The screen cuts to Gotham City with a gong playing in the background with a Nine Years Later

 Two years after the fall of the Riddler and Two-Face committed to Arkham Asylum 

Gotham has been under the protection of Batman and Robin crime actually fell fast after Riddler's death not that Gotham was completely cleaned some criminals still run rampant criminals like Catwoman who Batman and Robin  been chasing for the past two years

In the middle of August heatwave ran wild since the end of the summer Gotham has been like an oven that would kill for cooling air

We come to Gotham University where at gym Dick Grayson was intending college funded by Bruce Wayne he was playing basketball for this week's game against Metropolis University team 

Dick had shots that scored them half way over above them a girl was on a running pad

A redheadish Burnet girl named Barbra ran fifty miles like she was running a marathon

Dick kept getting distracted looking up at her

Causing him to get distracted and fall off after another player bumps into him

The coach blows the whistle calling time out

A team member helped Dick up and the coach approached him 

Coach: You alright Grayson?

Dick: Yeah I just....I lost my focus for a minute. 

Coach: You're usually more concentrative than that. What happened? 

Dick: I don't know I guess...just had a headache. 

Coach: Well take five.

Dick went to sit as the coach blows the whistle 

Friend: Hey what really happened out there? You never let headaches stop you.

Dick: Who's  that up there? 

Dick points up to the second floor where Barbara was still running and the boy laughs 

Friend: You're kidding you don't know who that is?

Dick nods no 

Friend: That's Barbara Gordon. The Police Commissioners daughter. 

Dick: You're kidding me.

Friend: Nope. She just started here and a lot of folks are wigged out she's here. She's got her dad behind her on everything.

Dick was curious with her and a moment later Barbara finally exit off the pad

Dick: Bruce won't believe it himself. 

Friend: You think she'll go out with you knowing you're Bruce Wayne's ward?

Dick: Hardy. I'm not really trying to put myself in his shoes.

Friend: Just saying ladies run wild with him. 

Dick: You don't know the half of it. 

We cut to Gothcorp present day since the incident at 85

Bruce Wayne and Lucius Fox were in a meeting with Ferris Boyle aged from the past nine years

Boyle: As Gotham's new humanitarian of the year Gothcorp projects will be higher. Our pluses have never over 100%. And our stock higher than ever. 

Bruce: As impressed as I am....when my father was humanitarian when I was six he benefitted for all of Gotham not just Wayne Enterprises.  And with your angle it's just Gothcorp. 

Boyle: Bruce I thought you would have more faith in me than that. We're both charitable men I'm just working both sides separately. 

Lucius: Sure you mean well Mr. Boyle  but Mr. Wayne is not one minded for a case like this. 

Boyle: I am humanitarian both at heart and this year. So if you gentlemen doubt my word.....I don't think there's more to discuss till the humanitarian event. Good day gentlemen. 

Boyle closes his briefcase and walks out of the office with Bruce giving a mild smirk

Later Bruce and Lucius walked out discussing what they believed to be Boyle's true intentions 

Bruce: I still think Boyle's corrupt.

Lucius: Sadly he's innocent till proven guilty.  He's had the city's trust for years back when your father ran things. 

Bruce: We can't prove it yet. Doesn't mean someone we know who works outside of the law can't look into it.

Fox: Think you'll bring the kid in on this?

Bruce: He's busy college.  Dick tries to step out of campus when he can.

Lucius: You never minded being a loner. 

Later that noon a cargo ship was venturing to the river of Gotham 

Within in the lower deck held cargo....that held....lab equipment

A crew member came down sorting some of the crates but heard a bump 

He investigates the noise and found the lab equipment 

He didn't remember loading any of this He reached up for it but.....something red shinned on the wall in front of him

He turns and to his horror a figure with glowing red eyes stared into his eyes with death pointing a weapon at him

The man screams the second he's blasted FROZEN
