, Korey, Hannah, Ella, Grace and Elliott all chit chat in the living room, letting Crouton.

Archer, Sparrow, Kai, Luka, Shiloh, Briar, Judson and Oaklen all trade candy with each other happily while Juniper eats her lollipop making a little mess.

Tyler, Archer, Sparrow, Korey, Grace, Kai, Luka and Shiloh, Hannah, Briar, Judson, Oaklen, Juniper and Ella all had a wonderful time trick or treating together. :)
