I do not own the characters of TV show teen wolf such as Scott, Derek, Allison, Stiles, and so on. I do not own the show teen wolf. I do not own the ideas of the TV show Teen Wolf. (Though I wish I could be such an amazing writer as the writer of Teen Wolf!!!) I do own my characters such as Emily and her friend Stephanie because I created the two girls.

Chapter 69- Part 1:

--Scott's POV:

I was running through the forest towards home but slowed down to a walk after a little while. I knew Derek wasn't far behind. His words kept on racking through my brain. Em was his mate? But how? She was human. I may not know a lot about the lives of werewolves but you would of thought he would of chosen someone more like ‘him.’ Don't get me wrong, just because Em is his so called mate, doesn't mean I accept the fact they were together.

I kept walking with my hands shoved in my pockets letting my mind wander to how I could get Em to stop being with him, even though I knew it wouldn't happen. She was so stubborn.

I didn't realize how far off course I was until I saw Derek's old burnt down home standing in front of me just beyond the trees. I stared at the old building and couldn't help but wonder what it looked like before the fire. I reached further into my pocket to text Sean and Em that I had found Derek and we were coming home. I sighed when my fingers only met the fabric of the inside of my pocket. I kept forgetting that I had lost my phone a while ago. As of on cue I heard Derek coming up behind me. I looked over at him. He looked like he was back to him normal pissed off self. He glanced up at me then to behind me at his old house. I couldn't help but feel sympathetic towards him at this moment. I couldn't imagine losing Em and mom, let alone my entire family.

"I don't have my phone. Can you text Em or Sean and tell them where we are and we are coming home?"

He only nodded and reached into his jean pocket. I turned back to his old home and took a few steps forward until I was in what used to be the front yard. The smell of burnt wood and ash was almost overwhelming. I could see Derek come stand next to me out of the corner of my eye. I looked over at him. He only stared at his old home, never taking his eyes off it.

We were silent for a while but we both looked at one another as we heard leaves rustle not to far away from us.

"Did you hear that?" I asked.

He quickly shushed me, his eyes starting to glow their icy blue. We both scanned the tree line but saw nothing.

"Scott, move!" He yelled out of nowhere but it wasn't enough time for me to react.

I was pushed roughly to the ground and heard a grunt of pain right after. It took me a while to realize that Derek had pushed me to the floor. I looked next to me and saw him writhing on the ground in pain with an arrow sticking out of the back of his shoulder. I was shocked that he had pushed me out of the way and took the arrow himself.

"Scott, get out of here!" He growled while slowly getting up to his feet.

I was to shocked and confused at first to move but Derek quickly took me out of my daze. He gripped the back of my shirt and drug me to my feet. I noticed he had ripped the arrow out of the back of his shoulder and it was bleeding profusely.

I stumbled a little as he shoved me towards his home. He yelled at me to run and I was just about to but my keen eyesight picked up on another arrow whizzing through the air like a bullet. I heard Derek yell out in pain as it went straight through his thigh making him fall to the ground, no longer able to get away. I couldn't leave him now even though I wanted to. I didn't like him but he had saved my life and I felt like I owed him.

I searched the tree line for our attacker and zoomed in on two figures kneeling next to a large oak tree. I squinted my eyes trying to get a better look. I took in a sharp breath as I saw her beautiful brown hair and her brown eyes coldly staring into my own. Her arm was pulled back and parallel to the ground with a bow in her hands. She was aiming right at us.

"Allison." I whispered in disbelief.

"Scott! Close your eyes!" Derek yelled but I was to late.

Allison shot another arrow and it went flying past us. I was confused because she missed but then it hit a tree and burst into flames. The explosion emitted a bright white light, which blinded both Derek and I. I fell to the ground as the bright light made my head feel like it was about to explode.

I couldn't move as I lay on the ground clutching my head, trying to get rid of the horrible pain. I opened my eyes as I heard two footsteps coming towards us. My eyesight was blurry but I could still see Allison now standing over me.

"Allison..." I started.

"Shut up!" She snapped.

"There you go. Show him that you aren't the poor little girl you used to be." I heard another female voice coming my way.

I pushed myself up so I was propped up on my elbows. I immediately noticed Allison's aunt, Kate, standing over Derek with a gun pointed straight towards him. Derek looked like he wanted to rip her apart but couldn’t because of the lethal weapon pointed at him.

"Stop!" I yelled at Kate.

I turned my attention back to my ex-girlfriend, "Allison why are you doing this?"

"Don't. You know exactly what's going on. I know what you are. I know what you do." She snapped again, tears welling up in her eyes as she spoke. "You're a killer."

"What?" I yelped.

"Don't lie. You have lied to me this whole time! I guess you haven't heard about Lydia have you?"

I was speechless, wondering what Jackson's girlfriend had to do with anything right now.

"She was attacked, by one of your kind." Anger dripped from her voice as she said the last word.

"What? How?" I asked, shocked.

"By your Alpha." Kate added in as she pressed her foot down onto Derek's chest, never letting her gun leave its mark.

"He isn't our Alpha." Derek growled.

"Here we go with the lies." Kate said as if she was bored and rolled her eyes, pointing her gun right at Derek's stomach as she lifted her foot off him. "Let's just get this over with already."

My jaw dropped as Kate pulled the trigger. A loud shot rang out through the forest as the bullet met its mark.

--Emily's POV:

I groaned at the buzzing sound that was interrupting my sleep. I slowly opened my eyes and saw my phone buzzing on my nightstand. I noticed I was still leaning against Sean. I smiled at his sleeping form and slowly moved his arm from around my side, placing his arm next to him gently. He shifted a little from the movement but quickly fell back into a deep sleep.

I carefully moved to where I was sitting on the edge of my bed next to my nightstand.

I picked up my phone and was blinded by the bright light that lit up my pitch-black room. I heard Sean moving behind me and I quickly turned my phone the other way so I wouldn't wake him. I carefully slipped off the bed and walked towards my door with phone in hand.

I slowly closed my bedroom door and cringed as it moaned and groaned on its hinges.

I took a deep breath as it finally was completely shut. I quickly sprinted down the hallway to the stairs, walking down them, and making my way to the kitchen. I was hoping Derek and Scott were home by now but I quickly noticed it was still just Sean and I. I leaned against the kitchen counter as I flipped my phone open. I saw that it was Derek who had messaged me and smiled. I was still sad that he had left like that but I wanted to make sure he was ok before I confronted him about it.

He said that he was by his old home with Scott and they would be home soon. He also said that he was sorry and that he would explain everything as soon as he could. I smiled as I read through the words. I don't know what Scott told him but he must have got through to him.

I casually walked towards the refrigerator and opened it. I sighed, realizing there was nothing to drink but a few bottles of water. I reluctantly grabbed a bottle of water and shut the refrigerator door.

As I walked towards the kitchen table I took in a sharp breath as a short but painful jab hit the back of my shoulder. It made me hunch over a little and almost took the breath away from me. I reached the kitchen table and quickly put the bottle of water down. I placed both my hands on the table and took deep breaths. Maybe my back was still hurt from the attack and I pulled it somehow just now?

I shook my head, dismissing it as the pain faded quickly. I stood up and sighed. I reached for the water but stopped as a crippling pain hit my leg, making my legs give out from underneath me. I fell to the ground an immediately clutched my thigh. It hurt like hell. It felt as if I had a really bad cramp or a fracture in my right leg.

"What in the world is going on?" I winced as I sat on the kitchen floor.

I had a horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach that I couldn't explain. I knew something was wrong but I couldn't figure out what.

It was the sudden pain in my stomach a few minuets later that had me wanting to scream out but I suppressed it.

A voice in my head kept repeating that something was wrong for some reason.  My fingers wrapped tightly around the thin fabric of Derek's shirt  near my stomach and then it hit me. Something was wrong with them. I needed to find Derek and my brother. Don't ask me how I knew but I did. What were they thinking going out in the forest at night? The Alpha was out there!

I quickly gathered all my strength and pulled myself up to my feet. I needed to find them. Something wasn't right.

I glanced over at the counter and noticed Sean's car keys sitting on the cool surface.

"Good enough." I mumbled to myself, thankful that the pain was fading in my stomach.

I snatched the keys off the counter and grabbed my black jacket off the coat rack near the front door. I carefully slipped the tight black fabric over my body and winced as the odd positions made the scarring claw marks uncomfortable.

I slipped out the front door and silently prayed that Sean wouldn't kill me for taking his car.

I was hoping I would be back before he even woke up.

I knew where Derek and Scott were so that's where I was going. Thankfully since Sean was an officer, he had the keys to the forest entrance gate so I could just drive through it instead of having to park and walk the rest of the way to Derek's old house.

I sped down the road, only hoping that everything was ok.
