Inside the base mercs were passing around in halls

Nothing seem to be out of the ordinary......

.....or so they thought 

The Dark Knight watched them all from above in his vision mode

Robin had the same vision mode 

As Catwoman had some newly night vision goggles to detect heat and shiny signatures 

As for Batgirl.....

.....she had her own custom made night vision goggles whoever she was behind her mask seemed to have intellects 

They had eyes everywhere the mercs suspected nothing till it was too late

When one was alone he looked up to see Batman coming at him from above 

And snatched....

......taken up

Robin hides behind a wall listening to a conversation between two mercs

Merc # 1: So what does Bane want with that Freeze guy?

Merc # 2: They're both after the same chemicals. Freeze needs it to fix his dead woman and the boss needs it for his own methods. That's why they're breaking in into this Gothcorp top secret lab later tonight. 

Merc # 2: But I thought that Venom stuff was enough for him.

Merc # 1: It was but I guess his addiction got worse.

Merc # 2: I have no idea. It's some kind of upgrade to Bane's venom. But it's all I know. Bane says not to push further or he'll pull me apart....literally. 

Robin didn't like where this was going he tapped on his ear speaker to contact Batman 

Robin: Bruce......Freeze and Bane are working together for another chemical heist. They're hitting a Gothcorp lab outside of Gotham tonight. What should we do? 

*Stay focus on our current objective.*

Batman: We need to find that lab's location. It has to be here somewhere. 

Catwoman: Gotham Boarder. Bane didn't say what they were after there but it's where they would hit.

Batman: And what does Bane want with Freeze?

Catwoman: Your question is as good as mine. Look.....I was only with Bane for my payment. I didn't bother asking what his goals were.

Batman: Whatever Bane is planning we can't let him get it. Nor Freeze. If Boyle is hiding something from the world that they want....it maybe more a threat to Gotham than it is valuable. 

Catwoman grins as she leans forward to Batman 

Catwoman: You're cute when you're determined. 

Batman: Not now. 

*Heads up Bats you got company!*

Bruce and Selina get to cover as more mercs enter the room hearing more talk

Merc # 3: So boss is really gonna tack on with the Ice-man? 

Merc # 4: He's only an asset. Bane will likely melt him when they have the next chemical. 

Batman overhears from above in vision scanner 

Robin's statement was legit Freeze and Bane are working together 

Catwoman prowls in dark corners listening herself 

Merc # 5: Wonder how he got that gun that freezes people. 

Merc # 4: Bane says he uses diamonds to power it up. It's like an ammo or something. 

Catwoman whispers to herself 

Catwoman: So that's what he did with my diamond. Just to make a damn weapon. 

Back on Robin's side he spots Batgirl above picking her moment 

He grapples up to her and couldn't shake off the feeling to talk to her

Robin: So uh....what's your story?

Batgirl: I'm sure you have your reasons I have mine.

Robin: Sorry.

Robin and Batgirl scan their area seeing four mercs in there with them 

Batgirl: Better put in team work on this.  We'll take two each and meet up with Batman and Catwoman. 

Robin: Right. Oh and just so you know....Catwoman isn't exactly with us.

Batgirl: But aren't her and Batman a...thing?

Robin: I don't know myself. 

So they went on their assignments Robin waited till two of his targets separated and the first one headed for his direction 

And Robin jumps him and takes him out

Batgirl sneaks up to her two targets 

And grabs both their heads and throws them against each other bumping into one another knocking them both out cold

It caught Robin's second target's attention but before he could react Robin took him out from behind 

Robin: Nice work. 

Batgirl: You weren't so bad yourself. 

Robin smirks

Back with Bruce and Selina they took out any merc in their way and made it to Bane's lair

The room had a weight bench punching bag and a computer 

Catwoman: Guess Bane likes brains as well as brawns. 

Batman: He's a step ahead. 

Bruce finds a door and pulled it open he walks into a room and what he finds.....

.....was utterly shocking 

There were tabs on both Batman and Bruce Wayne monitored in his system 

And it concluded one thing.....

.....Bane knows Batman's identity 

(With Bane knowing Batman's identity things are now grim.....is there any hope for our heroes now.....?)
