Later the Batmobile rides through Gotham on the way to the scene 

But from behind it the Robin Cycle and Bat Cycle ridden by Robin 

And Batgirl 

When joining up the three vehicles rode in across a bridge on the way to the diner Robin chines in to Batman's communications 

Robin: SO WHAT'S THE SCOOP BOSS?!

Batman: A disturbance went down at Pauline's diner. 

Batgirl: MY DAD USE TO GO THERE FOR COFFEE WHEN HE WAS POLICE CAPTAIN.  WONDER IF HE STILL REMEMBERS THE PLACE.

Batman: Guess we'll find out.

Soon enough the Dynamic Trio pulls up to the same diner from earlier where police were already on the scene 

After exiting their vehicles they were greeted by Gordon Bullock and a female cop (Geena Davis) with them

Bullock: Speak of the actual devil.

Batman: So what's the scoop now?

Gordon: A freaking mess. Some riot went down here....from the inside. Funny thing was....poor Knox was here when it happened. He's down at Gotham General now. 

Batman: Guess he was here the wrong time. Any idea what caused it?

Female Cop: Afraid that's police classified. Unless the Commissioner shares that info with you. 

Batman: And you are?

Gordon: This is Sgt Renée Montoya. She was one of deputies during the Riddler case. Was promoted after we put away Bane.

Montoya: It's a pleasure to meet you. All three of you.

She shook all three of their hands 

Batman: Likewise. 

Gordon: Anyway it's a mess in there like I said so...might as well take a look yourself. 

Gordon leads the trio into the diner

And inside they could see Gordon weren't kidding it was a mess....carnage really

Robin: My god....

Batgirl: What happened here?

Gordon: We have no idea. What weirds me out more is the survivors were at a panic like they saw bloody murder even when we arrived. They were screaming like we were gonna shoot them. 

Robin: So....they were just scared of you?

Gordon: From the looks of it Yeah.

Batgirl: People can't just be scared of everyone....something had to set them off.

Batman: Or someone. 

Gordon: A new player?

Batman: Maybe. 

Robin: Where do all these guys come from?

Batman initiates a new scanning device from his belt curtisy of Lucius himself 

He scanned everything as Robin and Batgirl looked around for clues 

Batgirl found one of the air vents and something wasn't right about it she rubbed the vents and found some thick dust charting it and realize it could be a clue

Batgirl: Batman.  You better take a look at this.

Batman walks over to her with Gordon behind him Barbra shows Bruce the thick dust and he scans it his result showed traces of toxin

Batman: Scan analysis confirms traces of toxin. 

Robin: Toxin? Like poison? 

Batman: Something like that. But not like any poison I've ever seen. It was sprayed from the vents.

Robin: Someone would have to pump it from the vent machines inside.

Batman grins impressed with his junior partner 

As did Batgirl 

Robin: What? I know how these things work.

Outside the Bat trio and Gordon later took a look at the vent machines and did find something odd inside 

There was an lab container with fog stains in it

Bruce takes it out and scans it and found matching results from the same toxin 

Batman: These traces match. Someone planted this in there connected it in the vents pumping toxin in the diner.

Gordon: Reminds me when Joker poised everyone at the museum. 

Robin: Guessing our new super villain is a copycat.

Batman: Unlikely.  The Joker used deadlier toxin than this. This is something new.

Batgirl: Think we might ID it more on the Batcomputer. 

Batman: Agreed. I'll even need a blood sample from Knox.  If he has any of that toxin in his system he'll need a counter agent. 

Gordon: Gotham's wild enough like a house on fire. Now I'm starting to smell smoke. 

Batman: But from Mayor Hill I hear you won't have to worry about that soon.

Gordon: So the Mayor told you about my retirement. Only ones who know is my daughter colleagues and him. Guess you three are marked on that list now.

Batgirl: I'm sure your daughter would feel safe with you retired Commissioner. 

Gordon: Can't argue with that. She wouldn't fallow her dreams while still a cop in my old age.

Batman: Everything in Gotham always counts Commissioner.....even those you love. 

Gordon: You always know what to say. But this maybe my last case with you. 

Batman: Then we'll catch him together....for old times sake.

Robin nods giving he's planning to leave too
