Firestar was shocked to see Inferno as he drove up to her and Megatron from a distance in his fire engine vehicle mode before transforming back to his Autobot form. Megatron did not expect to see Firestar's former best friend arrive to intervene.

"Firestar, don't do this!" Inferno pleaded.

"Inferno, what are you doing here!?" Firestar asked in a serious tone of voice.

"I came to rescue you! Stay away from her, Megatron!" Inferno said.

"How dare you trespass here!" Megatron sneered at the Autobot. "Get behind me, Firestar," he told his sparkmate.

Firestar went behind Megatron as he aimed his fusion cannon to warn Inferno to keep his distance. Inferno powered up his weapons as he stood his ground and glared at Megatron with utter hatred in his optics.

"You will not take her from me!" Inferno yelled.

"You're a fool to confront me to win her over, Inferno," said Megatron as he powered up his weapon, much to Firestar's dismay.

"Megatron, no! Don't kill him, he doesn't know what he's doing," Firestar said. "Please let me reason with him," she asked.

Megatron looked at Firestar and then back to Inferno before he sighed in frustration and then he responded. "Fine, but make it quick," he told Firestar.

Firestar ran up to Inferno who powered down his weapons for an embrace only for the femme bot to look up at her best friend with a disappointed look on her face.

"Inferno, I thought I told you not to follow me," Firestar said to Inferno.

"I couldn't let you go with him! Firestar, I'm the one who loves you for real, not Megatron! Now please, for once in your lifetime, listen to me! Do not accept a fate worse than death." Inferno pleaded.

"I...Inferno, I'm sorry. I never wanted to hurt you, but I love Megatron and I'm going to be with him whether you like it or not!" Firestar said.

Starscream and the other Decepticons arrive in just the nick of time to aide Megatron when they see the Autobot, Inferno, begging Firestar not to marry their leader. They powered up their weapons at the intruder and Megatron lays his hand in front of Starscream and the others while ordering them to hold their fire.

"Lord Megatron, what is this Autobot doing here?!" Starscream exclaimed.

"Stand down, let Firestar speak to her friend...peacefully," Megatron ordered.

"Look, I know that you care so much about me. But if you love me, then you must let me go." Firestar told Inferno.

"But Firestar, I'm miserable without you! I cannot bear to lose you to that...that monster!" Inferno replied.

"Watch it, Autobot!" Dreadwing warned.

"Inferno, you have to let me go. I want you to leave this place." Firestar told Inferno.

"But Firestar, I don't want to lose you forever! I don't want you to get hurt. Please, be with me!" Inferno begged.

Firestar lowered her head down as she held Inferno's hands before she replied, "I'm sorry. But I'm staying with Megatron."

Inferno felt devastated by Firestar's response as the femme bot left him and walked over to Megatron with tears forming in her optics. When Inferno saw the Decepticon warlord touch Firestar by her beautiful shoulder, it triggered Inferno and he couldn't take it anymore before he aimed his weapon at Megatron.

"Don't you DARE touch my sparkmate!" Inferno snapped.

"I'm not your sparkmate, Inferno," Firestar said to her foolish friend.

"Go home, Inferno. She's done with you." Megatron told the angry and heartbroken Autobot.

"RAAGH!!! You dirty Decepticon! You seduced my Firestar and you STOLE her from me!" Inferno yelled with such rage. "I will not let you take her away from me." He grumbled.

Firestar could now sense the growing tension between her, Megatron, and Inferno. The femme bot moved closer to Megatron as he held her in his arm to protect her from her crazy, obsessive friend.

"Leave us alone!" Firestar yelled.

"Inferno, listen to yourself! You sound insane." Megatron told Inferno.

"I'LL KILL YOU!!!!" Inferno shouted in rage before he turns himself into a fire engine to run over Megatron.

Megatron gets Firestar and himself out of the way as a jealous-crazed Inferno runs into Starscream instead as the seeker yelps while being hit by the Autobot. Inferno transforms back into his robot form before he starts attacking the high-ranking Decepticons. Megatron puts a stop to the violence as he shoots his fusion cannon at Inferno in one blast, causing him to fall in pain.

"AAAAGH!!!" Inferno yelled painfully.

"It's over, Inferno," Megatron said to his love rival.

"It's never over, Megatron! Not until I make you pay for stealing my sparkmate!" Inferno yelled.

"I did NOT steal her from you! She came to me by choice and she did it out of love!" Megatron protested.

"No! You're lying!" Inferno replied.

"Just go, Inferno! Please, just go and depart from us." Firestar told Inferno. "Don't ever come back to me again. It's for your good."

"Listen to her!" Megatron yelled at Inferno. "Don't ever come near her or me EVER again," he said.

The Autobot hesitated and then he powered down his weapons before he said one final sentence to both Megatron and Firestar before he leaves.

"I will never forgive you for this," Inferno said coldly.

As soon as Inferno runs away, feeling utterly betrayed by his best friend that he adored so much, Firestar couldn't help but cry on Megatron's shoulder with tears coming down from her optics. Megatron comforted his conjunx-to-be as he held her tightly with a passionate hug.
