"I hope you don't mind if I invite someone else, Akito-san."

"Is it Tenma-senpai?"

"Precisely." Rui hummed, and for a second Akito wondered how he got to this odd situation in which there's practically a party at his house. "He's not going to come here, though. I was going to ask you guys if you wanted to join me on a trip to the mall with him?"

"Ooh, sure, sounds fun!" Mizuki nodded, tapping Ena's shoulder, much to her dismay, seeing as she was taking some selfies with Rui's pancakes and it made her phone shake. "Ena-chan, are you coming, too?"

"Sure."

"Y'never miss an opportunity to get new clothes for your stupidly huge closet, do ya." Akito sighed, noticing his sister's poor attempt at hiding her excitement. "Pass me some more pancakes, thanks."

"You're being awfully rude, Akito... that's no way to talk to your older sister, you know?" Ena bites back.

"Do you even count? You're a bad one, if so."

"Listen to your elders, Shinonome-kun." Rui laughed, very clearly enjoying the way his sister is terrorizing him.

"Yeah, you heard him. Where are your manners, Akito?"

Akito gave her the most unimpressed look he could muster, which is definitely what made Mizuki giggle at him.

He hates this family.

"Fine. You want polite? I'll be polite." He coughed, voice changing instantly to a mock, high-pitched one. "'Ah, Onee-sama that I love so so so very much, could you please please pass me the food lest you want me to starve and die?'"

"That hardly felt polite at all!" Ena complained, but Mizuki passed him the food for his efforts anyway.

"If only I had recorded that, I would have put it as my ringtone..." They lamented, dramatically. "Otouto-kun saying please... what a historical event!"

"Truly, a rare occurrence that will be recorded in books and other media for centuries to come." Rui played along, and Akito suddenly realized that if these two had a recording of him saying anything mildly embarrassing, they would make him regret it until the day he died.

He really should be more careful about what he says around these two, huh.

"I had no clue you knew how to cook, Kamishiro." Akito said, changing the subject before Mizuki and Rui could continue bullying him. "This is actually pretty good."

"Tsukasa taught me how to make these after he found out the reason I always bring stuff I don't like to school is because I don't know how to make anything else. He's a surprisingly good cooking instructor, fufu. One would expect him to be yelling at you the whole time." Rui laughed.

"I hope you're not going to start bringing pancakes to school everyday and let all the vegetables in your house rot." Mizuki said, looking at him with so much disappointment it was clear they already knew the answer.

"Aw, geez. I've been figured out."

"I have no fucking clue how you're even alive. You're like, the least healthy person I know." Akito sighed. "But to each their own, I guess."

"It's not my fault vegetables taste and feel bad."

"Sigh."

Mizuki burst into a fit of giggles at his single-worded statement, and Akito ended up laughing a bit, too.

Ugh. Touya's done something to him. He's going soft.

"RUI!"

Akito barely manages to see Tsukasa's shadow approaching before he practically jumps him. Thank god for Rui and his tallness, because if that were him, he would have fallen over and given everyone there something to bother him about forever.

"You seem a bit excited, hm, Tsukasa-kun?" Rui laughed, turning around to face the human equivalent of an overexcited puppy, giving him a pat on the head (once again, like he was an overexcited puppy).

"Senpais, please stop flirting in public, it's embarrassing." Akito said, trying to pretend like he didn't know the two people in front of him.

Mizuki, on the other hand, was probably already thinking about how they'd gossip about this to their friends and their friends' friends and so on. "Bitter Choco Decoration when love is in the air~"

"Mizuki, that's one of our most depressing songs." Ena sighed.

"But love is in the air, so it fits, no~?"

Akito should've asked Touya to come with him.

...nevermind. Touya would have spent the whole time following Tsukasa and he'd have to deal with that guy's ego being somehow even more inflated. Jesus, why is everyone he knows insane?

"C'mon, everyone! Let's hit the clothing shops!" Mizuki pointed to one nearby, grabbing everyone's attention.

"And not spend anything, because we're highschool students." Akito murmured back.

"You all have jobs, Akito." His sister reminded. "It's your fault for holding on to your money like it's going to kill you to lose a single yen."

"Yeah? Well, don't expect me to help when you come crawling back because your wallet is empty from spending all your money on clothing and only relying on social media to get it back."

"Hey! I'm still your older sister! Don't talk to me like that!"

"Respect is a two-way street, in case you didn't know, 'onee-sama'."

"Was it really a good idea to bring both of them together-?" Rui laughed, watching as the two argued.

"Me and Saki-chan have never been like this, it's kind of strange to watch... Maybe it's because Akito-kun is the youngest? But that sounds kinda odd..." Tsukasa commented from beside him, and he noticed that they were holding hands.

Hm. Gay.

"-well, it doesn't matter! EVERYONE!" Tsukasa yelled, which definitely caught the Shinonome's attention, because, well, he was so incredibly loud. "ARGUING WILL GET US NOWHERE IN OUR JOURNEY OF FINDING CUTE OUTFITS!!"

Mizuki nodded solemnly beside him, and Akito wondered how their ears somehow hadn't exploded yet.

"Tsukasa-kun is right. We're meant to be working together, not attempting to kill each other, fufu." Rui agreed, and it was his talking that actually managed to shut them both up. "How about we just go to the place Mizuki pointed out and figure out who pays once we actually have what we're paying for?"

And to Akito's surprise, Ena actually backed down from their argument. "...right."

What the fuck.

"Kamishiro-senpai, I think there's drugs in your voice."

Instantly, Ena got defensive again. "HEY, THE DECISION WAS MY OWN-"

"...and there they go again." Mizuki sighed, disappointment written all over their face. "Rui, do the thing again, will you?"
