I do not own the characters of TV show teen wolf such as Scott, Derek, Allison, Stiles, and so on. I do not own the show teen wolf. I do not own the ideas of the TV show Teen Wolf. (Though I wish I could be such an amazing writer as the writer of Teen Wolf!!!) I do own my characters such as Emily and her friend Stephanie because I created the two girls.

The Other Girl: Prologue

I couldn't help but feel like something was out there watching my every move beyond the trees. A dense fog had rolled in the forest and didn't allow me to see anything that could possibly be lurking out there.

I just kept telling myself that it was nothing; that it was just a rabbit making the leaves rustle.

The hair on the back of my neck stood on end as a sudden growl came from right in front of me. 'No, there is definitely something there,' I thought while shaking my head.

I kept walking as the dead leaves made what seemed like a deafening crunch underneath my feet after every step. If something was out there it would know exactly where I was judging by the amount of noise each step was making.

Something bright in the corner of my eye caught my attention causing me to swing my entire being around to face whatever was causing the unusual light. Squinting my eyes to get a better look, I could barely see through the trees two glowing eyes starring back at me. The best way to explain how the red glowing orbs looked is the pits of hell.

Within seconds I was knocked to the ground with its sharp claws blindingly racking across my body, half exposing my abdomen before its claws sliced once again across my legs close to my knees. The cold air began biting at my now bare skin making my entire body quiver from fear and the sudden freezing temperatures.

This terrifying creature looked over my shaking body then back at my face with anger in its eyes as it licked its lips. Its tongue ran over its large canines hungrily making them glisten in the moonlight.

Precious air was being forced out of my lungs as the large creature pressed its front paw against me. It smelled of sweat and its eyes were almost completely glazed over now.

The creature positioned himself so he was standing above me with its legs on either side of my body except for the one pressing firmly against me.

It slowly lowered its head so its face was only inches away from mine. I watched in horror as its eyes began to clear up. The fog that once glazed its hellish eyes was now gone. They were replaced with a look of pain and regret. It winced as I whimpered under its massive body. I could see its breath in the cold air as it began to breathe heavier.

Without warning the creature shook its giant head quickly and gave me one last glance as its red eyes returned.

Before I could react I felt an unbearable pain in my throat as its teeth sunk into my flesh.

Then, darkness fell upon me.

A soft scream escaped my lips as I shot up in bed gasping for the air that I had been deprived of earlier in my dream. I reached for my throat trying to feel where the puncture wounds should be.

There was nothing I could feel on my throat as I ran my small fingers over smooth skin.

"It was just a dream. That was all it was." I whispered while taking in a deep breath, trying to calm myself.

Yet, it felt so real.

That was the first time I had that dream in a very long time.
