"MIKU-CHAAAAAN!" Emu yelled, running around SEKAI like her life depended on it. "MIKU-CHAA— OUMFH!"

Emu yelped as she ran into something, clumsily crashing into it and then falling backwards.

"Emu-chan? Are you alright?" The 'thing' was none other than Nene, holding out her hand to help Emu back onto her feet. "It's quite late for you to be here in SEKAI."

Emu suppressed a comment on how it was late for her, too, much more concerned by other matters. "Nene-chan! Have you seen Miku? It's suuuuper important!"

"Hm? Miku? I think I saw her on the flying train with the plushies..."

"WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR? WE HAVE TO GO SEE HER NOW!" Emu grabbed a hold of Nene's wrist before she could react, practically dragging her off towards where Miku had taught them the train dismounts.

"So, can you finally tell me exactly what is so important?" Nene huffed, thoroughly tired out from all the running around Emu had made her do. Fortunately, they had managed to catch Miku and redirect her to the main stage tent for a bit of a talk about... whatever this was.

"What's up, Emu-kun?" They had also managed to locate KAITO and drag him along too, so, Emu couldn't wait to tell them about her discovery.

"It's super-duper important!" She said,

"I was checking my phone's files for some of our studio recorded songs so I could share them with my family members, because they wanted to know what songs we sang and stuff! And when I entered the folder that usually contains The World Hasn't Even Started Yet..."

"Then what? What happened, Emu-chan?!" Miku said, held captive by the suspense.

"There was a new file! A new Untitled file!" Emu explained, coupled by a behavior that could only be described as 'anxious bouncing'. "It's what I used to get in here! Now, there's another The World Hasn't Even Started Yet file but our song just plays like normal instead of as an access to SEKAI!"

"Oh, that's right!" Nene agreed, backing up Emu's statements. "I remember now— it felt so natural from when Tsukasa-kun hadn't discovered his True Feelings, that I didn't notice the title was different from usual..."

"It... changed back?" KAITO said, incredulously, even as Nene pulled out her phone to show him the aforementioned title. Miku seemed to be quite surprised by this, too, judging by her lack of a response.

"Do you have any idea what this means, Miku-chan, KAITO?" Emu asked, mostly curious, but also a bit concerned about the situation. "I'm worried something bad may have happened..."

"This has never occurred to us before..." Miku shook her head. "It's meant to stay as the song born from your Feelings and an access to SEKAI, once you've figured them out. I didn't think it could go back to being Untitled!"

"Unless..." KAITO said, thoughtfully. "Unless those Feelings aren't the True Feelings, or don't exist, anymore."

"Tsukasa-kun's True Feelings changed?!"

"No, that isn't right..." Tsukasa sighed, shaking his head as if to get his bangs out of the way of his vision.

He put down his pen beside the papers he had been writing on; a purple pen, one that Rui had lent him, once, and then he simply never bothered to give it back. Rui never asked for it, so he assumed the other didn't hold any grudge towards him for it.

"Onii-chan?" He heard Saki's voice from the door, following a light knocking, mentally preparing himself to be his usual self. "I made some cookies, they're downstairs, if you want some!"

"Alright then, thank you, my dear sister, Saki!" He practically yells back.

He's so tired of talking like that. He'll get over it tomorrow.

"Don't stay up too late, alright, big bro?" She says. "Goodnight, Tsukasa."

"Goodnight, Saki! Have wonderful and sweet dreams!" He responds, resisting the urge to scream once his sister is gone. He tries to pry himself away from what he was working on, but every time he thinks about leaving it unfinished, imperfect, he feels sick.

And so, he opens up the script again, feeling like he's going to throw up if he doesn't continue it, but also, like every second he spends thinking about it is going to kill him.

It's a strange feeling; like he's addicted to finishing this, so badly that he can't stop even when his mind and body are exhausted— thoughts of how a true star would have been able to finish this long ago plague Tsukasa where he sits on the desk, doing his best to ignore them.

"You don't have what it takes to be a star."

"Fuck," Tsukasa impulsively mutters, surprising even himself. He faceplants onto his hands ontop of the desk, trying to calm himself down before he does something stupid.

What had Rui said? Count to ten, take a deep breath?

Rui.

"Rui," He repeats, this time out loud. Rui had said Tsukasa could call him anytime if he needed something, and Tsukasa knew for a fact how disastrous Rui's sleep schedule was, so 11 pm was nowhere near late for him.

He pulls out his phone before he could think twice about it, knowing that he'd somehow manage to deter himself away from calling him if he did.

"Stop bothering him. A true star should deal with these things on their own, not rely on their stupid crush to help them out. How are you going to do anything when you can't even control your emotions? Just get over it, don't be so dramatic, you have plenty of time for that tomorrow when you continue being annoying—"

He opens Nightcord and clicks the call button on Rui's profile, sending him a few nonsensical DMs as well in hopes he'd be more likely to check his phone if he received multiple notifications instead of just one.

Frankly? He didn't know what he'd do if Rui didn't pick up.

A/N: if this doesn't make any sense to you

Basically my hc(?) is that the song born from their feelings at the end of the main story (the world hasnt even started yet) is also their access to sekai, which means they couldnt play the song before what happens in this chapter, they only had it in their memory/feelings

if/when those true feelings no longer exist/are not the true feelings anymore, the song stays, however there is a new untitled file until the person rediscovers their feelings and a new song is born.
