After that brief moment together, I went back inside of the bar where I sat next to Chris, everyone else seemed to be oblivious that I even left and started to joke around immediately.

"Thanks Chris." I said once we stepped out of the bar and started making my way to the ship with the others. "Hey *hic* where did cap'n go?" Sam said slurred with his arm around my shoulders. He drank a little too much.

"I don't know I think he went back on the ship." I answered shrugging my shoulders as I readjusted his arm to stop him from falling.

We continued walking through the city in silence until we got to the docks. "Here we go." Chris said as he took Sam from me and went up the ramp.

I nodded and took a deep breath as I took slow steady steps. Walking up ramps in heels takes a lot of work. Especially one with no rails.

After I finally made it up I wasn't feeling tired. Actually I was feeling rather alive. I heaved a sigh as I walked to a barrel and sat down.

"Can't sleep?" Tom walked up next to me and leaned against the wall. "Not with all these thoughts on my mind."

He nodded and looked up to the sky. "I've got time, what's on your mind?" He said sitting down against the wall of the ship.

Smiling I went ahead and asked my questions. "Okay for starters why was everyone calling my dad captain, who's the "ole cap'n", and finally what are you gonna do with me now, now that I think about it, whay did you kidnap me?"

He nodded his head contemplating his answers before looking at me. "You dad was once the pirate king, he left and disbanded the crew to be with your mother. Eventually he came back but we didn't know about you until recently when a ransom came up at the hideout."

He stopped to take a breath before continuing. "Anyway, he picked up Leo one day and made him his hier to the ship. We heard the ransom found you and took you here. Now, I don't know what we'll do with you."

After answering some more of my questions we called it a night. I walked to the cabin. He stole me for ransom to get ransom, who talk about getting rich fast.

Entering thr room I saw Leo on the floor wrapped up in a blanket, top less. Heaving a sigh I took off my shoes and got in bed.

Curling up in the blankets shivered. It may be summer but I feel so cold without his body heat rediating onto me. That night was a sleepless night, but nothing could prepare me for the next morning.

I woke up to an empty room and sighed. I didn't sleep well last night at all in fact I didn't fall asleep until the early morning rays crept through the window pane.

Sitting up I rubbed my eyes and walked to the door of the room. Opening it I found the deck almost completely empty other than the barrels and creates that were scattered about.

I walked out closing he door behindme when I realized I was barefoot. "Oh well." I said as I continued walking to see that we were still at port.

Just off the ramp of the ship was all the crew and my dad. "Daddy!" I yelled running out to him. He gave me a full on hug before he let me go.

He sighed in content before stepping back a little. "Is it too late to say I'm sorry?" He asked looking right into mt eyes.

"No, there's no reason too, I understand now." I said hugging him again. He chuckled before turning to Leo. "Well then boy you best be on your way before I change my mind."

I looked at him confused as he simply ran his fingers through my hair. "Of couse if you okay with it Ana." I looked between the two men. Leo with an emotionless face and my dad, with his cheerful smile.

"Okay with what?" I asked looking at the others as well as my dad who was now holding me at arms length. "Traveling with us silly!" Sam said seemingly better than last night.

My eyes widened in astonishment from my choice to stay with them. "Yes of course I will!" I yelled gaining strange looks from people passing by.

"Yeah!" Sam exclaimed hugging me. "Group hug! All in." Chris demanded tugging Nate and Tom in with him. My dad smiled happily with Leo looking as cold as ever.

After that we all embarked on the Mysterious and sailed off. It felt so awkward between me and Leo, he never looked me in the eyes, never spoke directly to me, stuff like that.

It was almost sunset and I had had enough of it. Everyone else was below deck doing whatever so I took the opportunity to speak with him at the wheel.

As soon as I got off the ladder I could tell that he was trying his best to ignore me. "Leo." I said silently walking up to him.

"What?" He said coldly looking off into the distance. "What's wrong with you? Why are you distancing yourself from me?" I asked back just as harshly.

Sighing he let go of the wheel turning torwards me he replied, "Why do you keep bothering me?" Those words stabbed my heart and my eyes brimmed with tears.

"Isn't it obvious?" I rerurned a question back at him with a cracked voice. "Isn't what obvious?" Guys are so blind when it comes to women.

"I... I love you." I said looking up at the setting sun. He stayed silent his face torn as if he was chosing what to say next. He slowly walked up to me and leaned down tucking a stray strand of hair behind my ear.

"Then prove it." His breath tickled my face as he jerked back and wemt to the wheel. I felt broken inside and I immediately ran to the cabin and cried myself to sleep.

I remember Henry writing a play on failed confessions. When I get back I should get him to write this into it.
