The next morning Hana got summoned by Gicheol, and got her first task assigned by him. The task is to take down a group of men belongs to sergeant Jang, who were interfering with shipping of the substance.

"Tae-ho told me that you can fight way better than my men here, so I'll accompany you to see what you can do.

"Think this is an test for you, if you win you'll stay and if you don't you'll leave our gang.

I didn't say anything about you because Tae-ho bought you here but to stay here you need to prove yourself. So prove yourself that you deserve to stay."

"I'll prove myself boss, be ready to make my place permanent here."

"Let's decide it after your performance. We are going within hour so go and get ready miss-- wait what's your name?

"Hana boss, Kim Hana."

"I'll see you within hour, Hana. You can leave now."

"Since I'm already here, can I say one thing?

"What is it?"

"You were very Handsome boss. I wanted to say that. I'll leave know."

Gicheol was too stunned to even utter a word. Know one literally no dared to talk to him since he came to Gaganam and that was years ago.

He knows he's handsome and every girls type but even then no girl wishes to talk to him nor even look at him. He thought it was because of the security and the gang he was maintaining.

But this girl directly said he was handsome on his face and left when he wanted to say something. She had completely ignored him. Brave of her to do that.

He silently chuckled to himself thinking about her and only her for quite sometime and losses track of time. He suddenly snapped out of his thoughts when Jeong Bae called him to get ready for the work.

"Did something happened?

"Nothing let's move."

Gicheol, Jeong Bae, Hee Seong, Manager seo and Hana moved to the parking area together.

"Where is Tae-ho?

"Ho got some other work."replied gicheol.

Gicheol, Jeong Bae are in one car along with driver. Hana, Hee Seong and manager seo took another car.

"Have you fought someone before? Asked Hee Seong.

"Ofcourse I did."

She rolled her eyes as she leans back to the back seat being irritated by the fact that everyone here is doubting her capability. Only if they know who she was and how much effort she put in her career.

This is the reason she was so proud of herself. She give up everything to become an ideal police officer.

Even knowing this mission was risky she had left her sick mother to the nurses to continue the mission and to witness Korea being a drug free country.

"Get down we have reached."

The place was near a sea port. The weather was so chilly yet peaceful near the sea.

The local gang members were all team up seeing that Gaganam gang arrival.

"Return us our package and we will let it go without any fight."

"You are all talks Jung Gicheol, don't forget you're just a slave under boss Jang. He told us not to let you guys take the package."

"So you won't listen when we talk nicely huh."

Jung Gicheol was furious, they were just some side men to their boss and they too were disrespecting him. How dare they.

This scenario made Gicheol increased the need to kill Jang. He just wanted to finish him off and runs the business without any one interfering or being inferior to him.

"Bring it on you motherfuckers."

Choi Jeong Bae rushed to fight the opponent but as he about punch,Gicheol had stopped him.

"You guys don't need to work hard, let's relax and Hana will take care of them. Right Hana."

"Yes boss, just sit back and relax."

She set herself sideways to her opponent, right side forward. Her left foot came forward, crossing in front of her right, and her hands were tucked in close, left held vertically in front of her chest, right against her side, fist up, ready to punch.

She spun counter-clockwise, on the ball of her left foot, right leg coming up knee-first, then extending as she spun, the heel of his right foot catching the man along the jaw, as Hana's weight settled on to all of her left foot, giving her kick more power and stability.

Hana moved her upper body neatly to her right, leaving her left foot planted, leg out like a tripwire.

The opponent tripped, and as he fell forward Hana slammed her elbow back into the man's gut, and snapped fist up into the man's face.

There was a crunch and a spray of blood as the opponent suddenly-exhaled breath blew his blood on to the back of Hana's hand.

The team took down the remaining two members as Hana solely focusing on the opponent team leader.

Hana was ready to throw a punch at his face as he ducked down. He was on the verge of loosing his consciousness, so Hana let him go.

Gicheol immersed himself like he was watching an interesting movie playing infront of him. He was very impressed with Hana's skills. The way she fights left him in awe.

At that moment he decided to let Hana stay in the group. The gang members aquire the shippment and left.

“Jeong Bae, you go with them and tell Hana to sit with me.”

“Gicheol but she's just a newbie. And the package is in the car, just let me come with you.”

“I need to talk to her more like interview her, so let her come with me.

Jeong Bae just noded, left to the other car and stopped Hana from entering the back seat and repeated what Gicheol had said him to do.

With having no choice Hana went to Gicheol's car hoping for a basic conversation. But in the corner of her mind she remembered Tae-ho's words when she faces the situation which she was facing right at the moment.

“If he asks any questions when I wasn't present, just remember be as sentimental as possible. Add whatever you want to the story and make him believe your words.

He had a rough childhood so he connects well with those who has same past as him. And tell me what you've told him so that I can back you up whenever it's needed.”

“Took you long enough to walk from other car to mine.”

“Sorry boss, I just zoned out for a bit.”

Both Gicheol and Hana sat back of the car. Hana was very nervous but couldn't show it.

“Tell me more about yourself?

“Isn't it better if you, were the one who asks questions, than me telling about myself.”

“Sure, if you were comfortable in that way.

When did you involve yourself in this line of work?”

“I think when I was 14. I guess.”

“What was the reason?

“Why do you want to know?

“You shouldn't be the one to question me, so answer mine first.”

“Sorry boss. My father was abusive and junkie so my mother left him, from then me and my brother left alone.

For me my brother stopped going to school. He used to cook, took care of me, took care of the house and even care for my father too.

Since he was a Junkie no one hired him for work. So my brother used to work. He became sole earner in the house.

And that's when we got to know that my father has many debts to clear. And we are nowhere has that much money to clear the debt.

So my stupid father gave up my brother to loan sharks as a slave. But thankfully my brother got escaped from there.

Since no one will hire my father, I decided to work to feed ourselves but who will give a work to fourteen years old girl.

So I did choose illegal way for earning and that's how I ended up with my previous gang but again my father got involved and stole the substance from them. And finally here I was.

I know it's long, sad story but you don't need to pity me.”

“I must say you suffered a lot. But what about your brother?”

“As he escaped from the loan sharks, he got settled in Jeong ju working as a bodyguard for a bigshot there.

Tae-ho and my brother stumbled upon eachother at a hotel and with the help of Tae-ho my brother got in touch with me again.

He's still working there and we still keep in touch. I wrote to him before coming here to brief about my situation but didn't got any reply.”

“I'm sure he'll write to you soon.
What about your father, Do you know where he was?

“No, and I don't even want about him too. He's gone for good.”

“Have you always been this straight forward?

“Oh! everyone says this to me, I guess I'm then. You're very observant person boss.”

“Being observant has made me from DJ worker to a boss now.”

“So you were DJ before. Then tell me how you became a boss. Tell me your story.”

“What?

“What-what tell me about yourself boss? I want to know about you.”

“None had asked about my story before.”

“Then I'm asking you now aren't I.”

“You were really a weird person hana.”

Hearing their conversation made the driver smile. It's not been that long since he worked for Gicheol but he had never seen him Sutter before. That to infront of a woman.

Infact this is the first time he had ever interacted and showed interest to a person. She must be lucky. He thought.

“Tell me boss I'm curious.”

“Why you want to know my story though?

“Well since you're my boss, employees should know how hard their boss had worked to reach this level right. It motivates us. You know.”

“It's nothing special, just same story as yours but my father wasn't abusive though. I just wanted to be rich that's all.”

“That's it. Agh I was expecting more.”

“You are really wierd. What is meant by expecting more?

“Like you became boss and rich for a lover or something like that. Like in movies.”

“Those things only happens in movies, stupid.”

His thoughts immediately went to Eunjung, the one who owns his heart till now. His first and only love.

He wonders how she was doing, where she was living but known nothing expect the fact that she's married. He heard this news through his mother's church friend.

The thought of her getting married made him heartbroken. He recalls their memories, every single day. He still wears the necklace, that he received on his birthday from her and he had given the same necklace  to her so that they can have matching necklace.

His thoughts were interrupted by Hana. She wanted to let him know that they have reached his place.

He had dismissed the driver to let him rest as he let himself out of the car. He asked Hana to gather near parking area at sharp eight to have a team dinner.

As he was about to move in Hana has called him and had  thanked him for let her stay with their gang.

“Thank you boss for letting me stay with you even though you didn't know who I was completely.”

“Even it is for Tae-ho I must say you earned yourself a spot with your capabilities today. You proved yourself, that's what matters. So from now on stop thanking and work hard.”

As he was about to move she called him again.

“What now?

“You should show your smile more boss, you're more handsome that way than your usual grumpy way. I'll leave now have a good rest boss.”

“Why she always leaves after speaking nonsense?

The man was too stunned to speak. He couldn't stop smiling within himself after hearing her words.

“Shes really weird.”

And he didn't know how this weird woman, will be the one to change his entire life.
