Batman was out of options one wrong move Scarecrow will inject Lucius or worse kill him 

He stood silently thinking of his next move and then....

.....he looked at Lucius who nodded in a plead not to do the unthinkable.....

.....He pulled off his mask revealing Bruce under it

Bruce: Take your best shot Crane. 

Scarecrow in shock instantly let go Lucius by dropping him not believing what he witnessed 

Scarecrow: WAYNE?! Bruce Wayne? You're the.....but...it's impossible! You Wayne's only take what they want! You'd never! 

Scarecrow then pauses in thought

Scarecrow: Of course....that's what drove you....the murder of your parents. That's what drove you. In a way Thomas Wayne created both of us! His betrayal made me. His death made you. But now...fear will un make you!

Crane waved his needles but suddenly the doors barged open 

Bruce and Scarecrow looked over Zatanna finally entered the room

Zatanna: BRUCE! 

Bruce: Zat?

Scarecrow: The great Zatanna. You survived the fire as wonderell. And it would make a hell of lot of sense that you would help Batman...cause Bruce Wayne was your childhood friend and teenage beloved...but I wonder....what you fear....

Zatanna: I'm sure we can find out what you fear! 

Scarecrow charges at Zatanna 

But Zatanna blasts her beams at him

The screen goes fully white with a screeching sound of a speaker set in

The screen slowly regains focus showing Scarecrow blind from Zatanna's beams

Soon as he regained his sight Bruce and Zat stood together waiting for Crane's next move

Bruce: Give it up Scarecrow.  It's over.

Zatanna: Make it easy on yourself and surrender. 

Scarecrow: Surrender....to a Wayne?! Never again! It cost me everything! My career! The woman I love! And now I'll cost YOU everything!

Scarecrow attacks and Bruce pushed Zatanna aside he grabs Crane by both arms and both struggled one another 

But suddenly Scarecrow pulls his needle hand free...and STABS Bruce in the chest 

Zatanna: BRUCE! 

Bruce fell looking up at Scarecrow 

Scarecrow laughed 

Scarecrow: The Wayne Legacy finally falls....in fears.

Zatanna: No. You will.

Crane turned to her seeing Zatanna smirking at him

Scarecrow frowned in confusion and to his surprise...Bruce came from behind her

Scarecrow: What the....Wayne...but....

Zatanna: A magician always has her secrets.

Crane looked down and it turned out.....

.......Zatanna pulled another trick she created an allusion for Scarecrow that he injected Bruce again but what he saw....

....in reality....

....he injected.....

......HIMSELF

Clever!

Scarecrow began hallucinating from his own fear toxin he panicked and when he turns back to Bruce 

He saw him as Demon Batman from hell

Scarecrow screams in terror and he ran out the patio window 

Bruce and Zatanna (Both): NO!!!!!!!

He crashed through the glass ran towards the rail and he tips over falling off the 50 story building 

Bruce and Zatanna ran out looking down he was too far to grapple back up 

Gordon and the police saw Crane falling in shock 

Gordon: Oh my god.....

Scarecrow falls on and on screaming until.....

.....off screen he hits the ground BOOM

Bruce and Zatanna watched the Scarecrow's death in horror and shock it was unimaginable 

They looked each other and and embraced 

Robin and Nightwing finally showed up but were too late but they untied Lucius as Bruce and Zatanna came back in and he grabs his mask and putting it back on

Batman: Are you alright Lucius?

Lucius: Besides my pride I'll live. I should have known Crane had someone on the inside. I don't how else the lock downs were down.

Batman: Don't be hard on yourself. Did you two shut down the Fogburst? 

Robin: It's useless as a disabled microwave. 

Batman: Good work Robin.  Nightwing? It was an honor to have you along again. 

Nightwing: Well just know it's not gonna be often. New work's too good in Bludhaven. 

Batman: And Zat....thanks.

Zatanna: My pleasure....but Bruce there's something you should know.

Zatanna shows Batman Martha's necklace 

Which shocked everyone especially Bruce 

Batman: My mother's necklace. Why do you have it?

Zatanna: Because I got them back for you....

Zatanna made a sad expression 

Zatanna:.....from Selina.

Batman's heart.....broke

(With Scarecrow defeated....but now knowing the truth about Selina.....it didn't feel like a victory.......)
