Ride through Gotham on the way to Wayne Tower  

Whatever Scarecrow was plotting they knew he had to be stopped 

Batman and Robin fills Nightwing on everything he missed while he was away 

Nightwing: SO LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT! THE SCARECROW IS YOUR DAD'S OLD BUDDY AND HE WANTS REVENGE ON YOU FOR YOUR DAD FIRING HIM?!

Batman: Something like that. Johnathan Crane stole one of my father's inventions he made for the military.  The ES6.  But commonly known as the Fogburst. 

Robin: Barbra and Zatanna are back at the cave. She's under an account called Oracle. Dr. Tonkins is giving Scarecrow's victims the cure. 

Nightwing: GOOD TO KNOW! 

Soon as both vehicles pulled up in the parking garage of Wayne Enterprises GCPD were on the scene Gordon....in civilian clothing 

Batman: Jim.

Gordon: I told ya....one last case.

Robin: Didn't the Mayor fire you? 

Gordon: More like put me off duty. I may or may not ever find the bastard that crippled my daughter but I still intend to put away this Scarecrow guy for almost killing her at Wayne Manor. But poor Bruce Wayne and Zatanna Zatarra....

Batman:.....are safe. I got them out myself. 

Scarecrow in Bruce's office see's Batman talking to Gordon on security footage and overheard what he told him.

Scarecrow: Wayne lives....perfect. Now he will see his family legacy fall.

He turns to Lucius tied up on the office chair 

Scarecrow: Seems your boss lives Lucius....making this day better than I hope.

Back below Gordon explains the situation to the Dynamic Trio 

Gordon: That device they stole from Wayne is on the roof. We only have till midnight before he set it off. And all of Gotham will be filled with that gas.

Batman: We won't let that happen Jim. Wayne gave us the disarm codes to deactivate it. Perminately. 

Gordon: Then you better hurry. Only 25 minutes left.

Batman: Right.

Batman turns to Nightwing and Robin 

Batman: I'll handle Scarecrow. You two get to the roof and shut down the Fogburst. 

Robin: We're on it.

Nightwing and Robin head for a side door where a stair case to the building was in they shoot their grapples and lefts up 

Batman takes the elevator to the upper floors to confront Scarecrow 

Up above the roof Dagget with a few of Scarecrow's men 

They got word Batman was here and Dagget wasn't happy about it 

Dagget: Batman? Dammit! We need to abort before he gets here.

*I'm afraid he's the least of your worries right now.*

Dagget and the costumed goons around and to their surprise....it was Zatanna 

Dagget: YOU?! 

Zatanna: Thought Scarecrow killed me didn't you? Just like you killed my dad.

Dagget: So that's why you're back in Gotham. To avenge daddy magician. He wouldn't be feeding the worms if he accepted my father's offer.

Zatanna: I'm not here for revenge Dagget. I'm here for justice. To make sure you die in a cell.

Dagget: In your dreams kid. I'm dying on the beach.

Scarecrow's men attack but Zatanna fought them off

Meanwhile Batman exits the elevator where five of Scarecrow's men stood outside the office and flinched Batman fights them all off

He beat them all down one by one

Soon as they were all down for the count The Dark Knight entered the office for the final confrontation with the Master of Fears 

Scarecrow: Ahh Batman.  You survived my trap at the Asylum. And now you've come to join my tea party.

Batman: It's over Crane. Let Lucius Fox go. 

Scarecrow: Oh I'll let him go....but I want one favor from you first. I heard you told told Gordon you saved Bruce Wayne from the fire. So I'll make a trade with you. I'll give you Fox IF you bring me Bruce Wayne. Or I could set off the Fogburst early and we'll all watch Gotham tare itself apart through fear. 

Batman: Why Wayne? He's not responsible for your research's falling. You brought that on yourself.

Scarecrow: THOMAS WAYNE HUMILIATED ME! And now I will humiliate his son.....through his own fears.

As Bruce and Crane continued talking Zatanna continues fighting off Scarecrow's men on the roof 

Soon enough Nightwing and Robin arrived 

Nightwing: Who's that?

Robin: She's a friend? 

Robin and Nightwing join the fighting
