THE TWO GIRLS had a plan. it wasn't a well thought out plan, but it was a plan for starters.

new york. that was their next destination.

the two teenagers went home immediately to pack their things. michaela suggested to rue the both of them should run away. and to michaela's surprise, rue agreed.

the plan was simple, both girls would pack clothes and any other items they may need. they would leave a note for their moms saying they was moving in with a friend and would call once a week.

they knew if they had asked their parents up front it would be an immediate no. but if they gave their moms reassurance of contact, it shouldn't be too hard.

michaela was turning 18 in less than a month. her mom knew she would move out as soon as she got the chance. so she knew come tuesday morning when her mom would wake up. she wouldn't be too shocked.

rue on the otherhand, she had only just turned 17. given she was a grade below michaela. her mom would be absolutely furious, but for once, rue didn't care. she had become cowardly when the opportunity came up with jules.

and this time, she wanted her life to go her way.

MICHAELA KISSED maddy gently on the forehead after she had packed two bags to leave with. she had packed her favourite clothes, her favourite books. and taken her trust fund money for when she would turn 18.

gently closing the door of her old home. her eyes met with rue who was standing at the end of her front lawn. it had to have been past midnight so the two girls had to hurry if they wanted to catch a train.

at first they decided they would go to a hotel and order one room for a couple nights. in the time they was at the hotel they could look for easy jobs that would at least bring in a little bit of money.

and they also had the money that belonged to michaela. she wasn't sure how much was in the box, but she knew her grandparents and parents had been keeping aside money for both michaela and maddy when they turn of age.

rue had packed herself some clothes, sanitary needs along with a few music CDs and some of her stash she got from fez. it only consisted of tobacco for roll ups now though, given she used it up too quickly for fez's liking.

and so the two girls walked to the train station. ready to start a new life, to forget the trouble this world can cause. and try to start fresh. for the benefit of the both of them.

"are you sure?" michaela asked rue as they walked into the train station ready to purchase their tickets. "i'm sure." she confirmed as she interlocked her fingers with michaela's and led them both to the counter

"two tickets to new york please." michaela said with a genuine smile on her lips. "the last train leaves in 20 minutes." the blonde women on the opposite side of the glass told them. "that'll be six dollars total." the blonde women confirmed as rue fiddled with some change in her trouser pocket.

"here." rue said timidly as she passed the cash to the blonde women. she took the change in her hand and placed it inside the till. after typing in some buttons to the computer, the sound of buzzing pierced the air as two tickets was printed.

"you're train is on platform 9." the blonde smiled passing the tickets to michaela. the girls nodded in gratitude and made their way to the platform.

making their way to their new lives together.

sorry i haven't updated! i've been spending christmas with my family, i hope everyone enjoyed their christmas too despite the condition the world is in right now.

anyhow, this is kind of a filler chapter, but i promise the next chapters WILL be a lot more descriptive and have more of a plot line!

also let me know what sort of plots you guys want to happen in the near future.
