"Wei Qianbei, do we need to burn the body? I want Da Ge to rest in peace right now," Lan Xichen hummed sadly as they surrounded the body.

"Zewu Jun, I think it's better if Da Ge go kill his murderer first," Wei Wuxian let out a sigh.

"Xiongzhang," Lan Wangji called out his brother.

"En, the matters of Man Eating Castle have solved but the appearance of Ghost General Wen Ning haven't yet. I didn't expect Xiaofu Jun caught him. Nie Huaisang and I already talked about the event of Guanyin Temple soon. We already made a plan so you guys can play along the part from Koi Tower to Guanyin Temple, also the Second Siege of the Burial Mounds. We both will be absent at Burial Mounds and stay safe," Lan Xichen explained.

"Ah, I think we'll gonna let the kids to keep secrets about Wen Ning. They already saw Wen Ning with us too- Ah! Ouyang Zizhen," Wei Wuxian exclaimed as he forgot about someone who was also with them earlier.

"Hmm? I though only Jin Ling, Sizhui and Jingyi are with you guys. Don't worry, I will get him before he completely returned to Baling. It takes 2 days to reach Baling from Yunmeng," Lan Xichen responded.

"Kids, don't tell anyone about Wen Ning, okay?" Wei Wuxian reminded the juniors. It was morning, they would take their leave to return to their own sect today. Lan Xichen already went off to find Ouyang Zizhen.

"We're not your kids!" Jin Ling and Lan Jingy exclaimed together.

"We will but may we ask, why?" Lan Sizhui asked.

"Ah, it's a command from Zewu Jun. That's why he went off to find Ouyang Zizhen earlier. He told us that he don't want the people in Discussion Conference will go like, "Huh?! Yiling Laozu has really returned! Mo Xuanyu- No, Wei Wuxian! He dares to return?!" something like that just because I managed to control him somehow. The owner has already died anyways," Wei Wuxian explained. The Lan juniors nodded obediently at him.

"Hmm... Okay then. I'll promise to you that I'll not gonna talk about Wen Ning with anyone else, especially my Jiang family. You will be a dead meat once my uncle find you if I told him," Jin Ling scoffed and looked away.

"But in one condition, Mo Qianbei," Lan Jingy put out one finger as he wanted something.

"That is?" Wei Wuxian knitted one of his eyebrows.

"Let's us meet the Ghost General Wen Ning!" Jin Ling immediately choked on his own saliva as soon as Lan Jingyi finished. Lan Sizhui and Lan Wangji only stayed silent, looking confused while Wei Wuxian was suprised by him.

"Jingyi! Really? I also wanna meet him in person..." Jin Ling mumbled but could be by all of them. This made the couple more suprised.

Lan Sizhui let out a soft scoffed and asked him, "Jin Ling, I'm not going to be rude and let me ask you one question as I too, want to meet him. What makes you want to meet him as he is the one who... murdered your parents-"

"Shh, I don't care. I wanna meet him. I just want to see if his face really shows a murderer of my father or just being control by Yiling Laozu. I will put all the blames on Yiling Laozu if the second answer is it, even if I just feel slightly hatreds towards to both of them at all," Jin Ling explained. The Lan juniors were suprised by him.

Wei Wuxian only put a kind smile on his face. He felt relieved that both of Jin Ling and Jiang Cheng didn't really loathed him. He also felt grateful that those Jiang siblings were able to protect Jin Ling from bullying which gonna made him being sensitive about being an orphan.

"Hmm, alright. We should meet him somewhere from here," he led them to somewhere.

They arrived at the middle of the forest. Wei Wuxian summoned Wen Ning for them. The Lan juniors were looking excitedly and admirably at him while Jin Ling had a judging expression on his face. Wen Ning knew that the juniors hadn't know about Wei Wuxian's identity yet so he decided to play along.

"Ghost General Wen Ning, it was nice to meet you in person. You look very harmless to us," Lan Sizhui stated with a kind smile.

Wen Ning rubbed behind his head and smile awkwardly which made Lan Sizhui widened his smile. He wanted to communicate with the Ghost General more.

"I'm Lan Yuan, courtesy name Lan Sizhui. May I allow to call you Wen Ning?" Lan Sizhui introduced himself. Wen Ning startled at his birthname. He knew that Lan Wangji was taken care of their A-Yuan and gave him his courtesy name.

"Weh, Sizhui. Did you forget our rules? Hanguang Jun," Lan Jingyi scolded him and looked at Lan Wangji, looked for an approval.

Lan Sizhui immediately panicked and also looked at him, hoped he didn't get a punishment. Somehow, Lan Wangji only shooked his head as a disapproval and left Lan Jingyi speechless. Lan Sizhui immediately nodded and smile at him as an appreciation.

"Alright. May I call you A-Yuan too? You really look like a distance cousin of mine," Wen Ning let out a soft giggle.

"R-really?" Lan Sizhui rubbed behind his head and looked away, didn't know what to respond with.

"Really!" Wen Ning had a star gaze on his eyes.

For some reason, Lan Sizhui felt like he seemed to have seen the Ghost General's face somewhere before. Lan Jingyi scoffed and looked away with his arms crossed, he didn't know that both of them just got along so well after a meeting. The couple only smiled at them.

And there was Jin Ling, still looked up and down at Wen Ning with a judging expression. Wen Ning felt little uneased as he knew that Jin Ling knew about his father's 'murderer'. The next thing happened wasn't expected by him at all.

"You. You don't seem a murderer of my father. Mind explain? One lie and I will no hesitate cutting you down," Jin Ling crossed his arms, waited for the explaination. Wen Ning was stunned by it.

"The day of your father's death... He is really died by my hand. I am indeed in controlled but not by Master Wei. Someone managed to control me and which made him framing Master for killing your father. I can tell the different sound of their flute and it is indeed someone else. Master Wei didn't have a time to control me as he got distracted.

I am very sorry for killing your father," Wen Ning finished his explaination and immediately kneeled down in front of Jin Ling. Jin Linh was slightly panicked and stopped Wen Ning from kneeling down. He was overwhelmed by all the words from Wen Ning.

"See? I knew it. Everyone can control any Ghost General as the master is not in control of it," Wei Wuxian proudly said it out loud.

"... I totally believed in you both and I forgive you, Wen Ning. The real culprit who killed my father and framed Yiling Laozu will be the death on my hand! I knew that Yiling Laozu is innocent and I will not spare any mercy on the real culprit!" Jin Ling exclaimed loudly as he clenched his fist.

The Lan juniors felt relieved and joined him too. Wei Wuxian let out a soft chuckled and Lan Wangji too, felt relieved about it. They felt confident that Jin Ling would not gonna stab Wei Wuxian once he revealed himself at Koi Tower.

"Also, one condition," Jin Ling copied Lan Jingyi just like earlier. Wei Wuxian felt the corner of his mouth twitched.

"That is?" he obediently waited for the answer.

"I swear in the name of God and my parents, from now on, I will not go nighthunt with one of my uncles and aunt Jiang anymore. Lan Sizhui, Lan Jingyi, congratulation for being in my friends list. Ghost General Wen Ning, congrats to you too. You guys will have to nighthunt with me from now on.

I also swear on Zewu Jun that I- we would not everyone know about Wen Ning. We're willingly to take any risk from Wen Ning about his identity," Jin Ling dramatically put his hand on his chest, said with full of respects. All of them were left speechless by him.

"... Jin Ling? Seriously? Us? With Wen Ning too? In your friends list?" Lan Jingyi asked him with both of his hands rested on his waist, judging expression all over his face.

"Ah... Jin Ling, I would appreciated about it. I will protect you guys from any danger," Wen Ning awkwardly promised to him.

Jin Ling now had full of proud and confident all over his face as he finally made friends, even the Ghost General was his friend. He felt relieved that he don't need his uncles or aunt Jiang's company no more. Wei Wuxian mentally facepalmed and also proud of him that he finally accepted the Lan juniors as his friends, even the Ghost General. What a miracle indeed.
