Bruce wakes up 

To see himself being injected by Alfred of an n treating the toxin in his serum 

So was Selina and Lucius Lesley and Barbra were there

Zatanna smiles down at him

Zatanna: Hey big guy.

Bruce: Hey...

Bruce looked around making sure Joker didn't pop up again that he really cast him out of his head

And he didn't but Alfred looked concerned 

Alfred: What are you looking for sir?

Bruce: Nothing. But how long has it been?

Alfred: Two days. I called Mr. Fox and Dr. Tonkins when your condition hit the worse.

Lesley: I took a blood test and that virus was unlike anything from medical records. 

Lucius: But when I isolated it I managed to sytinsize an antidote for you and Selina. 

Bruce: Think you can make more? If any of Scarecrow's victims are alive they're gonna need it.

Lucius: I'll work on what I can. 

Soon enough Selina regain consciousness 

Selina: Where am I? 

Barbra: In the Batcave. You're safe.

Selina: Why do I feel like crap? 

Tim: Must be the side effects.

Bruce: Tim??

Tim: Oh yeah....the only reason I'm here....cause Wayne Manor burnt to the ground and we ducked down here.

Bruce: So you...

Tim: Know you're Batman yes. And don't worry it's not like I know anyone who don't know it.  Plus...guess I'll keep it for letting me stay.

Bruce: And the manor....you say it's burned down?

Alfred: Unfortunately sir.

Bruce faced down with his family house now gone

Zatanna felt for him

Bruce: Everything my family built. My father's built. Gone. 

Alfred: What he built was more than just bricks sir. It lives on through you. What happens to it now depends on you.

Zatanna: We'll always keep fighting for the Wayne line. Besides Gotham needs you.

Lucius: Crane stole ES6. And if he sets it off its likely he'll infect the city with that gas he sprayed you with.

Bruce: What do we know about the ES6?

Lucius: It's what Wayne Enterprises call it what I call it.....is the Fogburst.

Tim: Fogburst? 

Lucius: It reduces any cloud or smoke related. The military used it to blind the enemy units from any infiltration attacks.  But if Crane uses it with his toxin....it could be caterstraughtic.

Selina didn't like the sound of it which is why she gets out of bed making everyone turned to her

Bruce: Where you think you're going?

Selina: Out of this city. I already been through that toxic and once was barely enough. 

Barbra: You're leaving? When many innocents need our help?

Bruce: As I remember you agreed to help me stop Scarecrow. 

Selina: That was before he drugged me. Next time I could run out all of my lives. 

Bruce: Selina We already have an antidote. It should protect us.

Selina: Look I wanna help. I really do. But this....we're talking a deadly drug that makes you see things. And I saw Max Shrek....as a monster. More than he was before. I can't get in that again. I just can't. 

Bruce: So where you gonna go? 

Selina: I don't know.  But far away from that stuff as possible 

Zatanna saw the way Bruce was disappointed Selina was just walking away she could tell he was hurt

Selina: I'm sorry Bruce....good luck with all this. 

Selina turns and walks away but....Zatanna runs after her 

Soon as she was close to the stairs Zatanna shouts out to her

Zatanna: Hey!

Selina turns around looking serious

Zatanna: I was told everything about you. And I know you can't be THAT bad enough to coward off when Bruce needs you.

Selina: From where I'm standing he needs you more. I saw you two at the fundraiser. 

Zatanna: Selina I've grown up with Bruce. And I knew him enough to see how he looks at you. I know you're not as heartless as you act like. 

Selina: Maybe maybe not but Gotham is on fire and I'm not gonna burn with it. If you were smart you'd leave too.

Zatanna: Gotham is my home Selina. I won't abandon it again. 

Selina: See? You sound just like Bruce. Hero's aren't meant to last. That's probably why I'm not into it. Yeah I seen him put out a few fires but never a volcano. Besides....he'd never give this up if I stayed. Not even for me. He wouldn't even do it for Alfred.

Zatanna: Selina....heed me on this. If you walk out now....you'll regret it. And you might loose your last chance with any happiness with Bruce. And believe me Selina...they ALWAYS regret it.

Selina said nothing part of her was even hesitant to walk out

But....she did

Selina casually walks up the stairs to the aftermath of Wayne Manor and.....with Martha Wayne's pearl necklace in her pocket 

Zatanna sighed

(Has Selina sunk low enough she'll never climb back up? Zatanna has warned her....)
