∆No Quirk?∆

It's usually normal. It really is, but after the attack Katsuki Bakugou was acting strange. He'd run to Aizawa or another pro hero everytime someone mentioned something about a quirk or even about heros. Midoriya was the first to notice it, he then went to tell the Deku-squad, them all wanting answers.

The Deku-squad all sat in Midoriya's room, Tenya on the floor with Tsu while Uraraka and Shoto sat in the All Might bean bags. Midoriya paced back and forth mumbling to himself, making Shoto roll his eyes. "Midoriya, you're mumbling again." the boy stopped and looked at him, a sigh escaping his lips.

"Sorry Todoroki-kun, it's just" the boy passed before plopping down on his bed. "Kacchan seems scared. He barely trains with us anymore and his explosive attitude has died down, a lot. I don't get it. I'm sure the others have noticed by now." the room went quiet once again, until Tsu spoke.

"Why don't we go to Aizawa, ribbit?" the group nodded and headed to the common room, Aizawa was ment to be there to help with the tv, Denki broke the screen, somehow. When they reached their destination they noticed that Midnight and Vlad was there as well, Katsuki was sitting on the couch, letting Eri do his nails a pink color. Midoriya sighed lightly and walked over to his teacher, tapping the man on the shoulder, getting his attention.

"Yes problem child?"

"What's going on with Kacchan? He's calmer, he doesn't train with us and I rarely see him use his quirk, he even runs off if you mention anything about a quirk, what's.going.on." the boys' voice was stern, as if he was ready to fight someone who just broke his limited edition All Might figurine. Aizawa and the other two pros in the room all turned to look at him, his face was scrunched up, He's pissed.

Aizawa sighed. "Look, Bakugou got into it with a villain, remember?" the group nodded, telling him to continue. "Right, when he was hit by the villain, the villain's quirk did something to him."

"What?! What did it do?!" Shoto asked quickly, he wanted to make sure the boy was ok, the two of them are close, very close.

"It took his quirk." the group remained silent, letting what they just heard sink in.

"So..youre saying that Kacchan has no quirk?" Aizawa nodded.

"He's quirkless?" Midoriya gritted his teeth and threw his arms into the air, spinning around to face the brunette.

"NO! HE'S NOT! HE HAS HIS QUIRK! HE'S GONNA BE A HERO! WHAT DO YOU THINK URARAKA?!" after his little outburst, Uraraka broke down. "I-I'm sorry..I didn't mean to yell." the boy apologized to the female, Aizawa sighed again when he saw the devastating look on Shoto's face. Katsuki, who was sitting on the couch, walked up to the group, everyone becoming silent.

"Look, I'm fine. The guy who did it was caught two days ago..just, he said he couldn't bring my quirk back, and that's ok! I'll be fine!" Midoriya looked at the boy with a worried face.

"No! It's not ok! No! You won't be fine!" he shouted. "Someone will need to protect you when pros aren't there!" Katsuki gave the boy a sympathetic look and hugged him, Midoriya wanted to cry, the one he looked up to didn't have what he needed to be him. The green haired boy didn't want to let go of his friend, sure, they had their fights but they were getting better. The two separated and Katsuki hugged Shoto, at first, it was a shock to everyone including the multicolored male but after, it seemed to become a small norm.

Shoto hugged him back, not wanting to let go, Katsuki didn't want to let go either. When they pulled apart a grin was set on the short blond's face. "We can be friends ya weirdo." Shoto smiled widely and hugged the boy again. "Hah! Put me down! Put me down!" the group laughed at the two of them, but, it didn't change the fact that one kid, who had the potential of being a hero, couldn't be a hero. Not anymore.

What it did change, was how Katsuki was around everyone, his clothing changed so he could wear things that Momo made perfectly fine. Shoto and Katsuki ended up getting closer, many of the girls thinking they were together. Aizawa told Katsuki's father and mother about the situation, the mother wanting the boy back home and the father saying 'no'. That resulted in a long week for both Katsuki and the class.

He didn't become a hero, instead, he became a manager at Best Jeanists' designer company; taking on his father's job.

He didn't become a hero, but his friends and family did.

He didn't become a hero, but he did to those who knew his name.

He didn't become a hero, but in Class 1-A's hearts and eyes, he was the best hero that there was. Even if he was quirkless.
