"I'm Kim Minji" was the first thing that the blue haired girl heard when she entered the school.

"What?" she asked confused as she scanned her posture.

"I said that my name is Kim Minji" she repeated and flashed her breath-taking grin that always made the girls go weak. Her lips twitched a little as she saw that her smile didn't affect her.

A big smile appeared on Siyeon's face as Minji felt a tug in her chest. 'Soul-killing smile' she thought as she looked back at the beautiful girl in front of her.

"Your name is?" she asked and stitched out her hand. She didn't understand at first, so she reached out for her hand and shook it. " Lee Siyeon." she stuttered as her face flushed a light pink at the sudden contact with the gorgeous girl.

She leaned closer making her startled as she moved a few steps back. "Uh-Uhm.." she was out of words. Why would a girl approach her out of nowhere and was clearly flirting with her?

"So.. would a pretty girl standing in front of me watch my morning volleyball practice?" she grabbed her chin with a smile, Minji a volleyball player.

"Im sorry but I'm not interested," Siyeon quickly said and ran away from her before she could do anything to her. A few seconds passed and Minji finally understood what just happened.

"Whať?"

"She really isn't interested in me, Sua?" Minji mumbled as she watched the girl that was perfect in her eyes, laughing with a girls that she was hanging out with lately. She was happy.

"Stop staring at her, it's creepy," Sua lectured her childhood friend but it was partly because she didn't want to see her suffer anymore. she already saw Minji in the state of breaking down a lot of times and she had enough.

"Why... everyone is simping for me but the person i love the most just isn't interested in me. Is something wrong with me Sua?" Minji looked at her best friend with a frown on her face.

"Life isn't fair Minji. You have to fight for the things you want the most," Sua bonked Minji1a's head with a little smile but the pain in her raising.

Minji forgot to look into the mirror closely as a dry drop of blood was right bellow her lip.

"But fighting in this situation will only cause harm to both of you. Iisten to me Minji. Save yourself first and let her go. Get rid of that disease, please... Jiu.."

after 3 days.

"Siyeon!" Jiu called the girl's name as she halted in her tracks and turned around to look at the girl who's calling her.

"Minji?" she asked, confused as to why was she there.

" I- " she said loudly but stopped talking just to get closer to her. They were standing in front of the school gate.

"I wanted to ask you something..." she shifted uncomfortably as the gaze of the lovely girl was just making her nervous. "What is it?" Siyeon tilted her head, checking the time as she was rushing home.

"Well.. I- Uhm." whe started mumbling and stuttering.

Siyeon just let out a sigh "Im sorry Minji but I am rushing somewhere right now. We can talk tomorrow, she said almost ready to walk out just to be stopped by a hand gripping her wrist, she quickly turned around, she saw a desperate volleyball player that only craved for love.

"Siyeon... Do you love me?"

"Im sorry but I am in love with another." and she removed minji's hand in her wrist and walk away.

in minji's bedroom.

"You stupid! ldiotic! Selfish! Dumb! Ass!" Sua continued to scold the brunette as tears swelled up in her eyes.

Her best friend was sprawled on the floor in her room, coughing bloody petals and flowers, making her throat ache and her heart breaking into pieces.

"You shouldn't have done that! You are dying faster Minji!" Sua tried to help her friend sit up.

"Im so-sory S-Su-a... I wanted to-to be sure..." Minji tried to say as the coughing got worse and her tears filling more in her eyes, blurring her vision.

"Im going t-to take the su-surgery. Let he-her go" Minji's eyes widened at the statement. After hearing the desperate calls for Siyeon's love, he finally gave up.

She finally realized that it's not worth her life. There are still people who would suffer for him.

Minji was pulled into a hug by her best friend as her cries got louder. "Thank you Sua..." she choked out with her tears as Sua held her best friend to make sure that she feels safe.

after 1 week.

"Don't put your life on line ever again dumbass..." Beeping sounds echoed in the white plain hospital room as the brunette setter was laying on a bed stil repeating one sentence in her head.

" Why am i here?"

"Minjii.." A voice interrupted hee confused thoughts as she looked up slowly to see her friend entering the room.

"Hey, Sua," she greeted weakly. "Hey idiot," Sua placed the flowers on the table beside the bed and looked at the weak brunette.

"How do you feel?" Bora asked with concern as she noticed something off. "I feel good, just something isnt right.." she told him and sat up properly.

"first off, why am I here?" she asked and Sua just gave her a small smile. "You came to get the disease removed," Sua reminded her but she still seemed off.

"Are you okay?" Bora poked the setter as she sat on the bed confusedly looking at her hands.

"Bora.. who was I in love again?" at the sentence, Sua widened hee eyes. she didn't remember? And she called her by hee first name?

"Idiot... you forgot Siyeon that quickly huh?" she chuckled but her smile disappeared as soon as she saw the confused expression on Minji's face.

"Who the fuck is Siyeon?" Sua quickly stood up and headed to get the doctor. "Wait here," she demanded and left Jiu sitting on the bed, thinking about her life decisions.

Minji only heard people talking behind the door as she sat there trying to remember.

''Siyeon?.. it sounds so familiar'' she thought and looked back at the door.

"Was she an important person?" she asked like if someone could answer her.

"I feel like she was important... it still hurts, I think it just might be by the surgery..." she mumbled and laid back down.

Tears streamed down her face as she hiccuped and covered her mouth quickly. "Who is she and why does it feel like she was important?" she tried to stop the tears. she was so confused and she needed an answers.

"Why doesn't she remember her?"

"Unfortunately, he held really strong feelings for her. They were that strong that when we removed the petals, it removed the memories with her too. I'm sorry,"
