Meanwhile at Wayne Tower 

A security guard at the front desk was reading a magazine while eating a donut

He didn't notice some people walking in the screen shows their legs walking  in

But soon as he did see them it was already too late

A gun was fired and the guard was SHOT in the head and dead instantly

Those same people in costumes stormed in the hall

With the mystery figure behind them

But as they approach an elevator they crossed a security laser silently setting an alarm

In his office Lucius was on his phone talking to his wife

Lucius: I know I haven't been home much just Mr. Wayne and I are working something big. I know it's not the first time I said that but it's more bigger than unimaginable. I know the kids want me to be there I'll find a way to make it up to them.

Soon enough Lucius saw the alarm on his computer

Lucius: Tanya I'm gonna have to call you back. Something just came up.

Fox cuts off and he went on his computer to look at surveillance he saw the dead guard at the front desk

Lucius: No....

He typed in more and saw a hatted shadow leave a room

He went to the next one and then....

.....he saw the costumed group

Lucius: Good lord....

Fox went on his phone not to call the police......

.....out in the city the Batmobile rode on with Batman and Batgirl fallowing a lead

Batgirl: This gets better by the minute.  The shadow we been chasing is using more effective toxin than the last. What's his end game or she?

Batman: We need a sample of Knox's blood. If we can counter anything from it not only can we make a counter agent but possibly ID it.

Batgirl: Then I guess it's down to Gotham General.

Before Batman could reply the computer on the Batmobile interments showed a call from Lucius

Batgirl: It's Lucius.

Bruce connects the call

Batman: Yes Lucius.

*Bruce! You need to get down to Wayne Tower at once.*

Batgirl: What's happening?

*There are intruders in the building. Individuals in costumes.*

Batman: Stay out of sight we're on our way.

Bruce cuts the line as Barbra went on her phone she was sending texts to Dick

B: Trouble at Wayne Tower! Need your help.

It took a minute but Dick did reply

D: On the way.

Batgirl: Dick's on his way.

Batman: Good. Time to go to work.

Batman hits the gas and the Batmobile speeds off to Wayne Enterprises

There another guard sitting in the room containing the safe

But suddenly Elevator doors opened the costumed goons and the shadow figure walk in and before he knew it he was injected by the claw of needles like Chip Shrek

He yelled out but then what he hallucinated....we're spiders on his arms

Guard: Daaah! Spiders! No! Get em off me! Get off me! AAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!

The guard dropped on the floor panicked

The figure finally stepped out of the shadows revealing himself on screen for the first time

The Scarecrow makes his official appearance 

But his beef with the Wayne's is still soon to be learned

Goon # 1: I never asked but what does that stuff do Boss?

Scarecrow: A suffering delusional episode causing aggressive anxiety in primitive fear response. Apprealy the result on our friend here confirmed Arachnid Thobia. 

Goon # 2: What's a Waka Thoma?

Scarecrow: ARACHNID THOBIA! It's a fear of Spiders you uneducated fool! Now to the vault.

They marched over to the vault as Scarecrow gives orders

Scarecrow: Rickie Jack you're on guard duty. William Mathew access the safe keys. The rest of you start pouring the gasoline.

The costumed henchmen started fallowing their orders

But up on the roof Batman and Batgirl glided over and landed on it

Batman: Lucius. We're here. Where are you?

*I barricaded myself in the lab. I'm looking at the security cameras in here I see them at the vault. Oh God they're pouring gasoline!*

Batgirl: What'd they trying to do? Burn the place down?!

Batman: Not if we stopped them. When will Robin be here?

Batgirl: Ten minutes. We'll have to hold them off till he gets here.

Batman: Agreed.

The bat duo enter the building through the roof entrance

Back in the safe room the costumed henchmen cracked the safe pulling it open as the others poured the last of the gasoline

Goon # 3: All set boss.

Scarecrow: Good. Take anything you can then burn the rest. This will send the message to the Wayne's to know their worst fears have come to life!

Batman and Batgirl hid behind the walls of the doorway

Batgirl: They're armed.

Batman: Then we'll plant a distraction.

Batman takes a smoke bomb rolls it in the room and bursts smoke catching the guards off guard and coughed out

Scarecrow and the goons in the safe heard commotion and soon enough in the confusion the Bat Duo bested the goons down drawing out the rest

Soon as the smoke cleared Batman approaches the safe just for goons to come out and gasp

Goons : BATMAN!!!

The Dark Knight kicks the first goon and clocks the second one in the jaw

Soon as Scarecrow steps out he see's him too his eyes widen under his mask but lowered in a smirk under it

Soon enough Bruce see's him too and make direct eye contact

Scarecrow: So....at last I meet the legendary Batman. I heard rumors you were some giant mutation hybrid man-bat. The way you strike fear in Gotham inspired me.

Batman: Who are you?

Scarecrow: Your worst nightmare.

Scarecrow launched his needles

But Batman dodges them and sucker punches him in the face

Batgirl handles two remaining goons 

And soon enough....

.....Robin bursts through the skyline and kicks one of them from behind

Batgirl: About time.

Robin: Stuck in traffic. We got talk after this.

Batgirl sighs and they continued fighting the goons

While fighting the Scarecrow Batman launches a kick knocking him down

A goon that recovered attacks Batman from behind long enough for Scarecrow found a gun on the floor from one of his men he grabs it and Batgirl see's him with it and just when Bruce defeats the goon....

.....Barbra see's the new enemy point his gun at her friend

Batgirl: NO!

The gun fires in slow mode Batman turns and as the slow motion progresses Batgirl jumps between Bruce and the bullet and the bullet.....was sharp enough...

....to cut through Barbra's suit and breaking her spinal cord from the inside

Batgirl falls hard bleeding

 And Robin turns as the motion shifts back to normal

Robin: NOOOOOOO!!!!

Robin tends to her as Batman was shocked and turns to Scarecrow in rage as he runs out of the safe....but the Dark Knight gives chase
