Y/N's POV

"Gah!" I screamed in pain as I collapsed onto the floor after taking a powerful punch.

"Your form is still quite sloppy but you're improving, now I want you to practice the techniques on the training bot," My mentor instructed.

A doorway opens up revealing the training bot armed with a baseball bat, using holographic technology it turned itself into a thug.

The robot charged toward me and charged up its momentum to swing the baseball bat at my head.

I cannot rush this as I needed to wait for the exact right moment to counter his attack. Right when he was about to swing the bat at my head, I leaned far enough to the point where the bat was inches from my skull.

Using the momentum, I cross-punched the thug causing him to drop the bat and cover his face giving me an opening for the finishing blow.

Grabbing his shoulder blades, I kneed him in the stomach and front-kicked his skull causing him to plummet into the floor.

"Nicely done," He complimented.

"Thank you... Batman," I replied and he nodded.

"Just don't get too ahead of yourself, wait, hold on..." He said until he gets a call from someone.

"I understand... Well, Y/N, we're going to have to call it for a day. You've got a job from your Contractor," He informed me.

"What is it?" I asked while stretching out my arms and legs.

"It would seem that your mission with the group of former Justice Knights has grabbed the attention of one of the heads of the Tawagata Justice League, Kwon Eunbi, and they're not too pleased losing one of their best groups of heroes." He explained and I chuckled.

"What else is new?" I asked.

"Miss Jennie Kim needs your expertise once again, their scouts reported that Eunbi is leading a group of Justice Knights to storm the rebel hideout, and we need you to stop them if we're going to keep up this fight against Hoseok, or at least help them escape." He explained and I nodded.

Grabbing all of my gear, I locked and loaded my rifle with a 50 caliber bullet, and sheath my katanas, shurikens, and daggers.

"Consider it done," I replied and he nodded.

"Good luck, rookie," He said.

Exiting Wayne Tower, I head up the stairs to the rooftop where I order the bat computer to call in my ride.

About ten seconds later, my F-35B Lightning II swoops in and switches to VTOL before automatically opening the canopy for me.

Jumping inside by doing the sickest backflip, I closed the canopy, set the coordinates, and fly over to the rebel hideout at the speed of sound.

At no time, I arrive at the rebel hideout, landed in an open spot, retracted the landing gear, and made a beautiful landing.

Greeting me there, was Tzuyu herself, a dear old friend of mine, I jumped out of the cockpit and landed on the ground.

"Come on, Shin Y/N, no need for the mask, I already know who you are~," She said and I playfully rolled my eyes before taking off my seeker mask.

"Happy now?" I jokingly asked.

"Most certainly," She answered and giggled.

"Are you two lovebirds done yet? Come on, the Rebellion won't save themselves," Jihyo-Noona said.

Following the rest of our team into the main headquarters, we enter Jennie's office where we are quickly briefed on the mission.

"Alright, it's nice to see you all again but right now is not the time to catch up, the Rebellion is at grave risk, and if they capture me and the others, there will be one hope left in the city, your job is to ensure the hideout is kept safe however if it comes to a scenario when more Tawagata Knights arrive in big numbers, I will issue an evacuation order, and I need you all to buy us enough time to escape. That's all I have to say, good luck, all of you," She explained and we nodded.

"You can count on us, Unnie, we won't let you down!" Haewon assured and she smiled.

"I think it's time we settle a little score with the Tawagata Justice League," Lily mentioned as she connected her fist with her palm.

Leaving her office, we exited the Rebel hideout as the rebel soldiers began preparing their defense perimeters.

We entered the forest on the path where we believe the invading forces are coming from, and we decided to set up an ambush.

Tzuyu and I climbed up onto the highest tree in the area, I set up my rifle and adjust the scope to the environment to recon for the Justice Knights.

"Hey Y/N?" Tzuyu asked.

"You know it's a bad time, right?" I asked and she sighed.

"I know but... Will you be okay? I mean, you told me before that you were once part of them," She asked with concern in her voice and I deeply sighed.

"It pains me to fight against my former friends but they made their choice and I made mine," I explained and she nodded.

After waiting for almost an hour, I got a visual of them, I warned my team that IZ*ONE, IVE, and LE SSERAFIM are here so they get themselves into position.

The weather was stirred with heavy rainfall and lightning striking the skies, lighting up the entire area for a split second, but we won't let a little rain stop us.

"We should be close to the terrorist's hideout," Eunbi said.

"Finally, it's time to squash those vermin once and for all," Chaewon said as she smirked.

"I don't know, Unnie, I feel like we're being watched," Yujin nervously pointed out.

"You're still not scared from that incident in Gotham City, are you? I'm sure the assassin isn't here, besides all his activities are specifically located in that city and not in Tawagata," Gaeul assured but we grinned as she was more than wrong and they were about to find out.

Waiting for Jihyo-Noona's signal, right when they were in the range of our ambush, she commenced the attack and we catch them by surprise.

Aiming for the healers Chaeyeon and Yunjin first, I took the shot and take out both of them leaving them with no healers but they were still alive.

"Gah! I'm hit!" Chaeyeon screamed in agony.

"Fuck! I'm hit too!" Yunjin screamed.

"Shit, everyone get to cover!" Eunbi ordered and everyone got behind the trees and hide in the bushes.

"I-It must be the same assassin from Gotham!" Wonyoung shrieked as she hides under the tree.

"Yeah, no doubt about that!" Yujin replied.

As the rest of our team fight against the Knights, I kept a lookout for Kazuha, the last person I wanted to see...

"Uhm Y/N, I think we've been spotted..." Tzuyu pointed out and I looked through the scope to see Kazuha looking directly at me.

"Fuck... Hold on!" I instructed before pulling out my grappling gun.

Kazuha uses her powers of Mother nature to summon giant vines hurling toward us and I grappled onto the trees to dodge the vines.

I totally forgot that Kazuha is one with nature and she can sense anyone that dares try to hide from her.

Placing Tzuyu in a safe spot, I grappled onto a tall tree to stop Kazuha from killing my teammates.

Swinging on a branch, I used the momentum to use both of my feet to kick Kazuha in the chest causing her to crash into a tree trunk.

"Ahh! Damn, you're good! So you must be the assassin that Yujin and Wonyoung feared so much!" She said but I didn't say anything back.

"Silent-type, eh? Well, I like that but I see you as more of a very strong silent type~," She said as she raised poisonous sharp roots from the ground.

The sharp roots charged toward me but I grabbed both of them with my hands and tightly gripped them before ripping them apart causing Kazuha to groan in pain.

Kazuha summons a giant venus flytrap, the flytrap growls at me and licked its lips like a hungry predator looking at its next meal.

Unfortunately, for them, their next meal is going to have to wait... The flytrap tried to chomp on me but I backflipped and avoided its attack.

Drawing out my duel katanas, I threw a few shurikens and it stabs right into the flytrap causing it to angrily roar but I have a trick up my sleeve.

The shurikens I threw are actually explosive and in five seconds they exploded mortally wounding the beast.

"N-NO THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING!!!" Kazuha exclaimed as she screams in agony.

Delivering the final blow, I ran like the wind thanks to all of that cardio training and in a blink of an eye, I slashed the neck thus beheading it.

Kazuha fell on the ground and groaned in pain, slowly approaching her, I sheath my katanas and drew out my pistol.

"B-Before you kill me... P-Please... Tell me... Who are you?" She asked as she coughed out blood.

"Someone whose trust was betrayed by the likes of you..." I spoke with a decrypted and dark voice and lightning strikes illuminating my figure for a second.

"W-What do you mean?" She softly asked and I raised my pistol at her head.

"So... You're going to kill me...?" She asked and I shook my head.

"I'm nothing like you..." I answered before stunning her causing her to black out.

Taking a deep breath, I walked away from the scene and joined with Jihyo-Noona and the others.

However, as I arrived, the Justice Knights along with Eunbi have already retreated in defeat.

"You're late, where were you?" Sana-Noona asked and I sighed.

"I was dealing with Kazuha, don't worry she won't be a problem, at least for now," I answered and they nodded.

"Come on now, let's report this victory to Jennie, and we can get paid," Jihyo-Noona said and we followed her back to the rebel hideout.
