I do not own the characters of TV show teen wolf such as Scott, Derek, Allison, Stiles, and so on. I do not own the show teen wolf. I do not own the ideas of the TV show Teen Wolf. (Though I wish I could be such an amazing writer as the writer of Teen Wolf!!!) I do own my characters such as Emily and her friend Stephanie because I created the two girls.

Chapter 68:

--Emily’s POV:

I couldn't help the cry of ecstasy that escaped my lips as he moved one last time, bringing both of us to pure bliss. Our breathing was so heavy as he collapsed next to me. He pulled the sheets up and over my naked frame while kissing me all over. His strong arm immediately draped over my bare stomach and pulled me toward his toned chest.

I whimpered a little from the sudden movement and I looked over at the two green pools watching me with great concern.

"Did I hurt you?" Derek asked.

I shook my head, unable to speak, and smiled at him. I was sore but my happiness was overwhelming it.

"I know when you're lying." Derek chuckled.

I could only let out a breathless laugh. I was still trying to catch my breath and recover from what had just happened. The bed dipped down and I felt him leaning over me. I felt his warm lips trail down my chin to my neck. His lips left my bare skin and reappeared on my own lips. He brought me into a slow, passionate kiss that was making me hot all over again. I could feel the butterflies fluttering in my stomach but he pulled away and kissed my forehead while returning back to my side.

I had never felt so complete in my life. I could feel his hand running up and down my bare stomach in a soothing matter.

I closed my eyes, feeling too weak to do anything more.

I was confused when I felt his breath on my ear and he spoke only two words.

"I'm sorry." He whispered.

Derek's arm was gone off my stomach. I quickly opened my eyes and looked next to me and saw that he was gone as well. Did I do something wrong? I felt myself panic, and yelled out his name but it fell upon deaf ears.

I reached down to pull the sheet over my upper half but noticed something else was there.

I looked down at my stomach and screamed as I saw the claw marks on my chest. There was blood everywhere. Did Derek do this to me? It covered the sheets all around me making me gag.

The room felt as if it had grown darker as I stared at the crimson color surrounding me. My head snapped up to my bedroom door as I heard it opening ever so slowly. It creaked and moaned loudly as it slowly swung; until it was all the way open. I couldn't move and was frozen with fear as I looked on in horror.

Two red eyes stared at me from my doorway. I could only see the glowing red eyes because it was pitch black in the hallway.

"No." I whimpered not believing what I was seeing.

The Alpha suddenly lunged forward and was on top of me in seconds. I let out a scream as the bed dipped down and screeched in protest with the new heavy weight on top of it. I was more than aware of my nakedness but was thankful for the sheet that covered my abdomen and everything below it. I quickly swung my hand back and slapped him across the face, making his head turn abruptly to the side. He growled lowly and I immediately regretted it.

His huge clawed hands wrapped around my wrists and pulled them above my head. He easily held both of my wrists in one clawed hand, leaving his other hand to roam. I cried as his free hand moved to my neck. He led one sharp nail along my fragile skin, easily breaking through the first layer of flesh. I could only cry as his razor sharp nail trailed down my neck to my collarbone all the way to just above my breasts. He lowered his head and let out a horrible roar that made me shake all over.

"It's time to finish what we started." He spat. His voice was so demonic.

"No, please." I barely whimpered.

He only smiled and lunged towards me. I let out a piercing scream as his teeth sunk into my neck.

"Emily! Wake up!" Someone yelled.

My eyes snapped open and I felt a heavy weight on top of me. I struggled, thrashing around, to get them off but they were too strong. They had a hold on my hands as well.

"Em! It's me. Calm down." I looked up and saw Sean above me.

He was straddling my lower stomach with his hands holding my hands down on either side of me. I could feel my entire body relaxing, realizing it was just a dream.

"That’s it. It's ok. It was just a nightmare." He said gently as he slowly let go of my hands on either side of me.

He leaned back, taking most of his weight off of me. I gasped as I saw his face. I could easily see five red finger marks along his cheek. When I had slapped the Alpha in my dream, I had slapped Sean in real life.

"Sean I..." I started, feeling horrible for my actions.

"Don't be sorry. You didn't know what you were doing." He chuckled as he moved off of me and sat against the headboard.

I soon moved next to him with my back against the headboard as well. I pulled Derek's shirt that he let me have to sleep in, tightly around my much smaller frame as the cold air swirled around me. I was grateful that Derek had made me put on sweatpants to sleep in because it was absolutely freezing right now. I pulled my knees to my chest and took a deep breath.

"Was it about the Alpha?" He asked in a low whisper.

I nodded my head slowly and sighed.

"Where is Derek?" I suddenly asked, knowing he had gone to sleep with me earlier before I fell asleep.

"Not sure." Sean replied as he ran a hand through his blonde hair. "He was up here watching over you then about five minuets ago he stormed down the stairs and left without a word. He seemed pissed or frustrated about something. Scott chased after him to see what was wrong. You didn't do anything to upset him like that, did you?"

"No, not that I know of. I fell asleep the minuet he brought me to my room."

Sean let out a sigh and shook his head.

"As soon as he left, I came upstairs to check on you. Before I even got to your door I heard you screaming."

I felt myself tense and a single tear fell from my eye, remembering my dream. It was way to similar to the real thing. I felt Sean's arm wrap around my shoulder and pull me into his side. I relaxed against his side as my head lay on his shoulder. His arm dropped from my shoulders and wrapped firmly and protectively around my waist.

Maybe when I had dreamed that Derek had left, he in reality actually had left my side. But why? Why would he leave me like that without telling me or anyone else?

I looked down at Derek's shirt that was on me.

"Will he be ok out in the cold without a shirt? It has to be below freezing tonight."

Sean chuckled. "Yeah, he will be fine. Werewolves tend to run hot anyways."

"Hot headed." I mumbled under my breath earning a chuckle from Sean.

I smiled and shook my head.

"Try and get some rest. Scott will find Derek and he will be back soon."

I slowly closed my eyes and wasn't able to reply as I drifted off into an uneasy sleep.

--Derek's POV:

My clawed hands and feet hit the ground with dull thuds as I crashed through the forest. Birds and other small animals scurried away as they heard me coming.

I came to an abrupt stop at the edge of the cliff and let out a low growl. I stood up and took a deep breath. The night air filled my lungs giving me little comfort.

I had to leave. I couldn't be in the same room as her. Her hormones were being thrown at me as she lay next to me and I couldn't hold myself back any longer. I had almost completely lost it when she let out a small moan in her sleep. She was dreaming about 'it.' If I hadn't left, I don't know what I would have done.

I hated leaving her but I didn't know what else to do. I turned my glowing blue eyes to the moon above me and sighed. It would be a full moon in a few weeks.

My mind went to whether of not Em would shift or not. The more I thought about it, the more I worried about her. I knew she would be hunted and I couldn't let that happen.

I had already decided what would happen and had a plan. If she shifted on the full moon I would take her and leave Beacon Hills. I could take her somewhere where we wouldn't have to worry about being hunted or anyone else. She would be safe. We would have to go to my home in New York before and then figure out where to go from there. I had a two-bedroom apartment in Brooklyn that I have lived in since the fire took everything from me that we could stay at until we could find a home somewhere safer. I couldn't let anything happen to her, I wouldn't let anything happen to her.

I spun around as I heard someone coming up behind me. I growled and bared my teeth at the person that dare approach me right now.

"Derek?" I heard Scott yell and I took a deep breath, relaxing only slightly.

He came around the corner and stopped just as he saw me standing by the edge of the cliff.

"Finally." He said in between deep breaths as he bent over with his hands on his knees, obviously exhausted.

"What do you want?" I snapped in no mood to talk to anyone right now.

"You left without saying anything." He started as he walked towards me but stopped as he noticed that I was fully shifted into my werewolf form. His eyes flashed gold on pure instinct as if taking my current physique as a threat.

"What's wrong with you?" He asked. His tone was low as if sensing my bad mood.

When I didn't answer he took a few steps closer but stopped again as I let out a warning growl to not come any closer.

"Look, I don't know what your problem is but there is no way that you didn't hear Em screaming right after you left. I heard it so I know you heard it, yet you didn't come."

A ping of guilt shot through my body, making me regret leaving but I knew it was better that I left, wasn't it? Scott wouldn't forgive me though because he didn't know the whole story.

"You don't understand." I spoke as calmly as possible.

"What do I not understand? You left her; you didn't go to her when she needed you. My sister isn't just some game Derek!"

"You are being overdramatic." I growled as I took a step forward, although I knew he was somewhat right.

"I'm telling you the truth!" He snapped loudly.

I didn't answer as I watched the much younger werewolf in front of me. My ego was getting in the way of any reason Scott could or would ever try. I took a deep breath and turned away from him to look back up at the moon.

"She deserves someone so much better than you." Scott hissed.

That was the last straw. How dare he say that she deserved someone better than her own mate. Well, my mate. I hated that word but everyone was throwing it around so much lately that I have become more accustomed to it.

I spun around on my heel and my claws were around his throat within seconds. I threw him down on the ground.

He grabbed my wrist that held him down and ripped it off his throat. I brought my free hand back and threw my fist down towards his face. He quickly dodged it and rolled out from underneath me. I rose up to my feet and could feel the rage flowing through my veins.

I turned to see Scott standing in a defensive position only a few feet away from me with his head bowed down. He slowly lifted his head, revealing his werewolf form. I smirked; revealing my long canines, realizing this was going to be a fun fight. A fight I needed right now to blow off some steam.

I was brought out of my thoughts as he charged towards me. I easily blocked his first punch and his second punch. He threw multiple hits my way but they never met their target. I easily saw his weakness and took him down with ease. With one swipe of my claws across his chest, I threw him through the trees and heard his body hit the ground with a loud thud, followed by groans of pain.

The forest went silent as I looked around me casually, waiting for him to make the next move.

I heard him coming up behind me before he could ever make any attempt at getting to me. The shocked look on his face amused me as my fist went straight into his chin, sending him tumbling to the ground behind him. I didn't expect him to get up so quickly as I turned around. I caught his two fists midair but wasn't so lucky after that.

I was thrown off guard when his leg went crashing into my side. I let out a grunt as I stumbled to the left from the force. I quickly shook it off and smiled at the young werewolf now circling me.

"You have improved a lot." I laughed. “Unfortunately for you, it's not enough to beat me."

His glowing, yellow eyes widened as I appeared in front of him. I could only smirk as I grabbed him by the front of his shirt and lifted him off the ground. His hands instantly went to my arm now holding him up, desperately clawing at it to let go. I ignored his sharp nails racking across my arm for a few seconds but became annoyed and let go of his shirt only to slip my fingers around his neck midair. He gasped for air but I ignored it. I was to pissed off to care if he couldn't breathe. I knew he wouldn't die from this, so why care?

When he finally stopped struggling I let go of him and he fell into a weakened heap below me, gasping for air.

"You don't deserve her." He said hoarsely in between breaths.

I snarled at him and knelt down on one knee to his level. His glowing yellow eyes met my glowing blue eyes.

I watched him for a few seconds and took a deep, long breath. I needed to calm down.

"You wouldn't understand." I whispered as I sat down next to him, allowing myself to shift back.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Scott cautiously shift back as well and push him self up so he was sitting next to me but not too close to me.

"Then explain it to me." He said as he rubbed his throat with one of his hands. I could see the claw marks I had left him were slowly healing.

I wasn't sure if it was a good idea to tell a very over protective brother that his sister is your soul mate.

"There are still a lot of things you need to learn about our kind." I spoke, avoiding the question all together.

"Then start explaining. Emily is safe with Sean so we have all night." He said as he shifted in his spot, trying to get comfortable on the hard forest floor.

"It's not that easy." I mumbled.

"What is it with you and all these answers that only lead to more questions? Just give me a straight answer for once!" Scott practically yelled, getting aggravated.

I looked down at my hands and stretched them out, allowing my claws to form. It was a habit I formed after my family was killed. I wasn't sure why I did it but when I was able to I would when I needed to think or I was nervous about something.

Scott watched me for a few seconds and let out a frustrated breath of air.

"At least tell me you are with my sister for the right reasons." He mumbled under his breath while looking at the ground in front of us.

I looked up at him half surprised that he was actually somewhat accepting the fact that we were together. He wouldn't even look at me as he turned his gaze to the moon through the trees above us.

"Please tell me you won't hurt her like every other guy in her life has before. I don't ever want to see her like that again." He said in a spiteful tone, as if remembering all the times Em has been hurt.

"I would never hurt her." I stopped, debating whether or not I should say the next part. I decided I needed to. If I was going to be a part of Emily's life, I needed to tell the one person she loved more than anything, her brother, the truth.

"It won't mean anything to you and it probably won't make since..." I started.

"I don't care." Scott interrupted.

"Scott, Em is my mate. I don't like that label but it is what our kind calls it."

Scott only looked on at me in half shock, half acceptance.

"No matter what she does or where she goes, I need to be with her. She might not need me as much because she is human but that isn't the case for me." I quickly shut my mouth as I realized how stupid I was sounding. I sounded like a high school girl talking about their crush and it pissed me off, yet every word was true.

Scott didn't say anything; he just stared up at the moon.

"If you hurt her, I will kill you. I’ll tell the every hunter I can find, I’ll tell Allison's dad, everyone." He spoke in a dangerous tone without looking at me and I knew he was serious. "I don't care if it cost me my life. She won't be hurt because of you."

I couldn't help but smirk as such powerful words left such a small werewolf.

"Fine." I told him.

He stood up and with that he began running back into the forest were he had come from, towards the exit, and his house. I shook my head and stood up as well. I took one last glance at the moon before I soon began to jog back into the forest. My body felt refreshed and new as I ran to her. I needed to tell her everything she wanted to know.

No more holding back. No more secrets.
